Baktah was about to call up security and have them check it out, being entirely impatient with this whole ordeal and pissed that he had to distract his own men with the work initially. The fact that it had been a Krath-damn Jedi padawan who had caused the whole incident was of no help to him either. This whole thing irked him -greatly-... and I mean GREATLY!!

Speaking of Jedi though, perhaps he could get -some- use out of that worthless piece of bantha poo-doo after all. Radioing up his supervisor, Baktah barked some orders into his side of the comm, "Odin, git yer Jedi's ass over to the wrecked wing an' have him track down our maintenance crew. Been here less than half an hour an' have already gone fecking missing!" He slammed his comm down without giving Odin any time to respond. Krath, was he pissed!! He wanted his station fixed Yesterday!!

After a moment, he re-established comms with Randall in the hangar bay. His voice much more calm this time, he stated, "Randall, the pada-waaa is coming your way. See if he can't be of -some- use to us and track down that maintenance crew. I don't know what the feck they think they're doin', but their asses -should- be down there fixin' my shet." After a simple reply, Baktah terminated the comm. Muttering as he began to pace. This whole thing was... distasteful. He thought about having his security round up this crew, but perhaps it was a bit early for that. Still though, they weren't on their ship, in their hangar, or at the job site. The feck?!?!
--------------------------
((Switching to Kidd Vegas))

Kidd's come went off with a zap!! They'd intentionally given him one with a small short in it that would sometimes give off an electrical discharge when activated. Jumping a bit at the shock, he soon swallowed his bite as he fiddled with the device, answering it with his mouth still half-full. "This is Kidd," he replied in his usual, cheerful tone, himself still finding it amusing the measures they took to spite him. No doubt, these were just more opportunities for character development that his Master had probably already foreseen... or at least figured and counted on.

Lieutenant Randall wasn't as harsh as Baktah Mose, but still, he could tell by his tone over the comm that he was not overly excited about the predicament they all found themselves in. Kidd nearly inquired back why they just didn't use Security to find them, but decided against it as it really wasn't his place, plus this would give him a good excuse to practice some Force abilities that he hadn't really used in awhile... or at least since being on this station.

Having only ate half of his breakfast, Kidd dumped it anyway as he made his way towards the wrecked arm of the space station. As usual since the start of his punishment here, he didn't carry his training lightsaber with him, yet did have a good blaster held snug within a holster on his belt. Attempting to warm himself up before he got to the Lieutenant, Kidd began to focus on the Force and tried to locate Baktah Mose... then the Lieutenant... those two were easy enough. He'd had enough personal exchanges with them to know just what to look for.

This deal with this maintenance crew would prove much more tricky. He didn't really have anything to go off of. What? Was he supposed to find every humanoid aboard the space station and determine what their role here was? He hadn't met everyone, nor was he even anywere -remotely- that skilled with the Force... or that smart for that matter. Was that even possible? He'd ask his mentor when he got back to the Temple... whenever -that- would be.

Finally entering the hangar bay where the awaiting Lieutenant was, Kidd had ran through the hallways, calling upon the Force to aid his speed and awareness so that he wouldn't run into anyone. That wouldn't help his PR campaign here at all. With the knowledge that the Lieutenant was prior military, the padawan assumed the position of attention as he reported, "Kidd Vegas reporting as ordered, Sir!"

It had worked. The Lieutenant gave a crooked smirk as he eyed the young Jedi, then began to explain to him just what had happened and who they were looking for, though he didn't really have any physical descriptions since he hadn't... well... wait... then he described the blue-furred, four-armed humanoid. Perhaps if they could find him, they could inquire of him where the rest of his team was.

"He's a Pho Ph'eahian?" Kidd inquired as he quirked an eyebrow. He wasn't familiar with that name... or race. He would have to look it up while the Lieutenant described him. Doing so on his datapad, it wouldn't be easy to cover such a large space station in search of all these... well... wait... the LT said there were only a handful. Speaking up as he looked up from his datapad, Kidd replied, "It'd be faster if we had a few security teams workin' with us, so we could tell them where to go instead of jus' me runnin' all over this big ol' space station."

