Aldracu looked towards her, staring strangly yet calmly into her eyes. "I am here to learn, and i wish for you to only teach, for i do not think i could cope with any more than that."
"I am not your only teacher," said Amaterasu, feeling a bit hurt by the way her padawan phrased his latest comment.
Giving a sigh, she looks back towards the scenery, as the sun reaches its apex of the day. "I do not believe I am teaching you as well as I expect of myself..."
Sensing the slight sadness inflicted upon her by his words he looked back towards the roof. "I understand that you are not just my teacher, and you are teaching me greatly. but considering the way i feel, it would be easier if i was only to learn."
"From a point of view," answered Amaterasu, "the ancient teachings of the Jedi have been around for a long time for a reason. It is wise to pay attention to them, and to listen to the Force itself. Ask the Force, and it will surely answer."
"And after that i will proberbly head down and get some dinner." Aldracu stood up, lifting his hood and reforming his robes around him in one single sweep of his arm. He walked over the the edge of the roof and lightly jumped down towards the dusty, paved floor.
Amaterasu approached the edge of the roof, taking one last look over towards the setting sun to savor the beauty of Ossus before leaping down to the ground, following after the padawan.
In the cafeteria, there were no real "seats" - the Jedi merely sat upon the ground to eat their daily meals.
Aldracu collected his dinner and walked towards a secluded corner of the cafeteria, sitting upon the ground he placed his small bowl upon one of the short wooden tables.
((Oh, woops. Sorry, I forgot about this for a "moment"))
Amaterasu merely walked towards the table, using the Force to pour tea into a small tea cup and lifted over towards her. The knight lowered herself to the lowly elevated table, setting the china upon it. "To be curious, what do you plan to do later on, when you rise to knighthood?"
"Think about this tonight, then," replied Amaterasu, sipping her tea. "One who does not know where he is walking will be surprised by the road that was unconsciously taken."
Aldracu stabbed into a meat-like substance with his fork. "Surprise is the one thing that i hold onto, its what keeps my insecurity and insanity at bay. It is the only thing that makes me think that i actully have a future in this galaxy." He took a bite from the meat and placed it back onto the plate.
"I would not say that it is the only thing that shows a future: the Jedi are respected by most of the galactic population. A Jedi lives for the galactic population."
"I hope you will do so well. Today's times are... unprecedented," said Amaterasu, sipping her tea in the middle of her sentence.
"You may spend the rest of your time as you wish. I will be in my chambers."
The young knight finished her tea, levitating it back to the counter before exiting the cafeteria. As she left, she gave a slight smile to Aldracu (if he watches her exit, that is).
