A large crowd had gathered outside the spaceport of Mag Mell, the capital city of Annwfyn. It was rare for an outsider to arrive on the surface, even more one that was a king. All of them wanted to catch a glimpse of Azar, be it due to curiosity or because they felt outrage that an outsider was going to put their feet on their homeworld.

Inside the spaceport, the royal comitive waited for him. Leading it was Caerllion, dressed in an outfit worthy of a nobleman. His heart was beating fast, in anticipation for Azar’s arrival. It had been sometime since Batuu and that party in Korriban. He wanted to see the Pureblood again, even if he still didn’t trust the Annfyn.

Caerllion would work hard to change it.

In Batuu, Caerllion learned that Azar liked to arrive late. This could be considered impolite for some in the royal court, including the prime-minister. The idea of a trade agreement with Korriban had been proposed by the dark-haired man and his political rivals would do anything to shoot it down.

To avoid any problem, Caerllion warned that the distance between Korriban and Annwfyn, including the fact that Azar was a busy man, could cause a delay in his arrival. Due to that, no one would complain when the Pureblood really didn’t arrive in the expected time.

Azar did, in fact, arrive late. But was still a king and brought with him an air of regality and hospitality himself. Several transports landed to unload rows upon rows of gifts for the diplomats and royalty he would meeting. They were all personalized rubies, gems and decorative glass created from the sands of Korriban. There were nature sculptures crafted from the forests of Dromund Kaas. And there were crystals and artifacts made from the caverns of Ziost. The Pureblood knew about the Annfyn love of nature, so he would shower his host with gifts upon arrival.

After the initial transports, his flagship landed and the ramp was lowered. The King was adorned in form-fitting and traditional attire, carrying himself with dignity and elegance as he strutted down the ramp. His normally long hair was neatly tied back with intricate braids lining his scalp to join the single, long braid.

The Pureblood gave a polite smile to those that greeted him regardless of whether it was welcoming or with morbid curiosity. Azar hardly cared what anyone thought as long as they had the sense to hold their tongue. The Pureblood came to a stop near Caerllion, flashing him a smile.

“Master Cyfnos,” He said smoothly, “Thank you for inviting me to your planet,” Azar said as he looked around at the magnificent architecture, “I trust accommodations have been made for my luggage?” He asked, pointing back at an entire ship dedicated just for his things.

As expected, Azar arrived late. Two hours late, to be exact. Caerllion wondered if it was a pattern, that the Pureblood would always delay his arrival for this exact amount of hours. It happened in Batuu and now again in Annwfyn. Perhaps it was only a coincidence, even if the Princeling had stopped to believe in coincidences several years ago.

Caerllion, like the rest of the members of the royal comitive, stared in amazement when several transports landed first. Azar had warned him that he would bring some little gifts for the nobles and diplomats. The Annfyn had expected some simple jewels for the more important ones and perhaps a fancy necklace for the Queen, basic stuff. What he was seeing right now would be enough to fill an entire tower of his castle.

He didn’t even need to look around to know that the nobles were already salivating with such a feast of precious gifts. Caerllion smirked discreetly. Azar really knew how to win the hearts of the people.

Then, Azar’s ship finally landed. It was luxurious, the Annfyn would not have expected anything else. A large smile appeared on Caerllion’s lips when the Pureblood appeared at the top of the ramp, his heart beating fast with the sight of him. He looked gorgeous dressed in these clothes.

Next to the Princeling, two Annfyns dressed in uniform played an instrument similar to a trumpet, announcing that a chief of state was in Annwfyn soil. The red-skinned man probably only heard a whisper, but locals heard a perfect loud sound.

A real trumpet could be mortal for a species with keen hearing like the Annfyn.

Your majesty.” Caerllion said, bowing in respect. “It’s a honor to have you here.” a small girl approached Azar, the Princeling recognised her as the daughter of a baron and a distant cousin by his father's side. She was nervous and carried a bouquet with red and purple flowers that were immediately offered to the King. “It’s tradition to offer flowers to chiefs of state during their first visit.” he explained, omitting the fact that he had hand picked them.

Yes, the entire second floor of the guest wing in the royal palace had been reserved for your luggage. You are going to stay in the third, with windows to the lake.” he gestured to the building behind the spaceport. “Please, follow me. Queen Gwendolyn is waiting for us at the entrance.” he started to guide Azar toward a landspeeder that would bring them to the building faster.

Obviously, Caerllion had refused to walk by foot to the palace and arranged the vehicle. Why do that if there was a nice landspeeder right here?
