Vestments

[fancybox2]Salazarrh is an intimidating full-blood Thrysian, 32 years of age, standing gaunt and imposing at 6’3. His black hair is tied in a ponytail, and his darkly-tanned skin is painted with intricate patterns of white, black, and red, depending on the situation. His eyes are a fiery yellow from intense exposure to the Dark Side, deep-set into a sharp, angular face, and will glow red after a successful ritual sacrifice. He wears a rather tribal outfit, a symbolic representation of the untamed ferocity of the Force, when performing ritual sacrifices, while elsewhere and in combat he wears Executioner’s robes that conceal his entire body, including his face. Underneath these robes in dangerous areas, he also wears a light variant of Inquisition Combat Armor, mainly to protect himself from blaster fire.[/fancybox2]
Dogma

[fancybox2]Salazarrh is an evangelist, with a fanatical devotion to the religious aspects of the Sith. However, unlike most who wish to hoard the power and knowledge gained through its study, he believes it is an ecstasy that should be shared throughout the galaxy. He feels as though Jedi, and most other Force sects, are woefully misled, and that it is Force-users’ birthright to rule over the entire universe. When the common masses are enslaved to the will of every greater being, he believes, the galaxy will be at its natural state, and peace will reign as sentient life completes its evolution to a higher plane.

To this end, he is an effective priest and missionary, whispering the word of the Sith into all who will listen. He does not tend to preach to the ungifted, however, saving his talents for Jedi and wayward Force-users. By showing them the power of the Dark Side, he believes they will eventually succumb to its influence and commune in its unholy miasma. He does this out of an uncharacteristic kindness and patience for a Sith, though it is heavily warped by the Dark’s influence.

Beyond his priestly duties, however, he is a charismatic individual when it comes to his compatriots. As long as you can wield the Force, you are worth talking to and understanding, in his eyes. Others are mere worms under the bootheels of the Sith’s war machine.

There is a raging inferno of anger underneath his outward calm, one that he has not yet fully bridled. When frustrated or losing in combat, it tends to show itself. It was one instilled in him not by any great and terrible tragedy in his life, but simply by the abuse and mental destruction he underwent as a child through training. It is mainly directed at his superiors; though he is sworn to the cause of Empire, he secretly distrusts and envies the powers of its masters, believing that he and only he can lead it into a new age of spiritual awareness. The power of the Dark Side is a tool to too many of its users (especially the Dark Council and the Dark Lord) to Salazarrh, rather than a sacred path to breaking one’s chains and self-enlightenment, as per the Sith Code’s direction. He covets a seat on the Dark Council to have a higher pulpit from which to teach, and is currently waiting for an opportune moment to strike.

He still possesses a softer side that mainly expresses itself through art, especially music. He is a student in bass guitar, and practices as a way of mastering his emotions, channelling it into an effective outlet rather than letting it control him. However, in the Sith, such things are often kept secret; at least, until he possesses the authority necessary to not have to care.[/fancybox2]
Catechism
[fancybox4=https://michaelbaatz.files.wordpress.com/2015/11/tumblr_ojsqumlc8x1vdtwgwo1_1280.gif?w=1152]Born to a prominent middle class Thyrsian family on their homeworld, he was destined for the Sith before he even exited the womb. His father, now a figure cloaked in enigma after he mysteriously vanished, was an intelligence liason for the Sacred Band of Ziost. He was indubitably somewhat unhinged, as he subscribed heavily to the Sith philosophy of self-liberation, taking his hapless ex-wife along for the emotional rollercoaster that followed their marriage. Upon his first-born son’s birth, discovering he was Force-sensitive, he was immediately shipped off to Korriban for training.

Before he could even walk he was utterly abused. Initially, he was a Sith Acolyte, subjected to brutal competition, harsh punishments, and gruesomely long hours of training. Being so young, he was broken with ease, and the fire that still burns within his heart today was ignited.

