*After the events of the Jedi Temple being taken over K’Kurshek knew the Council was no longer going to stop him from running to Toola. He had taken his Jedi Interceptor and flown to Toola, he had set up a small base close to a village that had yet to see him, he was just afraid that they were going o notice him when they're hunting.*

*He couldn’t sleep all night; he was too worried about them finding him. He observed their small village all night. When the sun rose K’Kurshek set up a security that would only work while there was a sun, that’s why he didn’t use it within the night. He ventured towards the village, as he got closer; he saw that the Whiphids had noticed him; he had his green lightsaber ready for battle. As he entered the village most people looked smaller than him. He saw a man with two people on his left and right hand side walked out from the biggest room in the entire village. Then K’Kurshek noticed that the man that walked out was the chief, only his body guards and he was as big a K’Kurshek, and then K’Kurshek knew that he was built to be Tribe Leader. The Chief continued to walk to K’Kurshek while his body guards stood back.*

(In Whiphid language) “What is it that you want?”

*K’Kurshek thought he wouldn’t know what he said but he understood almost all of it.*

(K’Kurshek’s attempt at the Whiphid language) “I have come here to hide.”

*The chief looked puzzled, but he looked like he got some of it, enough to challenge K’Kurshek to a fight. The Chief pulled out a sword, the hilt was almost as long s the blade itself, it looked like a double Vibro-sword that only had one blade, yet as K’Kurshek fought the Chief, the blade and hilt were so strong a lightsaber couldn’t didn’t or burn it. The hilt seemed to be a more rounded version of the blade itself. Eventually K’Kurshek was cut and bleeding, he had amazed the tribe with his lightsaber, and yet he still could barely go on. The Chief had great fighting skills, much beyond a Jedi Knight Conceler.*

"G-3!" A frantic pattern of beeps was followed closely be a loud *pop* and G-3 fell to the ship's deck. "AHHHHHHH!!!" Dark clouds of the force were almost visible to any creature at that point, no that any creature would be in space watching the Theta class transport careening toward the small planet below. Stabalizers are still on line. Atmospheric brakes are down. Down to one engine. T-3 unit down. A wave of emotion rode that thought like a wave. One friend down. NO! Now was a time for control. Throwing a quick glance back at his loyal companion, Marc Shadel muttered softly, "Hold on little guy. I'll get you out of this...somehow." *Static* Over the communications relay :I am sorry it has to end up like this. You seem like a reasonable guy. All Jedi seem to be, but the bounty on your head is enough for me to look past that. "I not a flamin' Jedi already." *Static* Whatever. The bounty is still there though. Marc cut the power to his last and final rocket. Just a little closer. Credits are hard to find these days, you know? I have two dozen children to feed. A little closer And three wives. That takes a lot of money! That is why I have to kill you and collect the bounty A female electronic voice sounded the bugel call of salvation: "Target Locked." "BOUNTY THIS, RANCOR!!!" *Beep* A barage of laser fire sounded, but only for a minute. It was just a distraction. *Static* What the...oh. Three concussion missiles tore through space at Mach speeds. Two missiles impacted on the ship's superior shields, but the third struck home. *Boom, Boom...KABOOM* The enemy's cockpit exploded in a magnificent display of flame and sound. "This is why you do not carry your powerplant or missile payload anywhere near your cockpit. And never both at once!," Marc taunted into the now silent Communication system.
Five hours found Marc Shadel safetly landed onto a foreign landscape...and an extremely cold one at that. "Well, the first thing to do is to check out the wreckage of that thrice occursed bounty hunter's ship. Next would be to set up camp. After that..." Marc's voice lowered into shallow mutterings. The night was heavy with silence as he went about making a campsite. Little did he or could he know that he was not the only ex-Jedi Order member on that planet.

*K'Kurshek had not won the battle, but instead got sympathy from the Chief because he was almost as good as his body guards. K'Kurshek was starting to get sued to speaking his native tongue. As the night fell it would become cold to any normal person, but to a Whiphid it was time to hunt. K'Kurshek hunted by himself, it was shameful to do so. But he had no choice, he was allowed to become one of the tribe, but he was not going to get anything else from losing the battle. Then K'Kurshek stumbled across what looked like another Jedi.*

"Hello friend."

Marc whriled around at the sound of a voice. It took a few seconds for the Galactic Basic to sink into his brain. Friend? Is that what he called me? Marc slowly lowered his upturned blaster. Marc did not remember drawing it, but it was so much a habit for him that it was just part of who he what. What?!?! "Who are you?" Marc could feel the Force surge withing the other being and he became somewhat envious. So much trained power, if only I could... "And why are you here?" Marc only lowered his blaster. He did not trust this newcomer. It sounded like another ploy to get him to join either the Sith or the Jedi and Marc had enough of both. "Would you like some dinner?" Marc motioned to a crate with his blaster in a neutal way, offering the stranger a seat by his fire.

"I have already eaten, I am K'Kurshek, and I was a Jedi Knight before the Temple was taken over. I am here hiding for now. And you are?"

"Marc Shadel, a runaway from the Council. Well...at least part of it anyways." That last part puzzled Marc. "I'm sorry, explain that last bit again. The council has been...taken?"

"Taken by whom? Or what? Last time i was there, the others were still in firm control, brooding over how one planet or another was too powerful and all that other Jedi propaganda."

