Grid Coordinates I-8, in the Roxuli Asteroids...

Triter Zonne opened his eyes slowly, the ping of his tiny ship's reversion notice alarm beeping insistently.
"...karkin' ship interrupting a good night's rest... mmh, hm?"
The young Amaran clawed his way back to consciousness, shaking his head, his broad ears flapping slightly as he did so. Through the canopy overhead, he was illuminated by the blue tunnel of hyperspace, which swirled around the ship.
He groped for the alarm, and turned it off. Reaching behind him into the middle seat of the three-seat cockpit, he removed a can from a bag, pulling a tab and balancing it on the arm of his seat as its self-heating element began to warm the caf within to a palatable temperature.
After it had heated, Triter picked up the can, took a sip, and lowered it just as the ship slipped out of hyperspace and reverted to realspace.
"...well that's just depressing."
Before the tiny ship was an asteroid field, dull brown and grey, just like millions of other similar areas across the Galaxy. Most stars had them, and to Triter's eye, they all looked pretty much the same.
That he had come across hundreds of light-years just to reach such a place was a bit anticlimactic.
Still, hopefully it would be worth the trip.

Some time before, Triter had thrown in with a cause. In retaliation for recent moves against their territory, the Hutts had organized a lightning raid on Ziost, the capital of the Sith Brotherhood. The attack had come when the Sith had been busy conquering the planet Coruscant, and Triter had played a key role in the successful destruction of Ziost's defensive garrison fleet and ground-based defenses, leading the squadrons in their attack.
The attack had only been partially successful - the bomber squadrons which had exploited Triter's breakthrough had met unexpectedly stiff resistance - but Triter had made few friends in the aftermath. He was now among the Empire's most wanted for his role in the attack, and despite fleeing to the far reaches of the Galaxy to escape them, bounty hunters seemed to keep finding him.
So, he had hatched a plan.
The Roxuli Asteroids were a source of raw materials for the entire sector. That meant there was a lot of traffic going in and out. Triter intended to spend a few days in the area, and make arrangements to conceal his ship in one of the ore transports leaving the asteroids, disguising his departure. Hopefully, it would be enough to throw off the Bounty Hunters for at least a few months...

Triter looked over the enormous drone ore transports which lined the docks as he piloted his ship into one of the enclosed civilian docking bays. Nobody paid attention to a drone barge; their holds were more than big enough to accommodate his ship, and he could even save some money on fuel.
But it would take time to make the plan work.
Where to start... he thought to himself. I wonder what kind of night-life these rocks have, anyway.

The music was booming, bass heavy rhythmic beats so loud that they made the audio systems quiver and shake. 'Spice.' That was the name of this dance club, which had sprouted up a few years back to service the working men of the Asteroid Feilds. The term 'Dance Club' was barely an appropriate name though. There was a severe lack of clothing.

Koba exited the club. He had been in there for a few hours. True, places like that were vulgar and disgusting, but they made excellent hiding spots. No one wanted to be caught going in there, including the bounty hunters that had been searching for the pirate.

Koba had been in the area for a few days now. He'd been separated from his crew after a brief raid, and the bounty hunters had prevented him from returning to his men. All he had were the credits hidden away on his ship, and the guns on his hips. Koba was alone.

He moved quickly through the darkness, hidden by the shadows of ships passing by overhead.he wasn't entirely sure where he was going, but he knew he shouldn't stay in one place.

Triter climbed down from the cockpit of his ship, waving off the service droids that rolled up and pulling his cloak up around him. His breath misted in the cold air of the docking bay, and he shivered.
They never keep the climate control up to snuff in these places...
The Amaran wandered across the bay, ships passing overhead, casting shadows against the bright work lights in the ceiling above. Looking around, he could see mostly droids, a few listless starport workers, and very few other sentients.
His large ears twitched as he looked around.
Off the bat, the Amaran couldn't see anyone to be suspicious of. Then again, the best bounty hunters were good at not being seen. He stopped in the shadow of an old Orbwalker fighter, and paused. He looked up at the ship.
His ears flattened.
Normal people didn't fly space fighters. He did, of course, but that went with the job. Either this guy was another pirate, or a bounty hunter.
He gritted his teeth, and caught sight of a tentacle-headed figure, moving away across the docking bay and trying very hard not to be noticed by anyone.
The Amaran gave a low growl, and slipped into the shadows, moving after him.
Don't know who this guy is, but if he's trouble, he'll reckon with me.

