DESCRIPTION
The lightsaber pike, also known as the lightsaber lance, was a unique weapon that resembled a primitive halberd or spear in many aspects. As staff weapons, they were typically considered the domain of exotic weapon specialists among the Jedi. They were notably used by all Jedi Temple Guards during the Clone Wars.

There were two different forms of lightsaber pike, with the first being much like a spear, glaive, or other, similar polearms. Its long handle was made of a lightsaber-resistant material; phrik alloy being a prime choice. At the end of the handle was a lightsaber blade that was shorter and thicker than a normal one. The blade could be activated by a switch further down the weapon's shaft. Including the blade, the weapon was almost as long as the wielder's body and could keep enemies at a distance, giving the advantage of a longer reach.
The second type of lightsaber pike sported another blade at the other end and to all appearances seemed identical in both form and function to a double-bladed lightsaber, with which it shared a "nearly identical" combat style. The most prominent examples of this model were used by the Jedi Temple Guards, which had yellow blades that appeared relatively shorter than the ones found on a double-bladed lightsaber.

LEGALITY
Same legality as a standard lightsaber weapon.

INTENT
Continuing my quest to add more saber types for sith and Jedi PCs, besides the standard normal sword, I didn't see a write up for a saber pike, so I figured I would do it myself haha.

RESTRICTIONS
The design was (to my knowledge) a closely guarded secret of the sith, it requires both hands to use properly, It is also heavier, and is far harder to hide, taking the appearance of a staff, I doubt jedi would have an full design of the sith lightsaber pike, preferring their own version of it (the TGs), but I could be wrong. As usual, no modifications, probably a max of medium armor in terms of weight to use effectively, since it requires both good agility, as well as precision and timing.

Not sure if I should have counted as restricted, I'll leave that up for moderation to decide lol

I'm not a tech mod. But the Eternal Empire and the Knights of Zakuul don't exist in canon nor do they exist or have existed in site canon.

I would remove all references to them

Edit: Also the Jedi Temple Guards pike I know for sure doesn't require a write-up.

Alright, thanks!
👍

Edit: Yeah, I figured I would include it to give context to the sith saber pike itself, can't be too careful.

As putting a lightsaber on a long stick is a pretty basic concept, I'm archiving this as unnecessary.
