Kyp the Mandalorian was scowling underneath his helmet. He never really cared much for the Pykes and to be on the homeworld in the heart of the Pyke Syndicate's base of operations made his fur stand up on edge. They were tricky beings and had often stiffed Kyp for credits when he'd done the occasional job for them. The only reason he was here was because, as much as he might despise most everyone in the galaxy, he had a soft spot in his heart for his fellow Mandalorains. They had been there when no one else was and it was only the request of a fellow Mandalorian that brought him here today.

Taldorak wasn't from Clan Vizsla but he was Mando and, these days, clan rivalries and wars had given way to unification. So, Kyp had accepted the invitation to come down here and kick some heads. He didn't quite know why Taldorak so desperately wanted to pick a fight with some Pykes but his years as a mercenary made him comfortable with keeping quiet and not asking too many questions. He waited at the predetermined meeting spot outside an abandoned warehouse in the heart of Oba Diah's major cities, drawing more than a couple stares from the mostly Pyke population.

He wouldn't have to wait long. Taldorak would arrive, clad in his main look and gear set, Rayna slung across his torso and one gauntlet tapping away at the carbine. "Kyp, been awhile." the Enforcer would say with a light tone. "So.. glad you can make it." he looked around, his reputation giving him some freedom to roam. "So, how much you want to know? I'm sure you don't want to be here as much as me."

His visor would scan their surroundings. The benefit of Mandalorians not really being on talking terms, was many of his kind didn't know he was ousted from his Clan. Though he had never claimed to be of his Clan, but none never really asked. And from what he remembered, Kyp was from a rival Clan, albeit an ancient rival Clan. Regardless, this would likely be about the money to his fellow Mandalorian, and truthfully, Tal couldn't blame him, the Pykes and anything they owned, were osik.

"Look, I don't need to know anything you don't want me to. You're looking to snag a few Pykes alive, yeah?" Kyp asked, readying his blaster rifle and inspecting it; making sure it was chock full of ammo and up to the task at hand. Since recovering from the injuries the Jedi had inflicted upon him, Kyp had been itching for a fight and the Pykes were as good a target as any to unleash his wrath upon.

"This is a "set to stun" kind of mission?" the Lepi asked.

"This is a... 'convince them to join or resort to plan b' kind of mission. We go to the fringes of the city and get some of the lower crust to join. People that won't be missed." Tal said as he started to walk in that direction. "Killing them is a last resort, we're trying to collect some, not kick off a gang war."

As they walked past a few Pykes, he'd wave them off. "Kad these vermin piss me off." he'd say with a laugh. "What are you doing these days? Clan osik? Or just trying to make ends meet?"

"I pitch in where I can to help Vizsla. But I've always been more at home in my ship wandering and taking merc jobs. Helps keep me away from people." Kyp replied back before they reached their destination; a Pyke stronghold that currently had two Pyke guardsmen standing watch outside. Kyp nodded inquisitively towards Taldorak as if to ask would these two do?

"Well, I'm putting together a crew, if that interests you. Keeps you operational, yet protected by my reputation. And gives you access to support thats likely in-system should osik go sideways." Tal said as they walked.

Reaching the outpost, he would almost laugh. Guards was a loose term. Both looked rather young and as they raised their weapons at the pair, one of their arms were shaking. Tal would glance at his fellow Mandalorian and nod subtly. His gaze would shift back to the Pykes. "Lower the toys before someone gets hurt. I'm here not only to recruit, but help you guys strike back."

The guards looked to each other and Shaky would speak. "Uhh uhh fine. But.. strike back at w-who?"

This one was perfect, he'd probably die of a heart attack with luck. "The Sith. Get you boys some reputation, some respect."

"Well..." the other one would speak up. "That wouldn't be s-so bad?"

"They must have heard about the bar fight! We're on our way up!" the other Pyke eagerly told his buddy. Kyp could not believe how easy this was.

