Everyone is very familiar with the Star Wars Universe's HK series Assassin droids and many fans love them. This line of droids differs in being geared towards protecting, rather than murderizing. The Guardian Class droids will provide members a unique opportunity for protecting anything from themselves, groups of people, cargo holds, ships in general, etc.

Description
The EndBringer Guardian Class Droids were designed with absolute protection in mind. The droid sports all over heavy armor, giving it superior protection itself from being fired at. Its right arm has been built into a heavy blaster cannon that fires heavy blaster bolts and is able to go through twenty rounds before needing to reload the power pack. Additional power packs are stored in a compartment within the arm and can be automatically loaded into the cannon's ammo port when the used pack is discarded. It takes a total of ten seconds from the time the last bolt is fired to when the next pack is ready to start firing.

The EndBringer's left hand is humanoid in nature, enabling the droid to perform a multitude of tasks including but not limited to holding and firing blaster pistols, activating and throwing grenades, flipping switches, engaging spacecraft commands, etc. The droid can be programmed to perform any task the owner wishes, but most commonly are only programmed with actions directly associated with guarding, protecting, and engaging in combat.

In place of a head, the EndBringer employs a holo projector which can be programmed to mimic any real life head the user chooses. The default setting shows only an orange globe, but programming a replacement is easy even for the technically disinclined.

Main controls for the droid are housed within the chest, protected by the heavy chest and back plates. This makes disabling the droid via fire power relatively difficult. While an enemy is attempting to fire enough rounds at the EndBringer to disable it, the droid will be firing back with its superior blaster cannon weapon and, if programmed to, any other weaponry it might have activated in its other hand.

Only 300 pounds? (This is not me saying you should change it) glad to see someone else making kick butt submissions. I think both of my sith characters will use this droid as bodyguards.

Just for clarification purposes, under what umbrella does the blaster cannon fall under? Pistol, heavy pistol, carbine, rifle, etc.?

it's a cannon, it's artillery, like a vehicle mounted weapon. i don't think it's meant to be carried on foot.

Cannon is sometimes used as a catch-all term for a stronger brand of blaster (ie, hand cannon). Some people just like the flavor of different terms, so I'm trying no to assume one way or the other.

very true. it is something that isn't references in the tech guidelines/rules (that i can see) using the term cannon for handheld use.

I didn't put that much thought into it - basically was aiming for a heavy blaster rifle rating for the armament. Was pretty much just going off of the armor rules, using the heaviest brand of weaponry available. That okay?
