Coruscant; level 1313
Time; 03:51

Stretching his arms behind his back Allelujah yawned as he looked at the cargo that he was going to transport this time, if he would have been honest with himself he would just have declined the job right of the bat, but he didn't because he needed the money. And because otherwise he wouldn't be able to keep the ship running, after loosing his old one due to a mistake that he had made, he had to make due with this ship. Not a good ship in his opinion, but it was the only one that he had been able to afford with the money he had. Sighing he stood up from one of the crates and tossed the datapad so it landed on one of the crates that stood spread out in the hangar, right now he didn't feel like or wanted to load it into the ship.

Grabbing his jacket Allelujah started to walk to the door of the hangar, hanging it over his shoulder for now he exited the hangar. After swiping the card he placed it in his mouth for a few seconds so that he could punch in the code that would lock the hangar. Starting to walk away from the hangar he closed his eyes for a few seconds as he took on his jacket, though he didn't get far after taking on his jacket, only a few steps before someone ran into him. Causing him to stumble backwards and fall flat on his back, card still in mouth he started to curse. Grunting lowly he stood up slowly and looked at the person that had ran into him.”Can't ya see where'ya going?” he said with the card still in his mouth, making it sound like he said something completely different, removing it he spoke again.”Can't you see where you are going.” he said once again, though this time much clearer then before.

"Quick! Stop that man!"

The man who had just crashed into Allelujah looked up at the man in panic, then quickly scrambled to his knees and bolted off before Allelujah could react. Holiday trailed behind slowly, stopping in front of Allelujah in order to double over and catch her breath. Her brown hair fluttered back and forth as she panted heavily, sucking down greedy gulps of air for her emptied lungs. It took her a few moments before she could stand up straight again, and look at Allelujah.

"I'm sorry about that," said Holiday as she placed her hand on her hips, keeping her right one close to her lightsaber just in case this man was an Underworld thief. "I've been after him all day. It looks like he got away from me again," she complained. Her reading of Allelujah was difficult to figure out. It was almost as if two people were inhabiting the same body, but how this was possible, Holiday couldn't tell. All she knew was that she had never encountered something like this before, and should probably tread the waters carefully. "Did you happen to see which way he went?" she asked simply.

Sorry about that? About a man running into him, was that what she was sorry for. Rolling his head Allelujah listened to what the woman said, why should he even care about trying to see where that person was going. It was none of his business and because of that he couldn't care less about it, had it been his business then he might have cared about it.”What ever.” he said with a annoyed tone, though he changed it rather quickly to a more polite one.“Not like it was you who ran into me.” he said and put away the card in one of his pockets before rubbing his neck a bit.”Nope, couldn't care less about people such as him.” a bit stiff in the shoulders it would seem, sighing he removed his hand from his neck. It would return to normal in a while or so, just needed some stretching of the arms and the stiffness should be gone.

Glancing over her now he noticed how her right hand was placed, trying to cover up a saber ey was she now.”I guess that you are a jedi, otherwise you wouldn't be carrying that saber you are holding your hand close to. Am I right.?” he asked her bluntly.”Wouldn't it be possible that she just killed a jedi and took one.” Hallelujah asked Allelujah, standing next to the jedi girl, she wouldn't be able to see him. After all it was just a mental image, though that didn't help much as he glared at his alter egos image with cold eyes.

Holiday wasn't particularly able to discern Allelujah's eye movements, but she did feel the pulse of hate that reverberated from his body as he glared at his fictional counterpart, Hallelujah. She was uncertain if the hate was directed specifically at her, and she found irrelevant to the situation anyway. There were many people who hated the Jedi, especially in the Underworld of Coruscant given how many criminals there were down here.

"I'm only a Padawan, but yes, I'm studying to become a Jedi," Holiday said as Allelujah posed his question. "Since you don't seem to care about assisting in Jedi matters, I'll simply be on my way." Holiday turned down the alley she had assumed her prey to travel down, beginning to walk away. The man she was leaving behind confused her, but she knew one thing: he likely wasn't one of the safest people to be around. She would need to keep on her toes around this one, at least if he had a change of heart and wanted to assist Holiday. If he didn't, she would be gone within a few minutes and likely not see him again.

Hold up a minute, so just because he said that he didn't care about the person that ran into him, she assumed that he wouldn't help her. Where the kriff had she grown up, just because someone says that they don't care about a person that runs into them. Doesn't meant that they wouldn't help someone that was chasing that person. It didn't even take a minute for her to start moving again in the way that she most likely believed the person to have went, sighing he shook his head a few times and watched as the jedi started to walk down the alley where the person could have went. Turning he started to walk down the same alley that the jedi went down through.”Oi woman, why are you chasing that man.” he hollered after her, though he didn't expect her to answer him. But if it was interesting enough then perhaps he would help her chase after the person.

Holiday stopped and turned around to face Allelujah as he called her 'woman'. She was surprised to see that he had began to follow her, and inquired why she was chasing the man. Was he really interested? If he was, perhaps Holiday had jumped to her assumptions a little quickly. Perhaps it was also because of her inability to read this man the way she was able to do with everyone else, and something in her head told her that this man was dangerous. Regardless, she was a Jedi, and she had to maintain a good image for them. Right now though, it seemed she had started off on the wrong foot.

