Hutt space
???? local time
Void stretched out as far as the eye could see. Gaz was once again in an Imperial shuttle, just like the one he was in some time ago when he was ambushed by Mandalorians. This time, however, he was far from Concord Dawn and Mandalore, where he hoped he was safe. They were in hyper space at the moment anyway, so nothing could touch them for now.

He watched the stars streaking by, ignoring the other Sith that were in the shuttle. It was, more or less, public transport for Imperials, and it certainly looked the part. The rusty shuttle was so old that Gaz wouldn't have been surprised if someone told him it had transported Empress Andraste the First herself. It had creaked a decent amount when it took off a few hours ago, but he tried to ignore it and instead thought to what awaited him when he finally made landfall to Kessel. What would he say to his father when they reunited?

They slowed down, exiting hyperspace, and Kessel stretched forward in front of them. Only there was another ship on its way. The pilots in the cockpit were silent for a moment, before the pilot stepped out.

"Hyperdrive's busted," he declared with an apologetic shrug. "We did a check before the journey but it seems someone got into it during the fuel check and kriffed it up." The Sith around the shuttle groaned, but the pilot continued. Gaz couldn't help but find it suspicious, but he kept his mouth shut, instead gripping the hilt of his lightsaber. "We can still make it, although it's gonna take us some hours to make landfall now." With that, he turned on his heel and closed the cockpit door. The engine started again, but this time they barely rumbled forward through space.

Jedrek needed allies, and he didn't really trust other Sith. Not that he thought they would stab him in the back, but he was sure many would. But rather because they lacked real life experience. Many Sith were born young and taken young to become Sith. While he started very late meaning most of his own training was rushed and lacking in certain area's. Not that it mattered much he was more focus in the martial aspects currently which suited him just fine. The power to cut though a person was to him far more enjoyable allowing for more savoring in a person's death then blasting with the Force while he wasted his own energy. Even if one could harass another's fear and anger it didn't grant someone unlimited power. No. Only training own's body gave such a feeling.

Now Jedrek had his entire outfit the helmet covering his face and the cloak covering most of his body, while two lightsabers were on his hips ready to be used to cut down any would be fools that tried to interrupt his nap. Or what passed for a nap on a ship that felt like it was going to fall apart any second. How did the Empire survive as long as it has if they allowed such poor infrastructure. Perhaps this was all a ploy to kill one of the passengers on this ship. It would be quiet interesting to have a ambush, ever since his training in the dark side he had become somewhat craving combat and death. Not that he was interested in it a whole lot before his training but after his sisters death revenge was the only thing on his mind.

And as they finally got out of hyperspace the ship slowed down to a stop. As if some sort of engine failure or the pilot and decided to stop just before our destination. Which only meant if he didn't continue to fly soon he would find himself without a head, as Jedrek would simply pilot the ship to the ground. Considering how Sith were considered better then average citizens he doubt anyone would care all that much.

But turning to his fellow passenger Jedrek could see him grabbing at his lightsaber which worried himself. So he also reached down to grab hold of it.

"Should we be expecting trouble friend?"
His voice directed to his fellow Sith, whatever was going on it didn't seem good.

"Not the first time I've seen this happen," he replied. "I may seem like I'm exaggerating, but it never hurts to be caref-" Something had attached to them. It was huge, and sent their shuttle flying to the left from the sheer momentum. This was clearly no stray asteroid.

He could see the metallic shape of another ship outside their window, and it seemed as though they were preparing to enter through the back entrance. Gaz stood and drew his lightsaber, looking around the room. Besides the man he'd just spoken to, there were 2 other Sith, but they were both fast asleep and it seemed nothing would wake them. He walked over to one and gave him a kick with his foot, his ignited lightsaber preventing him from getting too close, lest he impale the poor guy.

The instant his foot touched the man, he came to life suddenly, bursting out of the robes he'd been sleeping in. "For Mandalore!"

The tip of a blaster flew out as well, although he'd risen too fast for an accurate shot. The bolt flew by his head as Gaz impaled the Mandalorian through the heart, then turned to the second sleeping figure, impaling him as well. The latter was probably an actual Sith, but it was hard to tell who you could trust in places like this. He doubted he'd be lucky enough to have the shot miss him a second time.

