DESCRIPTION
"The twins invite you to put yourself to the test and come back stronger." - the cuyan sales motto.
This armor is considered to be the first major set made since the twins were allowed to regain their honor as mandalorians, it is much more rugged and dependable than typical mandalorian armor, the twins have perfected the art of making songsteel armor and weapons, this armor series is a testimate of a group of survivors determination to rise anew after disgrace. Intentionally a blank slate when it comes to functions, the cuyan line offers the ability to install functions with extreme ease in order to fit the wearers taste. Unlike most mandalorian armor series, this has been painstakingly crafted of songsteel, rather than beskar as a testimate to the twins skill and dedication to their craft. Sadly, there are weak points, in between the shoulders and arm is an unarmored spot, as well as behind the legs, but those who have used it swear its flexibility outweighs the vulnerabilities. The twins have outsourced the armor design, so all mando'ade my use it.
This set of armor happens to be rue's, modified to fit her smaller frame.

Function: Mag-Boots
Magnetic boots contain electromagnets in the soles and allow for enhanced movement on ferrous surfaces in microgravity or steep gradients. This functionality must be turned on or off manually by a button or switch.

Function: Environment Suit
While it is not rated for extended exposure to extreme hazards, this body suit (when combined with an enclosed helmet) can protect the wearers body from the effects of environmental and weaponized toxins and similar hazards for up to 5 posting rounds.

Function: Utility HUD
Reads atmosphere composition and detects toxins, has also 4x magnifier, rangefinder and compass.

Function: Vision Modes
This Allows a Helmet HUD to cycle to low-light and thermal vision modes.

Function: Armorweave Accessory
Most often in the form of a heavy cape, skirt, or underlay beneath armor, armor weave provides some protection against the penetrating effects of shrapnel from explosives and other unpowered high velocity impacts, with only a small amount of bleed through damage (bruising or very minor wounds). It offers no protection against kinetic impact or energy, vibroweapons, or similar "powered" weapons. Having more than one accessory (example: Cape + underweave) provides no additional effect.

INTENT
Making rue's armor
Within combat situations, this armor functions identically to standard mandalorian armor, in combat, treat it as your mandalorian is in beskar armor, with the same weaknesses that beskar has.
Restrictions:
Mandalorian faction locked (sorta)
the twins deal almost exclusively in mandalorian space, it would be extremely expensive and difficult to get a twins smith to forge for a non mandalorian. Of course it's always possible to have stolen the armor, but it is highly unlikely.
