The gay rights situation in Russia is abysmal already, but apparently it can still get worse! 'Homosexual propaganda' seems to have a very broad definition, as gay rights rallies and even same-sex kissing in public will be criminal activities when this law is put into effect. I have no doubt that it will be put into effect, since there's not exactly a lot of public support for gay rights in Russia (and Putin pretty much does what he wants anyway).