He turned to the only standing Sith, the one he'd spoken to moments ago. "I suppose you're not rotten, since you'd have probably killed me by now, so I guess now is the time for us to fight our way out of this bucket." He glanced at the back door, which was bound to burst open at any moment.

Jedrek wasn't sure what to make of the man before he was thrown to the side of the shuttle by whatever hit them. The smack hurt but thankfully the helmet he wore provided protection against any serious injuries. Shaking his head the Sith stood up activating his own lightsaber and grabbing his second. Whatever was about to go on wasn't going to be pretty. Though his second lightsaber remain dormant until he had figure out what was going on. Turning to face his fellow Sith it seemed he was at least somewhat aware of the situation but as he went to the other passengers one jumped at him and just like that he was dead. Which wasn't a bad call considering what was going on, probably the call he would have also made. Can't take chances if one is being hunted down, and considering the man screamed out for Mandalore it clearly seemed like they were going to be attacked by some crazy Mandalorian's. A bunch of warriors that seemed to lack any honor despite their constant demand of it.

But before Jedrek could check out the other passenger who was probably knocked out by the ship getting bumped a lightsaber speared though him. With a raised eyebrow Jedrek looked to his man, someone who seemed to enjoy the killing a lot but maybe also a problem if he tried to come at him. Though he was sure that this Sith acolyte wouldn't be able to kill him Jedrek rather not fight a Sith while pirates seemed to attack them. But before he could decide either to attack the Sith spoke to him. Speaking of a truce while they dealt with what they had been given.

"I wouldn't call myself rotten but maybe somewhere in my core. But yes let us not waste time." Slashing the seat he had so that it could be moved, Jedrek used the dark side to empower him and helped him to move it to the center of the walk way as a cover for whatever happened.

"I suggest waiting back here while we got the chance."
Putting away the lightsaber in his left hand Jedrek grabbed his hold out pistol aiming for the door that seemed to be ready to burst.

Any second now things would get heated and the Sith was prepared, drinking in the death that just took place the Sith's eyes glow eye behind his mask as his heart began to beat within his chest. Battle was about to take place and he would have the chance to have some fun in killing some pirates. It had only been a couple of years since he was coward before thugs but now he was going to get a chance to fix that mistake.

He nodded, cutting open and pulling a second seat next to the first. Gaz took cover, his ignited lightsaber at his side, and the pirates burst in shortly after, the door flying forward and sailing over the Sith's heads. It hit the entrance to the cockpit, where the pilots were doing their best to get the ship going.

As soon as the Mandalorians were in sight, Gaz reached out with his left hand, wrapped the Force around the helmet of the first one to step through the door, and slammed it into the wall to their right as hard as possible. The body of the pirate crumbled, either concussed and temporarily knocked out, or dead from the blunt force trauma. A second warrior stepped through, opening a round of blaster bolts into the seats they were hiding behind. None got through, and the blaster was torn from his hands by Gaz, who threw it back down the corridor full of pirates.

Because the door was so small, it was hard for the Mandalorians to get through without creating a bottleneck, so only one could walk through at a time. This was a great advantage for the Sith, one that Gaz was using. Two pirates down, he gazed out and saw that more were approaching. He burst out from the cover and hid behind the wall to the right side of the entrance, his free hand reaching onto the belt of one of the corpses and pulling out a frag grenade. Gaz chucked it into the corridor and waited for the explosion, his heart racing.

It seemed his idea was so good in fact the other Sith seemed to do the same thing he did. Though that wasn't surprising he was full of good idea's that were just bobbling up to the surface. All he needed to do was to survive this and maybe he would get something out of this. Or at least some good stress relief. With the door exploding outward, the Sith prepared and once it was safely past him he would go into a couching position and firing into the enemies. But because he stayed behind his cover his bolts were wide but would strike one in the shoulder that was coming up in the hallway.

