Hey there, fellow people of the Republic. Due to how the Sith have declared their invasion on Onderon, I have started a thread along with Outlander where we are setting up defences for the invasion. I am bloody confused.

Eli asked for us to help in the defense of Zeltros, so I assumed the Jedi and Republic are helping eachother. Why would Jedi be helping on Zeltros and not Onderon?

Nothing to say you can't help.

However, there's not an official alliance yet between the two. Jedi can be on the planet all they want considering that it was announced via Sith that they were attacking there and the Jedi mission is to defend against the Sith.

The Jedi and the Republic are allied, in the sense that they provide and offer mutual aid to one another.

That alliance is not yet formalised, but from an IC perspective it is the official stance of the Republic Government to seek a formal alliance, and the Republic is actively seeking to speed up that process unhindered (given that the GAR is basically acting as military allies with the Jedi anyway).

I was attempting to explain there wasn't an official IC alliance. In fact, I said there were multiple reasons for Jedi to be there without using the assumption that there was an official alliance.

The point was that at this moment, when Onderon is occurring, there is no alliance, so ICly, so it's not metagaming or powerplaying or what the other else it could be, Jedi, should probably have another reason to be there BESIDES the as of YET created alliance.

I know there's an alliance in the works. I never said it wasn't happening.

My senator is currently speaking with a 600 year old Jedi who has a lot of experience. I've seen that Jedi are willing to help which I have no problem with.