The Lieutenant took a moment to consider the young Jedi's words, then concurred, stating such as he brought his comm up to his lips, calling down to the security outpost. He'd have them dispatch at least three teams, having them report to him and the young Padawan, if he could get them to respond to his calls. Kidd began to focus as best he could on finding those of that race here on the station. He hadn't really done this kind of thing before. Success didn't look promising.

This floor seemed smaller than the main one. Bat wasn't sure why, but this place just seemed more...cramped. Maybe it was the lack of lifeforms, maybe it was in fact a smaller narrower area, but either way it was something Bat took note of. Bat checked around him and watched the security camera's and auto turrets carefully. It wasn't long before the normal ocillating motion of the cameras- simply stopped.

Issac must have hit the security terminal... excellent.

With that Bat breathed a sigh of relief, no more did he have to worry about the watchful eye of Republic Security breathing down his neck. He proceeded again down the meaningless hallways and the empty corridors before he found a small grouping of Republic officers talking. Time for Bat to earn some brownie points and establish an alibi. There were 3 of them, one in a similar uniform to that of the Lieutenant, the others were in more work-oriented clothes. He approached them and began to speak:

"Pardon me Gentlemen, my name is Mailo but i seem to be at a loss of where im going. S...-See i'm part of the repair crew from downstairs, but shortly after we arrived we realized we were out of power conduits, and i was sent up here to retrieve some. Sadly i wasn't given any directions other than 'on the fifth floor' would you be able to help me?"

Batvan got a visual profile on all 3 men as he spoke. The 2 plainly clothed men were not armed- at least as far as Bat could see, one had a comlink and a hydrospanner, the other didn't seem to have anything at all on his person. The third man is the one that caught Bat's attention and nearly made him slur his words as he spoke. This man had a 2 bar insignia on his shoulder, and wore a name tag that read "Corporal Jiggs" ...was it REALLY that easy? The Corporal looked bat up and down and opened his mouth to reply.

"Hm yea THOSE guys. I was actually just asked to go check up on your all, say you need Power conduits? If anywhere they'd be in the maintenance room down that hall and too the right? Shall i show you so you don't get lost again?"

"That would be great...thank you."

Batvan hated to bite his tongue and voluntarily through himself away like that, but it was the best thing he could do.

"Go about your business men, let me get this guy straightened out..."

((OOC: Replacing Omega))

Angel...

They said that he constantly hid behind his illusions. Able to skillfully trick the minds of others because of his unique mind. It was true in a way...he heavily depended on the force to aid him in most cases, and his head wasn't exactly screwed on like the average person.

Two Grandmasters had spent years of their lives training Angel to hone his specialty. Though one master nurtured an odd belief of Angel's, while the other tried to break him of it. The latter hadn't been successful. Angel still saw himself as a void in the Force; he believed he fed off the Force constantly, without the ability to quench his hunger for it. Today he didn't have his mask to help him with his hunger. The rare lignan lining of his mask(that produced a strong amount of Dark Side Energy) had almost become an addiction to him. His head felt a bit dizzy from the lack of it, which was a unfortunate side effect of the lignan, but he was steadily adjusting back to normal. It was something he needed to stop using, but didn't quite want to stop.

He didn't run into any trouble as he strode through the corridors of the station. His power was masked but not completely, only dulled to something insignificant and grey in the Force. He was not a man of evil, nor was he a hero.

Once nearing the room with the main power supply he stopped at the side of the door for a minute. His eyes glazed over, fogging the brightness of their crimson. From the perspectives of the weak minded they would not see Angel. They would see their fellow workers and the room, but only the illusionary version of it.

Angel took a step in the room assuming his victory. The door shut behind him with a click.