"The Sith attacked us, and we ran away, afraid the death toll wouldn't be worth the battle."

*K’Kurshek looked a little annoyed when he said this.*

"Run" Marc was familiar with the run. He had done it much of his life, under the approval of the Jedi Order of course. But, no more. Marc would stand firm no matter what it took. "So typical of the Order to do." Marc looked back at the wreckage of the two ships. Many usable parts were availible in the Bounty hunter's ship, including R-2 parst to fix G-3, but what he lacked was the manpower to reassemble his Theta-Class ship quickly. Mabey if his 'guest' was willing... "So what are your plans for this rock?" Marc asked refering to to planet. The fire was dying so Marc added more firewood with the Force and set it all ablaze with Force Lightning. Simple things for him to do, but Marc wanted so badly to impress this new Jedi he had found in spite of himself. He...Marc hated to admit it...needed someone. For the second time in his life, Marc found himself attaching himself to another being. Marc was dully unimpressed with himself.

OOC: I realized that after the fact. Sorry.

"As strong as a Jedi master, huh? Good luck," Marc humphed sarcasticly. His own master was one of the strongest before his untimely demise. "What does, 'revealing yourself to the galaxy' entail?" Marc eyed the wreckage curiously. If he could get some help putting that thing back together again he could take this guy off this world. Mabey, just mabey he would teach Marc what he knew. "Would you still be willing to get of this world?"

"I'm here for a reason and that reason is to hide."

*K’Kurshek ran off. Later in the tribe he set up a hut, he took off everything the Jedi had him wear. He was now a Whiphid Warrior.*

"Stupid, animal, Jedi, thing!" Marc ran a string of insults as the Jedi ran off. "I guess that I'll have to fix this thing myself." I guess that I need to get to work. While scavenging through the surviving bounty hunter computer componets, Marc spotted something. There is no bloody way! In the wreckage was a deactivated T-3 unit. After a quick inspection, Marc found that the droid was completely intact. Someone upstairs loves me alright. After I get G-3 repaired, the ship will be repaired in no time! Marc smiled for the first time in what seemed like ages. You know, this detour may not be such a bad thing. Immediately, Marc sat down cross-legged. He needed to make sure, whatever the Force really was, that it was on his side and Marc thanked it profusely. Marc just sat there, enveloped in the force for minute after minute. The night grew colder and colder, but Marc did not notice. The force was already looking out for him.

OOC: Can we fast forward the story a bit? It may help the story line along. I have nothing, but training, repairing my ship, eating, sleeping, peeing, and pooping set for me for a few months.

OOC: Sure I’ll just change a few things, I’ll keep this thread closed until I finish Renn's training and then I’ll become a Runaway Jedi or something.

It took some time for Marc to fix-up his damaged Theata, months in fact, but he did not mind in the slightest. The new addition to his 'family' proved very useful, after it became self-sufficient and did not 'new input commands' every few minutes. The bounty hunter's ship was a miriad of new equipment, better technology, and gagets. Marc's two compainions were outfitted with so many droid parts that it became Marc who was obsolete when it came to doing ship 'repairs' (after a time, Marc stopped using the term 'repairs' because his whole ship was changing class. It became a whole ship remodel). Marc did not mind in the slightest though. Training occupied his time, but it was not with his blaster. He refused to pick up another ranged weapon until he supassed his old Jedi skill level when he was still in the Order. The way he trained however, was a bit unorthodox.
He became a hunter, one that only used Force powers to track, catch, and kill his prey. No weapons were involved. Because of this Marc found himself being wounded more often than not, however the pain did not affect him as it once did. It was only a temporary state and therefore could be used to his advantage as all situations could. His pain unleashed a power inside of him that he relished and reveled in; one that he was sure that no one could stand against. (thus, Marc Shadel unwittedly learned the secrets of the Sith form of Jedi Pain Control). Marc and his power grew, until at last his ship's 'modifications' were completed.
As he stood upon the boarding ramp, Marc looked upon the place where he had called home for so long. It seemed like ages. The all that was left of the wreckage was a molten blob of metal, picked clean of all usable parts and melted as a monument of his time spent there. "This place is so...full. Full of life. I will return here someday." And with that Marc boarded his ship and left the planet for, what he promised himself, was not the last time. Good bye Jedi of the Order, Shadel told the creature that he had met all those months ago and who he was sure had watched him on his entire stay, I hope you find happiness on this world or wherever life may take you. After pausing for a moment, he added, And may the Force be with you, always. "Marc, if you are going to try this Force Powered Individual thing again you need to get used to saying that," the now-finally-pilot-again chastised himself. Shaking his head, Marc took one last look at the world he was leaving behind and a full stare at the open space directly ahead of him that threatened to consume him, if he was not especially careful.
"Here goes absolutely nothing. May the Force be bloody with me." *Beep Boop Bop Beep Beepbop Beepbop whirrr Beepbop* "Yes, G-3, I know that you will stick with me..." and with that, Marc hit the hyperdrive and lauched himself away, into the great unknown.

At a different point in the galaxy: May the Force be with you, indeed. *Chuckle* The once handsome face grew grotesque with hatred. The raw anger filled every fiber of his being, the way he thought included. Indeed.
