Today there would be more to add to the reaper's tally. Hozan knew of drugs and stores, trivial items like cheap data pads that the gangsters were selling free of tax at a low price. They had stolen them most likely and were moving them for a fraction of the price and making a high profit. Today the hound of death was going to destroy one of these store houses and deal a serious blow to the Eriadu underworld.

The hybrid was not alone. All through his travels on Eriadu he had been accompanied by the nobleman of the Imperial Republica. The store house itself would be guarded by men and most likely well armed ones to boot. They could either sneak past them and destroy the warehouse with its contents inside or blaze through the defenses and destroy it in a more direct approach.

Hozan was not wearing his full armor, only his light set of marauder garb and robes. His light repeater was in hand which was a bit of a change. The semi-shistavanen usually fought with lightsaber and side arm or the force. But in this instance if they could make it look like gang retaliation and not Imperial acolytes or agents then it could only benefit the Imperial Republica's agenda. Silently he looked over to Eddard wondering how he wanted to proceed.

Well wasn't this going to be fun?

Eddard had decided that he wasn't going to be going into this dressed as a Sith. Being dressed as a Sith was great in some ways and a real pain in the backside other ways. Instead of looking like a Sith, he was dressed in a function-less suit of ranger scout armour that he had managed to get from Imperial Intelligence. Alongside that, he had a A10 Long Blaster to accompany his typical pistol and his two, hidden, lightsabers. He had two frag grenades on the back of the armour's belt.

Looking at the place they were looking to assault, he hummed a little bit.

"They have men throughout." he noted with a frown before glancing at Hozan, "Our objective is to destroy the product rather than the men guarding it, correct?"

He thought about it for a moment longer before nodding once.

"What about this..." he gestured to the building, "I will attempt a forward assault on my own. I'll draw their attention and their fire as a random mercenary or bounty hunter coming after them - you sneak in via the back and actually accomplish the objective. You rig it up, get out and blow it. I pull back when they're distracted by the explosion. Sound good?"

The Sith did not turn away from the guards or the store house ahead. He listened as Eddard spoke beside him before nodding at the end of it. "That plan works for me." Eddard seemed to understand at least basic tactics which unfortunatly was not as common as it should be when it came to other Acolytes and Imperial Agents. But that was what seperated the great from the common.

Like before Hozan would refrain from using any of his obvious Sith weapons. But the light repeater would be loud if he opted to use it. Instead he held it tightly to make sure it did not clink or make noise just like the rest of his equipment. Moving clock wise the Shistavanen and Nalroni hybrid would skirt the guard's line of sight as quickly as he could. He wanted to make sure his point of approach was different than what Eddard would be using. If at least the guards were looking a different direction let along possibly chasing after the human sith then it would certainly give him an advantage.

He had four fragmentation grenades on his belt which once he found an appropriate place inside would do significant damage. There were some over turned crates and a partially destroyed speeder that looked to have been burned in a fire ages ago but had yet to be hauled off by the city for scrap. The position was optimal to say the least. There was practically an opening for him to approach right now. But he still did not want to risk it so he would wait until it was obvious that Eddard had drawn the gangsters' attention.

Eddard nodded to Hozan before he began to move up towards the front of the storehouse. He wasn't going to be caught unprepared either as he was able to find an elevated position facing the front of the storehouse that had a good deal of cover on three sides. He set himself up behind the cover, prepping his blaster rifle and laying his blaster pistol down on the ground behind cover beside his frag grenades so that they would be close at hand and he wouldn't need to waste even a second with drawing them from his belt.

Peering over the cover, he looked over the front of the storehouse and frowned slightly. It wasn't too many but eight men wasn't the smallest number either. Still, with his position and armaments he was confident that he could still do well here. Preparing himself with his rifle resting on the cover for balance, Eddard waited for a moment.

He let the moment pass over him, enjoying the stillness that only he, as the unknown instigator of violence, could feel it. It was with a small smile on his face that he sighted down two men stood talking to each other.

He fired once and the shot itself was quiet but the sound it made when it blasted the man's head apart was not, nor was how his friend screamed to raise the alarm before Eddard fired twice more. The rounds blasted the man's armour before tearing a gaping hole in his chest, leaving him to gasp on the ground in shock. The remaining six guards started the alarm properly and grabbed cover but Eddard was back behind his own so there was still no sign of him.

He would let them think it was just a quick attack before opening fire again, keeping them on edge so that Hozan would have the time to do what he needed.

From cover Hozan was silent in the next few moments. His erect canine ears picking up every sound of activity he could as even his breathing slowed. The sound of some commotion towards the front first registered on his sense but he did not move then. He waited until the two guards and their open back point of entry was completely unguarded before exiting his cover and moving inside. Dashing out of cover and with long clawed strides he made his way to the side of the door.

Now that all of the external guards were moving to one side of the complex he was undetected. But that did not mean anything for the inside. The two acolytes would have had difficulty sensing any internal living beings with the web of life forces around the exterior. But with them for the most party together any outliers on the inside of the building would make it easier. But the commotion and admittedly, Hozan's own inexperience made it difficult to tell the exact number in this situation. His mind found two organic bodies and minds that were feeling a bit of fear but also the primal instinct for defense. Their attentions drawn by the fight going on outside.

The canine hybrid would make his way inside the unlocked door and did so with quiet ease. He was not in a rush or trying to evescerate all inside. He was here to plant the explosives and then depart. On his wrist chrono he set a timer so he would know how long ago he set timers for the different fragmentation grenades. if he set one at one minute and it took him fifteen seconds to plant the next then that one would be forty five seconds.

