Function: Recording Device
  • The recorder, usually located in the helmet, is a device that records visual & audio content for up to 6 hours. It has to be (explicitly) activated by the user manually to be active. It is also to be integrated into the armor's HUD (if a HUD function(s) exist) and recording from it. This recorded data can be transferred to a data storage device or terminal as well after the desired content is captured. A small thumb sized data drive holds the data and can be removed, overwritten or replaced at the whim of the user.
    Force User Compatible?: No

i don't see why a Force User can't use this? it seems to be on par with other functions that are useable by force users.
I understand your concern. My thought process is that this function is easily concealable and mostly because this can give a huge story advantage even if it doesn’t have any pvp value. (As shown in the timeline, recording footage very convenient can be a game changer) You really can’t say the same about the other FU compatible functions. There are alternatives to this that FUs can use, like that Czerka headset that’s out there. It is more obvious though.

I’ll mull over this more