Right now this was a bottle neck, so it needed to be protected if they were to survive this day. Placing his pistol back he took out his second lightsaber and got over his barrier and stood there. Soaking up as many bolts as he could deflecting them into empty spaces of the ship. His full concentration was in his defense. Hoping to keep them from attacking his ally who seemed far more prepared then Jedrek gave him credit for. It would seem this man was no doubt well trained in battle and it was great for the Sith to watch.

With the grenade being thrown into the hallway, of the enemy. Jedrek jumped away from the entrance and towards his own ally but on the other side of the wall both blades lit prepared to jump into the death trap if necessarily.

"What is the plan my friend. Do we stay put and wait for them or shall we charge into the heart of this enemy?"
Jedrek was willing to follow the man's lead, but only to a certain point.

If this Sith would lead Jedrek to death he would find a blade in his back and Jedrek taking his chances alone in this situation.

"Gaz," he replied first. "That's my name." The Acolyte looked down the corridor, a comical cringe on his face. "Iiiiii guess we should probably go after them. Seems like all that's left are the pilot and copilot and I doubt they'll get out of their cockpit just to shoot us."

With that, he began walking down, lightsaber still ignited. He hadn't lowered his guard; he could be wrong, and more Mandalorians could be on the way, so it would be best for him not to relax yet. Alternatively, if his newfound ally happened to be as backstabbing as his previous, he was ready to defend himself. Hopefully it didn't come to that. Gaz just wanted to get to Kessel already.

Meanwhile, the pilot and co-pilot of the pirate ship were hard at work in the cockpit, although not completely oblivious. Being Mandalorians, they were armed and prepared for combat, although their ability to fight two Sith in close quarters combat was questionable. @Richie B.

Exchanging names now? Seemed like maybe not the best time to actually be sharing names. Not like they were in the middle of a serious fight. But maybe that was why names were important, since it allowed them to at least call out to each other. Though with how it was going so far not like they seemed to have to much trouble staying alive.

"Gaz, well the name is Jedrek. And I agree the pilot probably isn't a problem, let me go first." Stepping forward, Jedrek had both of his lightsabers out preparing for any attack's that came there way.

For now the lightsabers were in a x in front of him, as he slowly walked though the hallway. It didn't have a whole lot of space, so if there was a heavy repeater on the other end both of them weren't going to get out of here alive. But he didn't worry about that, pirates even Mandalorian ones rarely had such hardware. Unless this was more then just a random Mandalorian raid. It was a bit strange that the one now dead man screamed out for Mandalore. Jedrek wasn't too familiar with their history so many this was normal for them.

"So tell me you got any clue what is going on Gaz?" Jedrek wasn't happy but he continue to walk down the hallway ready for whatever popped out.

He stepped aside to let Jedrek cross, his ignited lightsaber scratching against the durasteel of the wall. The corridor was indeed cramped, although he hoped that wouldn't be a problem for them.

"Could be slavers trying to keep me from getting to Kessel," he said nonchalantly. It wasn't really oversharing if it concerned someone else's life, was it? "I have word of an... acquaintance of mine enslaved in the mines and I'm on my way to free him, but I guess I must've knocked on the wrong door at some poin-" One of the corpses on the floor had just moved. A blaster lay in its reach, and it seemed as though its hand had moved toward it--Gaz wasn't crazy.

He sliced its arm off, and wasn't shocked when the body let out a howl of pain. This one had somehow survived the explosion. "Well, now we know who to ask for a more concrete explanation," he called out to Jedrek. The Acolyte grabbed the Mandalorian by his shirt and pulled him up against the wall, noticing his legs had taken the brunt of the explosion and were embedded with pieces of metal. "What's your deal?" he asked the pirate, not sounding as angry as he was.

"Our deal? Di'kut, you were the one who stuck your nose where it don't belong," he responded, voice dripping with malice. "Next time, mind--" he let out a bloody cough "--your own business." With that, he slumped back and closed his eyes. He likely only had a few more moments of life, so Gaz shoved him back down and stood.

"I guess that answers it," he said, picking up the pace once more. @Richie B.