The Lepi merc wanted to roll his eye. To think these fools actually thought Mandalorians would have handpicked them for their prowess in combat rather than just the nature of them being Pyke. He'd seen their type before; loud and boisterous thugs who wanted to quickly rise through the ranks of the underworld without having any of the skill or drive necessary to do so. Even if he wasn't being paid to do it, he would have happily clapped their heads together.

"It's just that we're muscling for Ghann right now. He might not be cool with us going with you on the job. Could you clear it with him first?" the more nervous of the two asked. A dark sounding chuckle sounded off from underneath Kyp's gold helmet. He raised his rifle and looked at Taldorak.

"I think we could arrange that." Kyp said, slapping a clip into his gun. From the looks of this warehouse, this Ghann fellow was definitely a small timer; dealing arms or spice most likely. With the lax security, run-down accomodations, and the general atmosphere, Kyp was willing to bet that this Ghann fellow wasn't even connected to the Pyke Syndicates. If he was hiring these two clans, he was probably just as much of a wannabe gangster as they were. Not waiting for Tal, Kyp, busted through the doors of the warehouse.

Inside was what looked very much like an illegal arms dealing operation, albeit a small-time one. There was a couple of thugs handling merchandise from a hovertruck; rifles, pistols, turrets, grenades and the like. A supervisor - Kyp guessed what passed for a lieutenant in this ramshackle operation - oversaw them while an older figure who looked to be in charge counted a large stack of credits in the corner. Wanting at least somewhat of an entertaining fight, Kyp cleared his throat when he entered to get their attention before nailing the lieutenant in the head with a well-placed shot from his rifle.

Kyp downed one of the thugs easily before being forced to find cover behind a stack of crates to focus on dealing with the other. The leader of the operation, Ghann, grabbed as much money as he could and sprinted towards the door that Kyp had come in from.

Tal would nod to the kids. "Oh yeah, we got this. Observe." he'd say as his Lepi companion burst through, guns blazing. The fact of how unprepared any of these guys were, was a testament that they were small time. Tal would even wait a little bit, let his fellow Mandalorian do some damage, he even leaned against the frame of the door, on the exterior of course.

He didn't move until he heard footsteps. Greedy footsteps. "You boys may want to duck." They did. Tal would straighten his stance and draw his peacekeeper, lifting it to about head height and squeezed the trigger. Ghann never saw the bolt coming. The old greedy bastard just saw the light of day and freedom until Tal put a bolt into his head. Blood would spray where the two kids were before and as the body hit the deck, Tal would fire a few more bolts into the corpse for good measure. "Alright. You kids work for me now." he'd say before he crouched to grab Ghann by the neck and drag him through the door into the warehouse.

"Alright! Your boss is dead! You can either work for me, or my companion here can kill you before you reach the only exit out of the building! Your choice!" he'd say as he lifted Ghann up in front of him.

Kyp finished up with the one gunman left, pegging him twice in the leg and once in the chest. Still alive, Kyp made his way over to the unfortunate Pyke and hammered his shock-glove-enhanced fists into his head to finish him off. The two Pykes that Taldorak and Kyp were trying to recruit looked agape as Tal led them into the warehouse and they saw Kyp's rampage.

"Good news. Just checked with your boss and he's cool with you guys working with us." Kyp joked darkly. The bolder Pyke looked impressed at this while his buddy just looked stunned.

"Wow mister. You two took them all down in like thirty seconds!" the Pyke said excitedly. Kyp didn't respond, finding the young Pyke annoying. Instead, he made his way over to Tal.

"These two work?" the Lepi asked. If it was, this was one of his favorite type of jobs; quick, easy and heavy amounts of drinking.

Tal would laugh at Kyps joke. "Good one. Shit brain one and two grab the hover truck and get the goods to my ship." As they ran off to do their new bosses bidding, he'd glance back at Kyp. "They'll work." he'd say before he walked over to Ghann and crouched, removing the sack of creds and tossing it to Kyp. "Your bonus. And there's more to that if you want to come on full time."

As the hovertruck roared to life and the pair of idiots headed their way, he'd look to the Lepi. "And if not, drinks are still on me."
