RV-07 "Multifunction" Blaster Pistol

Intent: To Introduce a Revolver style weapon for my charater to use and for anyone out there who wants to have a revolver style blaster pistol for they charater as well.

Model: RV-07 "Multifunction" Blaster Pistol

Type:Blaster

Size: Large Pistol

Composition: Most of the Blaster is made out of Durasteel while have some bits of it like the Blaster Barrel being made complety out of titanium to give it a higher heat resistance for the blaster.

Range: With standard skills and no upgrades added to the blaster it can hit probably around 20-30 meters but with upgrades and being used by a professional gunslinger then 50 meters and maybe more depends on the upgrade

Ammunition Capacity: 8 shoots inside the barrel but has a experiment recharging power pack that is only able to recharge two full clips until the power pack must be switch for a fresh new power pack.
Explosive round use up 4 shoots
Ion rounds use up 2 shoots

Description: So difference that the RV-07 has then other weapons is that it was develop by a old crazy hermit who would make weapons for a living but sadly he died before he could show the world his powerful weapons but lucky for him a company who were scout out his planet had found the old hermit house with his blue plans lay around everywhere intrigue by the hermit unique designs. So they decide to make one of his weapons which was the RV-07 Which was a old experiment blaster pistol which had the unique System to allow the blaster to change it power pack into different rounds as if the person was switch power packs with different ones. as one explame is it able to turn the power pack that currently inside to ion rounds or you could switch the ion round to explosive shots which would explode on impact but would drain the power pack rapidly do this also the blaster has a second feature which is the power packs it uses are able to recharge 2 full power packs until the power pack is empty and it has a stun and kill setting on the blaster make it very useful for bounty hunters to use for capturing bounty without killing them.

Hey! Not a bad piece of kit you have here. But i'm not sure about explosive rounds. That sounds like something for a slughtrower. And if the rounds did explosive, this would put this into the category of something like a maser, which has been discussed at length. And considering some of the opinions concerning it, I don't personally think you'll be able to have it.

Also, if the Explosive (and it can be argued that blaster bolts already are explosive in and of themselves) and Ion shots go bai-bai... then this gun is pretty similar to the already approved Sunspear. (Not to toot my own horn)

And not sure that this "recharging power pack" will be allowed, even if it only can top up "two clips". Allowing your clip to be instantly recharged twice effectively means that your gun's got 24 rounds. Which means that it can be fired eight times three, which equates to 24 shots. Which is four more than the max allowed for pistols, nevermind being insane for a heavy blaster (pistol).

Yeah, I'm not sure how I feel about the recharging pack. Usually with stuff that offers rechargable or regenerating ammunition it's going to be single shot, very slow rate of fire.
