Tatooine/Mos Eisley
13:00 local time

The Hurricane was back in its usual hangar with a new companion in the hangar right next to it. They got away pretty easily and Hask had managed to sort the XR-1200fp out and wiped it clean. As far as anyone was concerned, he simply got himself a nice new ship without any funny business. The cargo they swiped from Cloud City also turned over a very handsome price which allowed both him and Arial some freedom. Especially for her.

Right now Hask was sitting on the Hurricane in his room. A song played softly in the background as he sat by his desk, fixing up his mechanical arm that was laid out in front of him. He had gotten an idea for a few extra credits for him and Arial. It was actually a bit nostalgic for him. This is the exact same job he and Aurie pulled off when they first met. He just hoped that the convoy was still as oblivious as they were last time.

When he was finally done fixing his arm up he locked it back into the socket in his shoulder and rolled it around a few times. He couldn't wait to get a new arm. He picked up his jacket and roamed around the ship, looking for Arial.

When he finally found her he crossed his arms and gave a smirk. "I've gotten word of another job we can pull off. It's one I did a couple years ago. Easy, quick, pays good. You in?" he asked her cheerfully.

Arial was on her bed, her three holopads where scattered across the bed, each one with a different display up. A small holoprojector was displaying several news feeds on the far side of the wall, as the former agent was idly glancing up at the display, before inputting some information that caught her eye. Her A-10 blaster rifle sat neatly lined against the corner of her room, and her blaster rifle was neatly stowed away in her footlocket. Her blaster pistol was kept within reach on a nightstand, all the while she kept up her note taking, trying to catch up on as much as possible. She supposed it was the agent in her that was possessive of knowledge, craving it only to file it away until it was to serve a purpose at a later date. It was an unhealthy obsession, she couldn't deny that, but it was part of her, and therefore worth keeping up with.

As Hask would enter her room, he'd find her relaxed stomach down on the bed, her bare feet swinging above her head. Arial's eyes snapped towards Hask, as she paused what she was doing. "I know that look, what kind of trouble are you getting into today Hask?" Arial asked, setting her holopad down with the others. Hearing the offer be laid out to her, Arial shrugged her shoulders and went to get up. "I'm in, just let me throw some boots on and I'll be right as rain." She said, reaching out for her pistol, before moving to secure a pair of socks for herself.

Hask's smirk didn't falter as he stood in the doorway. He leaned against the doorframe before continuing. "Nothing too difficult. Czerka runs a convoy through a canyon every now and then with different stuff. Speeders, ammo, supplies, all that jazz. We simply wait them in and hijack the shipment. We'll be in and out before they realized what happened." he explained to her. She agreed to it, giving her a nod in response. "No rush. We need the Hurricane anyway for the storage space. It'll just make things easier." he explained to her before walking to the cockpit.

The crew got to their stations and soon enough the Hurricane was off. Hask quickly worked the coordinates into the navicomputor and flew the ship towards their destination. Just like last time it was a small canyon with a big clearing behind it. All they had to do was hijack the convoy and drive it out of the canyon back to the Hurricane. If all else fails they just carry the cargo off with the tractor beams.

Hask shut the ship down and went back to his room to gear up. Once he was ready he waited for Arial by the ramp. "Usually they stop here to take a break. After here is another spot that's a little close to Mos Eisley for my liking so our best shot is to get the stuff here. If it's anything like last time it shouldn't be more than six or so soldiers. Once they stop we knock them out and steal the truck." he explained his plan to her as they walked to the edge of the canyon. In the distance he could see a cloud of dust getting closer.

He looked at Arial again. "You ready?"

"Oh, good. Can't stand Czerka. Wouldn't mind taking their stuff out." Arial said, sliding on her boots and sliding her blaster pistol into her holster. Arial was all too familiar with Czerka, they were rich jackasses with more wealth than most planets; not to mention they were amoral as hell. "Guessing we're weapons free this time right?" She asked, as she laced up her boots, before grabbing her A-10. "I mean, it's Czerka. Most of their people are guilty of some crime or another." As Hask left to go to the cockpit, Arial checked her armor, before deciding against donning it; Tatooine was far too far to be running around in that combat suit; besides, she'd be staying as far away as possible with her rifle.

Having done all this, Arial went and secured herself some water for braving the desert sun. Meeting Hask by the ramp, Arial had her rifle slugged over her shoulder. "What's their convoy consist of? Hopefully nothing more than a personal carrier correct?" Given Hask's response, it sounded like he didn't want unnecessary deaths; which while annoying, was something she could work on. She kept in pace with him as she could see the cloud of dust kicking up in the distance. This was going to be fun. Arial checked through her scope at the approaching convoy, trying to get a read on their numbers. "Oh yea, that's a convoy alright." Lowering the rifle, she glanced to her red skinned friend. "I can hit them from here, but I'm guessing you want them to be closer, yes?" Arial asked, as she set herself into a kneeling position, not raising her rifle this time though; after all, if they caught the glare of the lenses, they might have thier guard raised as they came closer.