"Well looks like there is nothing here...how sad" Abraxis muttered to himself as he created a force doppleganger of himself that was going to stay in the working place. After all, tricking those fools to believe that this clone was the real Abraxis was something that the master of deception was good at. Also as soon as he was done with this Abraxis quickly used force clock to become invisible and then a touch of force speed to increase his pace.

He walked like a shadow through the station and the corridors of the damn Republic shipyard. He was pretty fast and was completely avoiding interaction with the the security forces as he headed quickly to the designated room. It was then not too long then when Abraxis noticed one of his comrades entered the room and started to shut it down the doors.

knowing the he had to move fast Abraxis increased his speed making sure to slid on the floor like a ghost. He then slided into the room before the doors were shut. It looked like it was only him and and angel in the room which made him feel much better.

"You almost locked off the doors on my head.." Abraxis muttered in a low voice as he putted off his force cloak.

Not receiving a response from the security outpost, Lieutenant Randall found all this way too disturbing. A repair crew that wasn't at their jobsite, nor at their ship, nor able to be found, and now the security outpost wasn't responding. It didn't help that the Padawan had noted the force sensitivity of another on the space station, though commenting that he hadn't been able to discern alignment, regardless though, Kidd was supposedly the only Jedi there... or was he?

"I've had just about enough of this," Randy stated as he turned from Kidd, looking over the ship once again as he called into his comm. "All stations. All stations. This is Lieutenant Randall. We are now at Threatcon Charlie. I say again, we are now at Threatcon Charlie. Scramble all security teams. We've intruders with unknown intent, though suffice it to say that our Security Outpost is currently unresponsive. Captain Baktah Mose will brief their physical descriptions. Captain?"

With that, Baktah Mose came over the comm after taking a moment to collect his thoughts. He hadn't really paid -real- close attention to what they all looked like, but had one of the security personnel at a sub-terminal pull up any footage they had of them from their cameras in the hangar where their ship was docked. They didn't have time to scour all the feeds for more shots. That would've been a task for the security outpost... which was currently non-responsive.

After a brief description of the team, folks really didn't have a whole lot to go off of. The Captain had been able to decently describe the leader, Kel? Rel? Feck... he couldn't remember his name. Coming over the god-mike, Baktah further added, "Initiate station lock-down. All areas; no exception. Security team access only with live-mikes. New security outpost is now central command. Engagement tactic alpha-bravo. Captain out." Krath-DAMNIT was he pissed now!! If he wasn't already upset about the delay in his station's production, this was putting him back even further... and let it be just one big misunderstanding!! He would have some -serious- words with that Kel fella. SERIOUS words.

Meanwhile, Lieutenant Randall had an idea, calling in a couple of techies, he began to give them specific instructions. He wanted answers!! As well as a back-up plan. They began to set to work.

((Switching to Kidd Vegas))

Kidd had only been able to read that force-sensitive who seemed neither light nor dark. Walking over to a layout of the station that was in the hangar, he began to try to pinpoint just where he had sense the Jedi... or whatever he was. Krath-damnit!! He just wasn't that skilled with the Force. Try though he may, all he could do was tell that he wasn't anywhere near the arm of the station that he was in. He had a sense that he was somewhere in the central core as it were, meaning not on any of the other arms, but even still, the central core encompassed numerous levels and areas. His information really didn't help anything at all.

Neither did he have a lightsaber yet either. Well, he did, but it was a training lightsaber. If there was a confrontation, he'd have to count on his blaster. At least with that, he was a decent shot. Alright, maybe okay. He hadn't won any shooting competitions or anything, but it was better than nothing. Wasn't it? If only he could use the Force like his mentor... He'd heard stories of how she had used telekinesis to pull opponents through the floor!! Granted, it was on a train, but still, quite an impressive feat. Kidd was lucky if he'd be able to throw a rock at them using the Force. Maybe not -that- bad, but right now, he sure felt like it.

"So Corporal Jiggs, I hear that your commanding Lieutenant is a bit of a tight wad huh?"