"He's believed to be involved with a cult; the Cult of Ragnos," she said as she waited for him to catch up. "They used to be pretty big, appearing all over the galaxy. Their numbers have diminished and they're not as high up on Jedi's priority list as they used to be, but they're still out there, and they're dangerous." Holiday put her hands into her wide sleeves, deciding that she needed to be a little more friendly. "My name is Holiday," she said as she put on a small. "I'm sorry for the way I acted just a moment ago. I was a bit flustered that he had eluded me again."

Involved in a cult? Now that was something you didn't hear often, he had heard about people being chased because they were part of a gang or something. But this was the first time Allelujah had heard of someone being chased because they were believed to be involved with a cult, though he had to give it to the woman. She had the guts to be chasing after someone in a place like this, where people didn't care about laws the same way as those living high above did. Down here, the survival of the fittest was almost a fact. If you wasn't strong enough, you'd get killed before you knew it.

“Cute name.” saying it after hearing her name, and then waiting a moment before speaking again.”Names Allelujah.” he said with a nicer tone then he had spoken earlier with.”Don't worry about it, I can understand how you feel if the same man managed to elude you over and over again.” chuckling a bit he came to a halt a few feet from her.

Holiday continued to smile at the man named Allelujah, finding him to be more friendly than she had originally anticipated. She still felt an air of unease when near him, and still had every intention of keeping her wits about her. There was still no telling what he was capable of, or why she seemed to read two different people inhabiting the same body, but only time would show her.

"You may come along, if you like," she said as she motioned for him to follow. Company wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing to have in the Underworld of Coruscant. She was sure she would be able to hold her own, but it was always better to be prepared for any eventuality. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Allelujah. What brings you into the Underworld of Coruscant?"

He chuckled softly when she said that he could come along id he'd like, there wasn't sarcasm or anything in the chuckle beside amusement. Why it was so amusing to him he couldn't tell really, though it was amusing in a way. Starting to walk he followed the Jedi, walking besides her.”Pleasure to meet you as well Holiday.” should he really tell a Jedi why he was in the underworld of Coruscant, could end up in prison if things went south. Though then again, if things went south here in the underworld, he would end up dead.”Business.” he said, it wasn't the entire truth, but it would do for now.

Holiday knew that Allelujah was being skeptical with his answer, and given that she was a Jedi his skepticism wasn't entirely unwarranted. She thought it best to try and defuse the situation though, since the two of them were going to be traveling together for an unspecified amount of time. They needed to trust each other, at least a little bit, as difficult as that may be.

"If you're worried I'm going to arrest you, don't be," she stated simply. She continued walking at a steady pace, and decided to keep things simple. "Arrests, especially in a place like this, fall under Galactic Alliance jurisdiction. If the Jedi went after everyone for every little crime they did, there would be none left to help fight the war." Holiday giggled at her statement after she thought about it, partially because of a thought that had crossed her mind and partially to show her companion she was being honest.

Holiday could just picture it in her head: the entire Jedi Order, walking around the cities of the Underworld of Coruscant, laying in wait like a bunch of watchdogs for the smallest of crimes. She couldn't see that happening for the whole of Coruscant, much less the whole of the galaxy. There were simply not enough Jedi, and not even enough Galactic Alliance personnel, to stop every criminal for what they did, no matter how big or small it was.

“If you tried to arrest me then I'd just have to run, and I am pretty sure that I would be able to outrun you in this district.” he said with a smirk after she did a statement about being worried about getting arrested by her, death was more freighting in his opinion. Though when it was his time to die it would be his time, and there would be little that he would be able to do.

Allelujah just shrugged when Holiday mentioned war.”And if there was no jedi or sith, there would be less war.” though he couldn't help but laugh a bit when she giggled, she didn't seem to belong with the jedi. But who was he to think about such things mere minute after meeting her, he was a smuggler and gun for hire, that was what he was.

Holiday wasn't going to deny that he would be able to outrun her. She had only been to Coruscant twice prior to this trip, and she got hopelessly lost every time. Another thing that factored was the fact that Allelujah was dressed in clothes that made for good mobility. The same couldn't be said for her robes, but she enjoyed wearing them none the less. It helped people identify who she was, although discretion was often the better option when traversing the Underworld of Coruscant. The one thing she had going for her was her lightsaber, because there were always people who were unnerved by the simple sight of it.

"You're right," said Holiday as Allelujah mentioned less fighting if there were no Jedi or Sith. "Sadly, we live in an imperfect universe." Holiday always wished that there was no fighting, because if there was no fighting then she wouldn't have had to kill her father, who had succumbed to the dark side. It was unproductive to wish for a peaceful universe, because such a thing could never truly happen. All that anyone could do was come to terms with what there was and what couldn't be, though that would never stop certain individuals, like Holiday herself, from fighting for such a thing. "Maybe one day, there will be no Jedi or Sith. For now though, all we can do is fight with the hope that maybe one day, there will be peace."

