Coruscant

Admittingly, this was probably one of her least greatest ideas, but it seemed the safest option to earn some quick credits. A private collector was paying out for someone to pick up their trinket, which was clearly bait because as Ottilie received more details, the manner in which she would pick it up was, unsavory. A perk for her to know if she had the object would be her sensitivity to the Force; he called it an unusual kyber crystal and the temptation to run off to bleed it for her own saber one day was alluring. However, knowing now that a red blade would get her killed faster than anything, credits were more her concern. A girl needed to eat after all!

She had hoped getting away from the Imperials would bring her some relief, the constant worry about being under suspicion by the Imperials without allies to band with made her uneasy. Their knights were watching for any sign of sith along with jedi, and the ISC, leaving them to having to underground and back into the shadows. As a sith she was being prepared for a life of isolation, but was she still a sith? She had no teacher, she hid her powers, and there wasn't a chance in all the Corellian hells that she could form her own sith order at this point.

The girl rubbed her temples, chasing out thoughts that dragged into theoretical questioning of her purpose and future. Right now she needed to focus on her job, her attention hardening as she focused on all the passing peoples at the station; moving from shuttle to shuttle, stopping in shops, meeting up with friends or family, it was hard to keep one's attention without getting lost and blinded from the constant streams of stimuli. Though, her focus would come, inhaling and breathing out slowly as she looked for her guy to begin trailing.

How unfortunate. Wu-Ming had just finished collecting three bled kyber crystals from three dead Sith. When the Ex-Jedi heard of another kyber crystal floating around in the hands of an alleged nobody, Wu-Ming went on the hunt. This departure brought him to Coruscant and the city scape was as crammed as ever. Wearing his helmet seemed to be drawing stares, so he took it off, using his cowl to cover the lower half of his face. Was this guy a Sith? Or just someone who got lucky?

Faen Akatosh left the Jedi behind, but that didn't mean he wasn't capable of doing good. As Wu-Ming, Faen was no longer held back by the tedious rules the Order had in place. However, the thought of exposing two Padawans to the Dark Side still lingered, the guilt pressing against him like ten daggers piercing his back. That wasn't good, and he was a Jedi then. Now? He was really no more than a nobody. Wu-Ming quite literally translated to 'Nameless'. There was something beneficial in the way he could hunt Sith without being confined by the Order, but common law still had to be followed where it was implemented. Wu-Ming would do his best.

The Force would guide Faen as it always had- but that Ring still lingered in his mind. It's whispers brought conflicting ideas to the mind of the Once-Jedi. He couldn't wrap his brain around how it still communicated with him- wouldn't the Council have destroyed it? Or were they unable hypocrites?

"Get out of my way." Faen muttered, pushing aside mingling group of people who were blocking the way. Once he claimed a spot under a streetlight. He was doing his best to conceal his presence in case there were others out there who were also attune with the Force. There wasn't time for Jedi-Missionaries trying to convince Faen to come back. All the while, scanning the crowds for any sign of a kyber crystal wasn't easy. Perhaps it's trace would light up like a small beacon when it was near.

Jayna was rather eager to be back on Coruscant for a few days. Unlike her twin brother, most of her education took place on Naboo - with numerous internships and junior legislative programs that took her across Consortium and Republic space. Nevertheless, while she didn’t spend much time on the Galactic Capital, Jayna was plenty familiar with its high society scene. A private collection was being showcased in only a few hours, and it was more than enough motivation for Jayna to arrive on the planet.

As per usual, the heiress was dressed stylishly - sporting a dark jacket pulled over a white blouse, jeans and designer belt. Her black hair was loosely styled down past her shoulder, while her arms were adorned with some bracelets and a chrono. She’d already managed to slip her security detail - though they were in close enough proximity if necessary.

For the moment, the heiress was casually seated outside a cafe - sipping from a cup of espresso on a saucer. There was small bowl of fruit nestled beside it that was already mostly gone, having been ordered some time ago. Jayna allowed her gaze to casually wander the crowd - still having very hours to burn before she had anywhere to go.

The girl's burner comm beeped and she pulled up the message from her temporary employer who wanted to know if she had it yet. The darked haired teen narrowed her brow and begun to type a reply, but decided against it. Just as she was about to slip the comm back into her pocket, it buzzed again, this time a message from the same individual giving her a timeframe before the private collection showing was to begin (@Altaris). A baffled look on her face stayed a little longer than she had wanted, the terms have changed and she would therefore change the price if he wanted it, only after she got the crystal.

Ottilie pushed off the wall with her shoulder, lazily getting to work; she was looking for a short bith, he would be carrying the cargo discretely in his gym bag as he got off the number four train. She checked the times on the holoboard, shoving her hands into her pockets as she walked along the second floor that over looked the boarding platform; watching from the railing, she was entirely bored of waiting for the delayed train. Minutes felt like hours until the crowds started to cluster together below as the number 4 train arrived. Her senses reached outward, feeling the ripples of the ebb and flow of the Force, before grasping to the chord that would guide her on the hunt for the undersized bith.

She would turn and start walking, closer to the loading platform with civilians were boarding and exiting the train until she saw him, the bith, unphased by the danger that lurked nearby. If she could get away without harming him, she would prefer, she didn't need an additional bounty on her head over petty theft. So for now, she followed, until there was an option to strike.

A train came to a halt and a small tendril of the Force drew Faen's attention to it. This was it- he could feel it. But who had the crystal? After a quick self-debate, Faen decided to sacrifice his concentration on hiding his presence to focus on the presence of the kyber crystal. It didn't belong to him. It never would. It didn't take long for the Ex-Jedi to find the source- a miniature Bith possessed such a thing. How did the little punk get their grubby little hands on a kyber crystal? Well, because Faen found his mark, he began covering up his presence, though if any Force user paid attention, they'd figure out who it was.

After placing his helmet back on his face, Faen moved in on the target, weaving through the crowds of clueless civilians. The Bith only had two options; Give the crystal over without resistance, or, give the crystal over and suffer for his insolence. It was times like these that Faen wished he could bring Boy along with him, but the Massiff didn't recognize who his master had become. Guilt swelled in his stomach at the thought of his greatest companion, so he shoved it away and focused on the task at hand.

"Don't make this difficult..." Faen muttered under his breath, stalking closer and closer upon his unassuming prey. Please, don't make this difficult.

It didn’t take more than a few minutes for Jayna to finish her espresso - neatly stacking the cup, bowl and saucer on the center of the table. The quarter-Sephi had largely opted to relax until the Collection was scheduled to a viewed, enjoying the decent weather that shone down on the upper levels of Coruscant. It was nothing compared to the idyllic climate of Naboo or even the tropical paradise that was her home on Thyferra - but it certainly wasn’t unpleasant by any stretch of the imagination.

She briefly glanced down to her NalPhone, checking off a few items on her to-do list. With her check paid and a hefty tip left behind, the heiress rose up from her seat - gradually starting to make her way along. She just so happened to be moving in the direction of the Bith - largely unaware of the man’s significance or the two weird-asses that were stalking him in broad daylight.

The man wasn't relevant to Jayna - and it meant she had little reason to pay him much attention whatsoever.