Trying to make polite yet playful conversation as they walked through the halls. Taking diligent notes of his surroundings, he wouldn't have much time to secure an alibi when the back up generators went dark. And in the back of his mind Batvan only prayed Angel was just as close to the MAIN power supply as he was to the reserve. Batvan walked alongside Cor. Jiggs, slowing his pace as he looked around.

"Now now i wouldn't say that. Sure he has a hard head-

At that moment Batvan noticed the room he was looking for. the sign on the door read "High Importance. High Voltage. Authorized Personnel ONLY." Time to get it over with.

But he shouldn't be called names..."

Batvan didnt respond as the officer finished his statement... and it would be his last. At that Batvan while holding his toolbox in his left hand, reached inside with his right, grabbing his garrote and in one fluid motion, pulled the garrote out and then took his toolbox and slid it on the ground forward in front of Jiggs. The sliding container distracted Jiggs for only a second, but in that time it was too late. The fiber wire was already wrapped tightly around his throat and relieving him of the last ounces of life he had left. Jiggs must have had an idea, perhaps he was panicking, perhaps he wanted to find help, or perhaps he wan naive enough to believe he could escape. Either way, neither man stopped moving and as the toolbox slowed down and came to a stop nearly 10 meters in front of where they were when the encounter began. Jiggs fell to his knees, blood beginning to surface from the wire digging within his flesh...and Jiggs closed his eyes for good as his face finally impacted the ground beneath. Without skipping a beat in his pace, Batvan proceeded forward and grabbed his toolbox once more and reversed his stride to enter the room.

The room was sealed with an encrypted keypad lock. This was a simply fix. Although Bat would have liked to do the cliche "hold the dead body up to the palm/retina scanner' this would be a simple entrance. Approaching the keypad, Batvan entered his toolbox and pulled out... a simple screwdriver. Thats right a screwdriver. He needed no nifty gadget, or a complex system to achieve the correct code. Now he took the screw driver and scrolled the durasteel tip across the touch-sensitive pad that registered the number sequence that gained entry. The driver was a flat head, therefore having ....a flat head... He took the flat edge of the tool and dragged it lightly across all 9 keys with a very delicate touch. Upon doing so The heat that remained on the active keys (because after all, no one TRYS to get into this room, if they want entry they already know the code) would activate off of the edge and trigger the button. after a slow and delicate touch the code was revealed '5643' ...never said the Republic was the most creative bunch...

Batvan then strode into the room and placed the screwdriver back in his toolbox and took a look at the 4 massive power-generator control computers in front of him. Bat set his toolbox down inside and nearly forgot an important detail. He walked back outside and then dragged the now deceased Corporal Jiggs into the room with him, making sure not to get any more blood on the floor aside from the small boot-print sized pool where his neck has just sat.
Dragging the man inside the bad news came-

The order came across the public bands and the call had been made. Their presence was compromised, which made the second half of their mission extremely difficult. Although they hadn't been individually identified in the broadcast, nor were their motives clear, the whole station was on to them and more to the point on the look out for suspicious activity.

Batvan went quickly to work and grabbed both of his remaining EMP grenades and placed them on opposite walls from each other. The computer terminals were located in a square shape, none within arms reach of each other. Bat placed on grenade between terminals 1 and 2 (as he aptly numbered them in his head) and one between 3 and 4. Bat then shut off his comlink and wristlet, and pulling out his slugthrower, placed bullet into both EMP grenades. The computers went hay-wire and promptly began shutting down. Bow Bat had to act quick. Ripping the power supply wires from the rear of each terminal, he too the wires from terminals 1 and 2, and tied them together as to keep power flowing. He repeated the process for terminals 3 and 4, and watched as the computers melted down...damn near literally.

Batvan strode passed his toolbox picking it up on the way out of the now broken and fried keypad and returned down the hallway as the call once again came over the comm, that there were intruders present. Soon not even the Force would hear their pleas...
