ARMOUR

Aliit'gam "Skin of the Clans" Armour System, Customized

Rav Markal's Aliit'gam is constructed out of duraplast plates and a black armorweave jumpsuit. Its helmet has been equipped with a direct-to-mind interface that allows the wearer to command the suit without need of voice activation or other such control methods. This is very useful for Markal, as she is Miralukan and both cannot command the suit via blinking and can use it more quickly and effectively, at a speed that synergizes with her enhanced reflexes more ably than normal armour could. The armour is also equipped with external speakers.

Her "Skin" is painted a deep navy blue, almost black, with red tiger streaks. Its visor glows a light blue. This represents both her calm nature, as well as her other, darker side. Its internal temperature is regulated and maintains a slightly colder-than-normal heat, as Markal prefers cooler temperatures. It helps keep her alert and calm.

Rav's armour is also customized with the addition of magseal emitters in her gloves, and a larger-scale magseal generator in her backpack. Beneath her jumpsuit she wears a thin armourweave undersuit (shown in main picture) that affords her incredible agility at the cost of nearly zero armour.

WEAPONS

Traycn'buurenaar "Firestorm" Repeater

Markal's primary weapon when fighting open battles, alongside her magseals. Its tibanna cartridge can fire up to 200 rounds, and its power pack contains enough energy charges for 125 bolts. Its bolts are blue. It can be fired in both semi-automatic and fully-automatic modes, and is lightweight, reliable, and powerful. Rav's version is modified with an underslung magseal emitter than can generate a magnetic seal in the shape of a bayonet, increasing the rifle's usefulness in close-quarters combat. Its optics have been removed, leaving only rudimentary iron sights, as a Miralukan needs no such equipment. Rav carries two extra tibanna canisters on her person, as well as three additional power packs.

Taskmaster Pistol

Rav carries extra eight power packs for her Taskmaster Pistol in various pouches on her body.

Jedi Padawan's Lightsaber Trophy

The weapon of Markal's verd'goten target. She carries it around as both a trophy and armament, though she is completely unschooled in the usage of such a weapon. Its blade is blue, which compliments her armour quite nicely when she does wield it.

(This is something best left to professionals, as I cannot describe how I imagine her as well as I might hope. This snippet of information is but an incredibly vague insight into her as a character, and I hope that you would rather role-play with her yourself than rely upon this small tidbit as a gauge for her character.)

Markal is a calm individual, primarily due to her Miralukan blood. She prefers to remain silent and allow others to speak their minds, though when she speaks her own, her words are soft-spoken and thoughtful.
Rav acts much the same way in combat, maintaining a neutral position, letting the enemy act and observing them as they do. Then, when she finds a weakness, the battle doesn't last for much longer. She is also a lone wolf, and rarely works well with others.

Markal, unlike most Mandalorians, does not believe in the Manda, the Mandalorian afterlife, nor was she taught it by her parents, who also did not partake of the Mando'ad religion. She is much too down-to-earth to partake in such fantasies, and neither does she affiliate herself with any religion, her race's or otherwise.

Born to a pair of Miralukan Mandalorians, Rav was raised in true Mandalorian fashion. She was taught the Resol'nare by her mother and learned the Mando'ad language, while her father fought in myriad wars to maintain his family's newly-established homestead on Mandalore. When Rav came of age, she and her mother joined their man in battle. Due to Clan Markal's Miralukan status, they employed the use of magseals as weapons more effectively than most species, and trained their daughter in the usage of such. Rav also received tutelage in more traditional warrior techniques, such as hand-to-hand combat and marksmanship.

When Markal turned thirteen, she underwent her verd'goten, the Mandalorian rite of passage. She was tasked with the hunting and head-collection of a Jedi Padawan. Rav's encounter with the Padawan was orchestrated by her parents, after which she was left to her own devices. The young apprentice was no match for her, a Mandalorian warrior in all but name, and she dispatched him easily, earning her a place among her fellow Mando'ade. She keeps his lightsaber as a trophy to this day; a reminder of her induction into Mandalorian society in full.

Rav's parents eventually died in some war or another, as is the norm for Mandalorians. She struck out on her own, and became an independent bounty hunter and mercenary. During the recent Mandalorian Civil War, Markal abstained from fighting, preferring to the let her idiotic, suicidal brothers sort out their own political differences. She spent her own time hunting bounties, playing soldier, and doing other various odd jobs as a mercenary. We find her in the Oyu'Baat, relaxing as she so rarely gets to.

I like what you have so far, and she is definitely a unique character. My only complaints are that you should expand the personality some as well as the history. I get the gist of it, but it doesn't meet the qualifications for the sheet. But good! Love the picture too.

While I can't comment on the Mando side of things, the tech you've listed there will have to be run through the Tech Profile board as it isn't canon, and you won't be allowed to use, or make reference to any of it. Unfortunately, the board is temporarily closed for the timeskip, allowing Jiang the time needed to... i donno... do stuff.

But all that aside, looks ilke a great character!

Fantastic... so, I can't use any of the technology I've created, and I can't actually submit it for acceptance, either. What am I supposed to do?

For now, you may want to consider this armor. It is highly customizable and still retains a uniquely Mandalorian appearance.

As for weapons, you may want to check out the Mandalorian Technology thread and the MandalMotors Product Catalog thread. Most of the weapons there are readily available to the common Mandalorian.

Also, I noticed you listed her weight in armor. Going off the picture of the armor, it would weigh a lot more than ten kilograms. Standard issue body armor worn by troops in Afghanistan weighs over forty pounds (over 18 kg), and that's not including their boots, water, ammunition, weapon, knee pads, elbow pads, helmet, ruck (a large backpack), and so on. In other words, you're way off. Obviously that won't really matter until you submit the armor for approval, but I figured I'd give you a heads-up now. Armor offering full coverage like that is going to be extremely heavy. Not only that, but is is probably going to cost a small fortune, too.

The biography meets and exceeds the requirements for a profile of this type, so you aren't obligated to add more, but I highly encourage you to expand it further. One of the most important facets of a Mandalorian character's biography is the verd'goten, which as I'm sure you know, is a rite of passage that marks their coming of age. It's a pivotal moment for every Mando, so making mention of it in the biography is just as important.

Other than what Cass and I mentioned, I don't see any major issues. It's a good start. To join the Mandalorian faction and gain access to the armor and weapons I linked, you'll need to post here.

Thank you for the warning. I was going off of the standard weight given by Wookieepedia's Mandalorian Armour page.

No problem. If you have any questions, feel free to send me a PM. In addition to being a profile administrator, I'm also the Mandalorian faction leader, so I can help you on both fronts.