The sounds of Jedrek's boot hitting the ground created a small echo as he walked. So far this wasn't what he was expecting but as soon as the man began to speak Jedrek did his best to split his attention between keeping them save and listening to the man's explanation. So far it seems like this Sith was a trouble making which itself wasn't a bad thing, but maybe when it comes to causing problems was a bit far even for Jedrek. Who himself hadn't gotten the wrath of slavers, though to be fair Jedrek will probably be pissing people off soon.

But as soon he heard a slice behind him, the Sith wanted to turn around but knew better then to give someone a chance to kill him. So with that he yelled behind him hopefully to get some answers to why he was hearing someone screaming.

"HEY GAZ GIVE A GUY A WARNING NEXT TIME!" Jedrek yelled while the man spoke with a now supposedly very injured man, who probably wouldn't survive long from whatever Gaz did to him.

While he stood just in front of Gaz to ensure they both remained save. Listening to what was being said Jedrek kind of figured it was Gaz's fault that they were in this situation, maybe not completely his fault. Jedrek was at least self aware enough to know he probably would have done something similar if it involved his older sister. Heck if he actually had a real friend to begin with. Despite his anger at this situation he let out a sigh before speaking to the man again.

"Don't worry to much about it, whoever this person is better be worth it." Jedrek began to walk forward till he got to a point where the other ship's door was waiting them.

"Oh, he is," came the simple reply. The words carried a lot of emotional weight, although Gaz was unsure whether Jedrek would recognize it.

He stopped in front of the cockpit door, placing his hand on the cold durasteel. The Acolyte felt around within the Force, sensing two life forms inside, but nothing more. Still, the energy emanating from them did not signal panic. Rather, they seemed way too peaceful considering their situation.

"Something's up," he whispered. "Get ready for a storm."

The Acolyte motioned for Jedrek to move out of the front of the doorway and to take cover. Then, channeling the Force to his feet and taking a deep breath, he slammed his foot into the handle, slamming the door open. Immediately, repeater fire burst out, bolt after bolt of plasma flying toward the doorway. A shot hit Gaz in his gauntlet, and he felt it, while a second whizzed past his right thigh, burning it but embedding itself into the wall behind.

The Sith dodged to the side for cover as soon as the door was open, but couldn't have avoided the hits. Still, at least Jedrek hadn't taken any damage.

"Come out and fight, coward!" shouted a deep voice from within the cockpit.

Gaz once again channeled a small bit of energy to the palm of his free hand. He waited until the Mandalorian stopped shooting, and then stuck his hand out in front of the doorway, letting loose a burst of pure light. The effect was like a flash bang; the two pirates would be completely blinded for a few seconds.

The Acolyte burst in, embedding his lightsaber into the Mandalorian's diaphgram before he could even take his last breath. The pirate cluttered to the ground, repeater at his side, and Gaz slid into the seat of the shuttle, pressing buttons right off the bat in hopes of getting the hunk of metal moving. Jedrek had probably taken out his target by now, so Gaz spoke over his shoulder to the man as he piloted. "Seal off the docking tube." @Richie B.

Jedrek simply rolled his eyes, but he was somewhat alright with this. Sure it got him into a situation where he might get killed but it at least would be for something. Who knows maybe that was what he needed in his life right now rather then his blind rage. Not that Jedrek would ever admit that. For now though he was going to listen to the man so far it seemed that this little episode was going to be one for him to remember later. Maybe. Jedrek was still very much a person in need of some guidance.

So for now Jedrek listened to what his fellow Sith had to say. As right now survival was the more important thing right now. Not philosophy or what problems Jedrek was willing to admit he had. So going to the other side of the door prepared for whatever happened Jedrek saw that this man was ready for a fight and he was going to allow Gaz to see the best of him.

And when the door opened up the number of bolts that came by were crazy what was Gaz actually thinking? Using the Force to push him away from the door before he got to injured the Sith couldn't actually think that his fellow Sith was this foolish? Even if he could use the Force the dark side didn't make one immune to bolts.

"You are kriffing mad!" Jedrek only responded before joining into the room when his allow caused the bang of light.

Sure it was a impressive sight but the Sith knew it was not a move one could do in the heat of battle. Jumping in to tackle one of the pirate's Jedrek didn't see the vibroknife before it was to late and already within his shoulder, but it only took a quick swipe before Jedrek had removed the pirate's arm and he was left screaming. Removing the blade right now wasn't the best idea but the Sith did it anyway.