"Last time it consisted of a speeder truck hauling eight brand new Ranger speeders with probably three guys to watch it. That cloud is a lot bigger than last time, though." he explained with a shrug, watching the cloud getting closer. He took a knee to lower his silhouette and it seemed Arial had the same idea. Looking through her scope, she confirmed that it was an entire convoy.

The convoy in question was a step up to say the least. The truck hauling 8 Rangers was still present, but this time there was a Technical tailing it closely with 2 Rangers flanking the convoy as well. The soldiers also looked a lot better armoured than the last time. "Yeah let them get close. Spooking them now will be a disaster. I want to get them into a nice killbox...though it doesn't look like they will be stopping." he commented. He tapped his lip with a finger in thought, looking the terrain and convoy over.

An idea finally came to him. "I can create a roadblock for us. Then we box them in and close off the rear as well. Then I can move in to put them down up close while you give overwatch cover." he explained, giving her a quick look before focusing on the convoy again. He closed his eyes and focused the force, then held out both hands. In the canyon the walls were starting to rumble and crack. He opened his eyes again and then let go, stopping just before a rockfall could start. "Now we just wait for them then collapse the canyon before they can get through." he said with a smirk.

"Got it, shouldn't be too hard." Arial muttered, trying to recall the last time she fired an A-10 that wasn't on a firing range. She didn't doubt her skills with it, not at all, but she was curious how she'd preform this time around. "You do realize you never rob the same bank twice right? Ever heard that saying?" She asked Hask, lowering her rifle as she raised her eyebrow at him. She frankly didn't care, this was Hask she was talking about, plans were bound to go south. Seeing that he had made a roadblock on the road below, she took comfort in that the coming fight wouldn't be too difficult; half the work was already done. Readying herself, Arial braced her rifle into her shoulder, preparing herself to fire down at the convoy.

Watching as the vehicles closed in closer, navigating into the cannon, she looked to Hask, before raising her rifle. Once the rock slide had commenced, Arial would fire several shots at the rear speeder, striking the driver in the chest, and ensuring that the rest of the convoy wouldn't be able to withdraw. Now they could get down to the good stuff.

Hask eyed her for a second. "You'd be surprised over how dumb those banks can be." he said with a sarcastic look. This was definitely the old Arial. Looking at the rifle in her hand he saw an opportunity to get back at her. "I just hope you still know how to use a gun" he quipped with a smug grin.

The convoy got closer. Once they were in range Hask grabbed hold of the wall of stone again and brought it down, closing off the pass. The convoy came to a hard stop, but before they could even think of reversing Arial took out the driver of the Technical and boxed them in. They were entirely lost over what was going on. With a smirk Hask leapt down the canyon without a hint of hesitation, free-falling the long drop down. He held his hands out and slowed his descent until he landed in the middle of the convoy in a kneeling position. He looked up at a very surprised soldier before a lightsaber ignited in his left hand. A blaster shot came at him but it was expertly deflected. He lunged and worked towards the rear, executing the other passengers in the Technical.

He turned to pursue the trooper running from his bike...but froze up as he stared down 5 or 6 troopers all armed with rifles, aimed at him.

"Oh kriff." he commented simply as his second lightsaber snapped into his hand, igniting the amber blade.

This just got interesting...

Arial scowled at Hask's comment, but she knew he was just screwing with her. "And I hope that all that weight you put on doesn't affect your lightsaber skills." She shot back, enjoying the small game of words that they exchanged. Hopefully Hask didn't take offense, but knowing him he'd just shrug it off.

With the convoy coming to a stop, Arial straightened up, turning her blaster towards the remaining men as they rose to attack. Hask leapt down, drawing his lightsaber as he did so. Even from here however, she could see him withdrew another saber as the numbers were clearly against him. Seeing her friend was at odds with the men below, Arial cycled back through her power cell, and took aim at the rear guard and squeezed off a shot. The blast struck him in the right breastplate, sending him toppling backwards and off the side of the speeder, drawing the attention of two other soldiers, who began firing up at the former agent, forcing her to duck back into cover on the top of the canyon. Switching to her blaster rifle, Arial clipped her grappling hook onto the surface, before rolling back into the fray. She squeezed off three bursts towards the soldiers below, striking both, in the chest and leg, before being nicked in the side by a bolt too close to comfort, which sent onto her back; her flight jacket torn to bits, as well as part of her clothing. She felt some pain coursing through her side, but it didn't feel anything serious. Hask would have to face the rest of the convoy on his own, though that shouldn't be a problem for him.

Before they could fire, a stream of bolts rained down on them. some fell as the shots hit their armour, others scattered. Overall Arial did a fantastic job of getting the attention off Hask, but in turn the soldiers opened fire on her. Hask jumped into action.

With the soldiers confused and scattered, almost no attention was paid to the Sith hurling at them. One turned to fire at him, but he got slashed across the chest and soon enough a second fell to Hask's blade. His focus was to get the attention off Arial, since she's the most vulnerable between the two of them. Thankfully it seemed to work quite well because now the gunfire was directed at him again. But at this range they didn't stand a chance.