So she actually thought him to be right regarding that there would be less fighting if there was no jedi or sith, he didn't actually expect to hear that. He would have thought that she would say something else, trying to defend the jedi or something, saying how they were essential for the galaxy or something.”Yeah, you could definitely say that we live in a imperfect universe.” that he knew very much about, experiencing something like he had wasn't exactly wasn't what a kid should experience.”Maybe one day.” he mumbled.

Glancing a bit over his shoulder he noticed how a few interesting figures had turned down the alley that they were walking.”Never a dull day in the underworld.” Allelujah mumbled as he turned so that he looked forward again.”How fast can you run?”

Holiday didn't even need to look behind her once Allelujah had asked her how fast she could run. She knew that he wouldn't ask that question without a good reason, and she had also sensed the individuals who had turned down the alleyway. If there was the one upside to being a Miraluka, it was being unhindered by physical eyes. Force Sight was much more convenient, being able to essentially see 360 degrees around you at all times.

"In these robes, not too terribly fast," admitted Holiday. "Being a Jedi though, I can use the Force to speed myself up if need be." Holiday was making sure to keep her words hushed so that the people behind her wouldn't hear her, and they wouldn't catch on to their plan. "Just say when."

Okay, so not terribly fast, but she could use the force to speed her up. Well that was at least something, not much maybe, but that would remain to be seen. Though good thing that she was ready to start run when he told her to, moving his hand from hanging at his side he slid it inside of his jacket to retrieve a small cylinder item. It was small enough to be hidden in his hand thank fully, but it would be perfect for this little stunt. Flipping up the lid of it he pressed down the button, after he released it there would be a three second delay before it went off.”Now.” pushing her a bit he turned around and tossed the cylinder towards the persons that was following them, before starting to run in the opposite way. Grabbing Holiday by the hand so to not lose her when running through the alleyways. The small cylinder was just a flashbang, so they wouldn't get hurt from it. Just blinded for a while, hopefully.

Holiday began to run as fast as her robes would allow her, though with the help of Allelujah she was making better progress than she had anticipated. She wasn't sure where they were going, but trusted her companion to lead her though the maze of alleyways and buildings. She heard the grenade go off, not knowing that it was only a flashbang. Even if they had stuck around, Holiday wouldn't have been affected by it. She continued to run with Allelujah, staying prepared just in case their pursuers somehow caught up, or they had friends ahead who would attempt to intercept them.

"Just out of curiosity, are you even armed?" asked Holiday as they continued to run. She wanted to know if she was the one that would have to do all of the fighting if they got cornered.

“You could say that.” he said without turning to see, sidestepping to get into a smaller alley that few people knew of. Just wide enough for Allelujah and Holiday to get in to, if their pursuers was any larger then they were they wouldn't be able to get in. Coming to a halt in the alley he looked back, and let go of Holidays hand before making his way past her so that he could see if anyone was following them anymore or not. With the alley being so small it was a bit tricky to get past her without being perhaps a bit to close to what some people liked, a little to close as in physical contact. Walking silently to the start of the alley he sank down so that he sat hunched, and pulled out the blaster that he always carried on him. Holding it ready just in case.

Didn't take more then a minute before several people ran right past the alley where they were, and continued searching for them further down the row of buildings. Well, those had certainly not been the smartest thugs around for sure, thankfully. Exhaling he put back the blaster and stood up.

Well this is awkward, Holiday thought to herself as Allelujah brushed by her in extremely close proximity. She could feel him squeeze past her, but she knew that he didn't mean anything by it. She sensed the thugs sprint right by the alleyway they had been crammed into, relieved that her and Allelujah wouldn't have to resort to violence.

This time, at least.

Once she was sure the thugs were far enough away, she squeezed out of the alleyway and took a few breaths of fresher air. The Underworld of Coruscant had mucky air in general, but being stuffed into that alleyway was awful. She wasn't sure what was the source of the small that had made her nostrils burn, and quite frankly she didn't care to know. Holiday dusted the grime and dirt off of her robes, the majority of it coming off pretty cleanly.
"Do you know where we are?" she asked Allelujah. As always Holiday was hopelessly lost again, and hoped that he would be able to lead them out of here, and back onto the trail of the man she was originally after.

“Sorry bout that.” he hoped that she would get what part he was apologizing for, having stepped out of the alley to make it easier for Holiday to get out he looked around for a few seconds to get a bearing at where they were. Looking upwards he saw something that helped him greatly to know where they were.”I know where we are.” Allelujah replied to her question.

“Well, if we are gonna find that man you were looking for we better get going then.” he said and motioned for her to follow him, walking through the alley he made his way out on a street, not far from here a friend of his owned a club. And that person knew about most things that went on here, so there was a good chance that he would be able to help them find who they where looking for.

Holiday nodded at Allelujah, accepting his apology. She acknowledged that it was probably the only way that they would have escaped the people who were chasing after them, and that their close proximity, however brief it was, couldn't have been helped.

"All right. So where are we headed, if I may ask?" she inquired. She was relieved at the fact that Allelujah at least knew where they were, but Holiday was still curious as to what their destination was. She thought it best to learn as much about this place as she could, so if she ever had to come back on her own she would have a little more bearing.