But when Jedrek heard Gaz tell him to seal the tube, he nodded and ran to the controls and slamming on the button that closed the door. For now he was left with the pirate who was still alive looking like he was ready to make his next move.

The Acolyte ignited his lightsaber into the pirate's back before he could make any further move. Hell, his arm was gone, so there really wasn't much he could do, but better safe than sorry. "Hey man, if you had preferred to take a few blaster bolts, feel free to let me know next time," he replied, switching his lightsaber off and turning his eyes toward the void ahead. Gaz had more or less managed to gain control of the ship, and now that the docking tube had just sealed, they were slowly pushing off.

"I'll drop you off on Kessel, and then we can part ways," Gaz said as they began picking up speed. Jumping into hyperspace was out of the question nowl they were too close for the planet and would just end up crashing. They'd have to fly the old fashioned way.

Hopefully, Visrik was still waiting for him on Kessel. @Richie B.

The fighting had seemingly ended for now. Which worked for Jedrek. His shoulder wasn't very happy right now, considering a knife just went though it. Yet that wasn't going to be enough to actually stop him, and considering that his fellow Sith Gaz cut the man down Jedrek was quiet happy knowing there won't be much in the way of danger from here on out. Ripping apart his cloak he began to bandage his own wound just as he done many times while as a Sith and during his years on Nal Hutta. A trick that many needed to know or death was going to be close behind them.

Listening to the man speak Jedrek simply raised a eyebrow not like his fellow Sith got out much better. He could still smell the smoke of burnt flesh on him. Still with the controls of the ship in his hand it wasn't like he was going to risk a quick and probably painless death of slamming onto the planet surface just for a comeback. Though there were probably worse ways to die. Though none come to mind right now.

"Would appreciate it, though hopefully next time we meet Gaz your buddies won't be also trying to kill me. Got plans for the future you know, that don't involve getting shot at just yet." Jedrek would finish with wrapping of his own shoulder just as he finished speaking.

Turning to Gaz though he figured he ask just a couple more questions.

"Who is this person your going for though? Seems like a lot of effort to just stop one person from escaping." Jedrek's helmet was one so his curious look was hidden away by it, thankfully so because Jedrek didn't want to appear like a noisy brat rather just a inquisitive individual.

Though the differences were few.

The ship was flying, surprisingly, with no problems. The Imperial shuttle was floating somewhere behind them, and would likely either be recovered by the Empire (which was unlikely considering they were in the Imperial Hutta), or taken in by pirates for scrap metal.

Jederk seemed like a nice enough guy, although he tended to say anything that went through his head, no matter how rude it seemed. If Gaz was an impatient Sith, he would have likely snapped sometime earlier. It took a few moments of contemplation before he could form an answer to Jederk's question. Should he give the whole story? Ah hell, why not?

While the man watched Gaz fly the ship, it seemed he was concentrating on that and going to ignore his question. Which was fine Jedrek was a almost complete stranger and hadn't really the right to know about someone else's personal life. If the situation was reverse Jedrek probably would also remain quiet. The less people knew of his life the better. It was dangerous to let people know to much, at least that is what Nal Hutta taught him. If someone knew you had a thing that could be exploited then they would use it.

But when he did speak Jedrek was somewhat surprised. The Sith had a complete different relationship to his own father then this man clearly had. It most have been nice having a father who clearly had done right by you. Jedrek knew his father wasn't always a coward but when the time came and he needed his own father, his old man fell short. And now that why mostly why he was even here, how strange. The Force was a strange thing indeed.

"Well if he earned your love like this, he most be a good man." Jedrek would remain silent the rest of the trip unless spoken to, as he simply thought of his own life.

How he got to his point and why his rage at his own man still hadn't lessen. It was his father's fault that he lost his sister, that he was a slave for a time and turned into this hateful person. But he somewhat enjoyed being Sith so it was all very confusing. Jedrek would stay into the vacuum of space as it bleed away to a view of the surface of Kessel strange things happened in life.