First he went for the weapons, slicing them in half or yanking them out of people's hands. Then he went for the kill. Pretty soon only 3 soldiers remained, trying to get over the wall of stone to escape the killing machine. "Oh no you don't." he said with an evil smirk. He wrapped the force around the mand yanked them back into the kill box. He then holstered his lightsabers and drew the force into his hands, before letting loose with an enormous wall of fire. The fire roared out of both his hands and drowned the three men out. They screamed as they were torched alive, but Hask didn't let up. It didn't take long before they were all three on the ground, smoldering corpses no longer fit to even be called humans. Hask drew a deep breath, trying to calm himself, before taking out his commlink. "Arial, convoy is ours. I'll bring it up to the ship, stay up there." he radioed to her. A small part of him wanted to keep her away to not let her see the destruction. But there was no hiding it. She could see it, she could smell it. The thought most probably came from his time with Aurie. He would never do something like this then let her see...

With a powerful push he cleared the way then seated himself in the driver seat of the truck. He revved it up then drove it out of the canyon, up a route, and stopped beside the Hurricane's open ramp. "Let's get these loaded up." he said flatly to Arial as he got out of the truck.

As Arial gunned down the last of her targets, she found Hask had already killed his targets, in rather efficient fashion. "Damn Hask doesn't mess around." She muttered, almost sounding impressed. Clearly he hadn't been slacking in the past few years. The smell of burning flesh hit her nose, causing her to scrunch her nose in disgust. Seeing that everything was clear, she put her weapons into their respective positions and rappelled down the side to where Hask was awaiting her. Retrieving the line, Arial hopped into the follow speeder and followed Hask, her thoughts bouncing from the stinging sensation in her hip, to Hask's little slaughter spree, to how she had gone from being an Imperial Agent to something akin to a pirate. Life was truly chaotic. Rounding the bend, she parted herself beside Hask's truck, getting out and joining the Sith as they would being loading up their stolen goods. "Well Hask, I was wrong. Clearly you aren't totally incompetent." She joked, before throwing herself back into the works.

Arial joked but he didn't laugh. Instead a low growl resounded for a second as an acknowledgement of sorts before going quiet again. If Arial paid attention, she would notice a sickly yellow in his eyes instead of the usual happy golden gaze he had. Thankfully it slowly dissipated and the gold returned as he worked on releasing the speeders and pushing them into the cargo hold of the Hurricane. The entire time he remained quiet and hard, not speaking unless it was to explain something to one of his crew members. As they made progress he started to lighten up.By the time they were done he leaned against the wall of the hold and released a deep sigh of relief. He looked at Arial again and gave her a small smile.

"Glad that's over with. Turned out a lot messier than I had hoped." he said calmly with a shrug. He motioned for her to get in the ship before pressing the button to close it up. He made his way towards the cockpit, shooing a crewmember out of the co-pilot's seat for Arial to join him. "Alright. Now off to Mos Espa. My contact is there to sell these speeders. And if he crosses me today he won't be going home in one piece." he said with a slow shake of the head.

"If you want to keep one of those speeders for yourself feel free. We still have enough to make a good profit not to mention those Rangers are a dream to ride." he said in a more cheerful tone, casting a quick glance at Arial as he worked on getting the ship in the air.

Arial took notice of that, as she dropped all pretense of jesting with Hask; clearly he was focused on his job, which she respected. Focusing on working to secure the cargo. She wasn’t exactly used to this sort of work, but it wasn’t exactly mind wracking stuff. Having finished the job, she joined Hask on the ramp, as they were wrapping up. “Could have been worse.” She muttered, rubbing the burnt away portion of her jacket. “I’ll have to get a new jacket, but I’ll live. Have some minor burns, but that’ll go away in time.” She said with some assurance, before stowing her weapons away.

She would meet in the cockpit with her Sith friend, sitting down in the now vacant chair, she looked over the instruments, half bored as they began to lift off. Hask asked if she wanted to keep a speeder, but Arial wasn’t too sure about it. “Are you sure? I don’t want to cut into your profits. You’ve done a lot for me already.” She said, folding her arms across her chest. “I mean, you’ve been practically paying for everything. It doesn’t feel right.” As useful as the speeders would be, it felt unfair to deprive Hask of his profits like that. “I’ll have to pass, but thank you for the offer.” She said after a moment, smiling to Hask.

Hask flashed a grin. "Oh sure, don't worry. We'll be making more than enough with the seven we have. Plus those things always come in handy. Take my word for it. They're amazing speeders." he explained to her. She went on to explain that she felt bad for him paying for everything, for helping her out. "Hey, you need a way to get back in the swing of things. If I don't help, no one will. Don't feel bad, you can pay me back later." he assured with a laugh. In truth he was simply helping a friend out. Wit how few was still alive he needed to preserve the friendships he had left.

With everything set he started the ship up and soon enough they were in the air again. He angled the ship right then accelerated off to Mos Espa to unload the speeders. With that finally done they had their paycheque.

Now all they had to do was find a way to waste that money...