As the large acolyte moved between aisles of stored product he kept looking for structural weak points or combustable industrial substances. Anything that looked like it would maximize the flames or explosion would help. If the building was sound enough the four grenades would not be enough to destroy it outright and that would mean some of the cached items of the gangsters would be saved from obliteration. But in his movements he knocked over a loose crate lid. It was light and easily brushing it had made it clatter to the ground making the jackal like sith grit his already closed teeth. His ears on a swivel, he quickly looked for a hiding place.

Eddard checked the ammunition remaining on his blaster rifle.

7 shots remaining.

Nothing wrong with that number - some people even said that seven was a lucky number. Even better, he only had six guards left to worry about so it very well could be that he didn't even need all seven of the shots. He doubted it but that was all well and good in his book. He took a deep breath, his shooting spot still unknown to the enemies, before adjusting the sights slightly as one of the last shots had moved to one side a little.

Popping up again, he raised the rifle and sight perhaps a tad too quickly. He fired once, which missed and hit some of the man's cover, alerting all of the guards to his location, before the second shot killed him.

Cursing, he ducked back down behind his cover, already noting the blaster shots coming in his general direction. He touched his com link.

"Hozan - I've got them riled up. Where are you on your end?"

Hopefully far enough along where they could just get moving again.

There was a step, and followed by a long pause. Another step came, but alas another long pause. This all did not take any longer amount of time than normal but for Hozan it seemed to slow. His hand's digits curved, ready to use his natural claws as silent melee weapons if necessary. The heavy steps of the guard stopped just around the corner. They were careful, the guard having heard the comotion outside. No doubt he was on high alert. But he turned, the sound of friction made from his boots as he pivoted away from the Acolyte's hiding spot. Hozan would not let it go to waste. He came around the corner and draged his three largest clawed digits along his throat, splattering the ground in front of the gangster.. He grasped in an attempt to cease the arterial gushing in vain before collapsing onto the concrete. Flicking his red soaked hand Hozan used his other one to quickly silence the communicator as it came in.

"Still searching." He said simply in response and turned the volume even lower. He did not bother moving the body. Instead he kept moving into the store house trying to find a place to plant the explosives. so far there were no obvious signs.

The last guard on the inside stood near the front door to the outside. His hands were white knuckling the grip of his blaster rifle and the soles of his feet lifted and replanted themselves anxiously. It was clear he had no idea of the danger that was already inside. He was too focused on the damage being dealt on the perimeter defenses by Eddard. not unlike the last guard Hozan caused three lacerations along his artery. A sputtering gasp as his life fluid flowed onto the floor. A glint from his waste caught Hozan's eye though. It was a key card. The being knelt down and disconnected the item from the loop it had been hitched to. It looked important. Now he just had to find what it belonged to.

5 shots left and 5 enemies left to deal with.

Only issue he had now was that they knew where he was so it was unlikely that he was going to be able to pop back out and take another shot or two without being lit up like a tree on life day. Cursing, he grabbed up one of the grenades that he had to hand and primed it.

He threw the grenade backwards over the cover and grinned as it exploded - accompanied by the pained death scream of one of the men who had been approaching.

Hoping to capitalise, he grabbed up his blaster rifle and leaned out of cover to take a shot. A blaster bolt scored along the side of the blaster rifle and he had only a split second to throw the rifle from him before it backfired, exploding. He gasped in pain and pulled his helmet off, half of the helmet having been blasted off. He himself was fine, aside from some cuts to the side of his face from the blaster exploding, but other than that he was still good to go.

Still... only 4 enemies left to go.

He hoped Hazon would be quick.

With both internal security guards removed from the equation Hozan had one simple job. At least it seemed simple. In an ideal situation the hybrid would have done so without killing the two guards before the explosion occurred. But not every plan panned out perfectly.

With the key card in hand the Sith moved to the admin room and walked himself inside. He saw several terminals with lit displays. It would seem that whomever had previously been logged in did not seem it important to log out. Armatures He thought to himself as he changed the controls of the pressure and air flow of the heating. The schimatics of the building showed the weakpoints as well as some detonation explosive the gangsters had in stock.

Moving over to the aisle with the explosive material he place it along with one of his grenades in each. They had plenty of detonators so all he needed to do was leave the building. "Leaving the building. Get ready. He warned his cohort though he did not tell him exactly what was going to come next. Hozan made sure he was a safe distance away before triggering the explosive. In a matter of moment the plastic explosives cut through the support structure of the store house and the explosive material caused a sky high bloom. The rest would burn in a manner of minutes. Now they just had to depart the scene.

Well.

Eddard would say that the explosion was exactly what he needed to get a move on and he did it. Pushing himself into motion, Eddard dashed away from his cover and began to jump between buildings, wanting to get himself away from all the fire that had been heaped on him. It was only as he was running that Eddard realised he had left his grenades and blasters behind. He still had his hidden lightsabers but the whole point of them was that they were supposed to be hidden!

Still, he was making good his escape and it seemed that none of the enemy were actually coming after him. Either they didn't have the will to do so or what, he didn't know, but he was making good on his escape and that was all that mattered to him right now. He touched his com.

"Hozan - I'm exiting the hot spot." he confirmed with his ally, "Good call on that explosion."

Saved him some pain he was sure.

Hozan was out of sight before the last bit of debris fell back down from the sky and was glad that Eddard was making a good get away in his own manner. He appreciated the compliment as well. Their actions would put a dent in the underworld and keep the local riffraff from bothering their agenda for a while. The two acolytes would make their own ways back to their ships since they were evacuating the scene from different points. Hozan would double back and make sure he was not being followed but the two would make it away safely.
