"And you are," Cassian rallied, a single pink hand placed on Brentioch's shoulder to offer encouragement. "You might have only adopted two Firrerre children, but through your continual work with ISCRA you have helped all of them. Every single man, woman, and child that lost their homes and livelihoods at the hands of the Sith. You were that helping hand that reached out to them and pulled them out of the fire and the rubble. Your work is admirable. You are admirable."
Cassian tilted his head to one side, leaning closer to the Aide. "Don't forget that. And don't let the words of a bitter, aging harpy drag you down either." He flashed Brentioch a playful smile and continued to walk.
"Speaking of your employer, I'm relieved to discover that we are in agreement in our assessment of her character. I'd hate for Sybil Lassiter to come between a blossoming friendship," he chuckled, of course referring to Brentioch and himself. "I wasn't sure what to expect of her personal aide, but the two of you are nothing alike. I'm pleased to see it. Visiting with you has been a pleasant experience, and you can be assured that I'll sing your praises to your employer whenever I encounter her next."
The pair came to a stop some distance from the school. Their tour of the refugee camp had come to a close, but it had been a memorable afternoon. If Cassian didn't have prior commitments, he might have sought to stay longer. Thyferra was quiet and out of the way. No reporters and no other politicians. Almost relaxing. "I'm afraid I have prior commitments that I must attend to. I can't thank you enough, Tristodd— May I call you Tristrodd?" The Zeltron extended a hand to the ISC Aide. A firm, parting handshake.
"I look forward to supporting the work of ISCRA. If you ever need more financial support or support not of a fiscal nature, be sure to contact me. ISCRA can count on Onderon for anything."
Cassian would take the offer one step further. "I'm sure that familial connections keep you tied down to Brentaal. However, if you ever desire a change of scenery— if you're ever in need of a job, don't hesitate to reach out. You have my contact info now, so hit me up sometime. We could grab a drink or something."
Offering the Senatorial Aide one last smile, Cassian added, "Without your boss. Our paths are sure to cross again, and I, for one, am looking forward to it. Until we meet again, Tristodd."