Koba moved swiftly, smiling slightly as his ship came into view. His smirk faded quickly when he saw the outline of a figure staring up at his ship. The stranger seemed to notice him before ducking away into the darkness. Koba let out a low growl of frustration. He was hoping to get off this rock without any trouble.

He drew his blasters from their holsters and held them firmly in his hands. To lose his guns in a situation like this could mean losing his life...

Koba turned, running down the rows of ships to try and flank whomever had seen him. Though he was quick, his footsteps were quiet, easily drowned out by the traffic and the clanking droids that milled about.

He stopped at the edge of a freighter and peered around the side. Instead of his mystery man, Koba spotted a group of three. A Wookie with one eye, a Trandoshan who walked with a limp, and a Mandalorian whose Armour was practically falling apart. Bounty hunters. The cheap kind...

Koba found himself questioning what to do next, he could backtrack, or attempt to slip past the trio ahead of him. Either way, he'd have to make his decision quickly. The bounty hunters were coming his way.

With a bit of a grumble, Koba decided his best option was to stay put. He crouched down, moving under the freighter to try and avoid detection, or at least make him a harder target to hit..

Triter cursed as the other being slipped away, the Amaran reaching for his own blaster beneath his cloak. It looked oversized in his small hands, more like a light carbine than a pistol, but it was the young pirate's favored weapon.
Like Koba, he had concluded that it was better to have it out than to risk not getting the chance to use it.
He found himself ducking under a nearby freighter, moving through the shadows beneath its landing gear, until he could see to what was on the other side.
He froze, flattened against a landing strut.
They were the bounty hunters Koba had seen. Triter cursed, recognizing them; they weren't especially good, but they were persistent, and for the kind of money the Amaran was worth, he supposed he didn't blame them. He had thought he had left them behind some time ago, searching fruitlessly in yet another Outer Rim starport...
He moved himself back into the shadows, moving stealthily, until he suddenly bumped against something. He spun, and stifled a curse, pointing his blaster at the yellow-skinned Feeorin he had backed into.
"You!" He spat under his breath. "Here to get the jump on me before your friends?!"

Koba's hand snapped forwards, wrapping around the muzzle of the Amaran that had bumped into him. "Not a word..." He whispered. Koba released his muzzle and turned his attention back towards the bounty hunters.

The three had reached the freighter, and they were beginning to search the ship. Koba looked back towards the Amaran and motioned for him to follow.

It seemed as though this stranger was hiding from the bounty hunters as well. The enemy of my enemy is my friend...

With an ally, Koba felt a bit more confident in actually facing the bounty hunters. He could kill them right now and eliminate the annoying threat they always posed. However, Koba wasn't sure if the Amaran actually knew how to use his blaster.

He paused at the edge of the ship and stared back at his newfound comrade to see if he was following.

Triter let out a "mrph!" as the Feeorin's hand closed over his muzzle. He glared indignantly at the other being after he was released, shifting his attention as well to the trio of bounty hunters.
The Amaran gripped his blaster, trying to decide whether or not he could take all three before they got a shot off, before he saw his newfound ally motion for him to follow. Grudgingly, Triter did so; he wasn't yet sure if he trusted the other being, but they seemed to be on the same side, at least for the moment.
Carrying his blaster two-handed - on on the pistol grip, one on the fore grip - the young pirate caught up to his ally, his ears laid back in angry caution.
"So I'm assuming you don't have a plan yet either?" He whispered.

"I'm making this up as I go." Koba admitted to the furry little fellow. His eyes watched the bounty hunters as the searched for their targets. The Wookiee let out a roar and pointed.

They'd found his ship...

Koba hissed. He couldn't have the bounty hunters raid his ship. Not only would they steal everything, but it was a matter of pride. Koba refused to let anyone steal from him.

He turned back towards the Amaran. "You help me lure them away from my ship, and I'll make you a very rich man." Koba offered. "If you decline, I'm going to use you as bait..." He added on at the end. That's how Koba was, ruthless and definite.

Triter watched with distaste as the bounty hunters began to move in on the ship the young Amaran had spotted earlier. He scowled; he had been brought up with traditional Ossein values, and a major tenant of that was that a man's ship, unless taken fairly in combat, was a sacred thing. His hand tightened on the grip of his pistol.
He turned to Koba as he spoke, and gave a feral grin.
"Rich or bait, huh? Fine with me." He replied, raising his blaster to peer down it sights. "I'll take the Mandalorian and the Trando, if it's all the same to you. I hear Trandoshans like pelts, and of the two of us, I'd say I have the better one."
He moved off to the side.
"Don't forget; rich!"
