BIOGRAPHY

Like many of her ancestors, Raz was born and raised amongst the sisters of Dathormir. More specifically, the Bright Sun clan. She was raised as per the traditions of her people; the force came naturally to her and through ritualistic meditation, she began to harness it, like many of her kin, in adolescence. Whilst each clan had its own unique teachings, the fundamental creed was known to all: Never concede to evil. Throughout her life, Raz has held this mantra close to her, in mind, body, and spirit.

Whilst her childhood was atypical of a Dathomirian girl, Raz was notably more reserved than most of her peers, and as she grew older, she grew more curious of the outer worlds beyond her home planet. Every so often, tradesmen and voyagers would arrive in transit, bringing news of happenings and events. Raz was greatly interested in these stories and was always attentive to listen. It fostered in her a desire to travel and soon the calling grew so utterly profound, it compelled her to decide on a rather unorthodox path. Upon reaching adulthood, she petitioned her elder to venture off, beyond the stars where few Dathomirians desired to go. The Force, she believed, was guiding her way.

It served her well, as shortly into her travels, Raz became acquainted with Jedi representatives. She entered herself into the Jedi Order and began her training as a padawan. After a few years of diligence and study, she rose to the rank of Jedi Knight.

Personality

Growing up in a communal society, Raz believes strongly in the power of collaboration. Though still somewhat young herself, she actively seeks to guide and protect those in need, especially the young and vulnerable. Despite being outwardly docile in nature, she is still a warrior of Dathomir and believes strongly in honour and duty. Time amongst the Jedi has allowed her to develop more scholarly pursuits. Raz hungrily devours knowledge and seeks out new experiences to try; despite her growing travels, she is still curious about the galaxies she wanders. Interaction with others often fills her with a sense of contentment. From time to time, she still experiences minute culture shocks, especially if the society is drastically different from that of Dathomir. Still, she tries to keep an open mind.

Skills

Trained from birth, Raz is rather proficient in both hand-to-hand and melee combat. She is no stranger to strenuous labour and has the endurance of a warrior. Nevertheless, the young Jedi Knight is not quick to anger and instead opts for her impressive communicative skills; she is a perceptive listener who seeks solutions to problems. Whilst rather short, she is quick and agile on her feet, her large baggy clothing acting rather deceptively. By no means is Raz technologically gifted; in this area, she would rather lean on the traditional skills of her people, such as hunting, tracking and foraging. As expected of her upbringing, Raz also has an affinity with most animals.