However, he was also consumed with fear and hopelessness as much as anger; he seemed doomed to fail rather than succeed, as he was surpassed by his peers and nearly killed on more than one occasion. He was living in hell every day, and nowhere near getting close enough to the autonomy that Sith Marauders possessed.

Then, he was discovered. Acting on perhaps a sign in a divination session, on the immediate commands of the Force, or perhaps just a whim, a cloaked and masked Priest of Tund pulled him away from his miserable existence. He was shown the power and spiritual tenets of the Priesthood, and his faith in the Dark Side and what it had to offer was re-ignited. Though they were seen as heretics during the Sith Brotherhood’s existence, he became resilient to petty attacks. He became stronger through a more arcane path than beating fellow students half to death with training sabers. He became the venerable Priest and Executioner of the Inquisition he is today.

He was filled with the ecstasy of faith and the conflagration of the unholy word of Sith dogma. He was once a slave to his masters. Now he was born again unto the Dark Side.

It was about this time that he also began to discover his knack for ritualistic ceremony; killing to most Sith was brutish and shameful; through the Priesthood of the Inquisition, he discovered a way to make it spectacular and purposeful, a sick exhibition of the Dark Side's power at its finest. His superiors duly noted his aptitude for the gruesome work, and he became one of the Empire's foremost executioners.

He also cultivated his desire to spread this word of power to the less fortunate who hadn’t yet received it. He was fanatic in his quest to convert heathens to the Sith religion, and he still is to this day. The bones of his failures line his walls and cloak, to remind him of his quest to discover a foolproof way to bring creatures of the Light into the Dark that he feels ever closer to discovering.

Salazarrh is on this quest of conversion even now. And if provoked, he is more than willing to flatten anyone who stands in his way.[/fancybox4]
Miraculous Works
[fancybox4=https://images.gr-assets.com/hostedimages/1421596208ra/13390159.gif]
The Blade: Despite being a priest, he has received training in lightsaber combat in order to meet the Jedi directly on their lower level of consciousness. He practices Form VI: Niman, due to its relative simplicity and effectiveness, as his inventiveness and creativity in both religious matters and combat is his greatest asset. Learning a style based on improvisation also allowed him to further devote himself to the arcane. He is not the greatest duelist, however, and will likely succumb to a true master of the lightsaber. His weapon, Blood Prize, is carved from the bones of a Jedi Knight he once bested in combat and executed.

Ritual Demise: As an Executioner of the Sith, it is his duty to sacrifice convicted enemies of the state, and is a master of intimidation and performance. For the breadth of crimes that can be committed against the Empire, from theft to high treason, there is a ritual punishment; each of them, Salazarrh has down to both a science and an artform. And for each soul’s light he extinguishes through ritualistic sacrifice, he subsumes its essence both into the Dark Side as a whole and into himself, making him stronger. (Given the time to successfully kill a player character through a ceremony, he will gain a substantial boost to his prowess in the Force until the thread ends, approaching Dark Council levels of power. However, he must be uninterrupted for at least three posts in doing so, otherwise the ritual is ruined and must be restarted.)

Master of Ceremonies: Salazarrh is more than qualified to lead other religious ceremonies of the Sith beyond execution, though he prefers to leave them to his brethren in the Priesthood.

Blood Magick: Much like any self-respecting Sorceror, he knows blood is the Force’s conduit between planes of existence, and a tremendous source of power. He uses his own to better focus his energies when performing rituals; a small sacrifice of his own power to receive massive dividends. If he gets his hands on someone else’s, however...they should probably consider themselves screwed. He can weaken, strengthen, inflict crippling pain on, induce hallucinations in, and otherwise kriff up the unwitting beyond all recognition. However, the blood sample he collects must be fresh, and getting one in the midst of combat is a challenge in and of itself. He possesses a sacred dagger inlaid with blood-collecting channels and anointed by fellow priests, (pictured in appearance) to achieve this end. It is resistant to lightsabers due to it being ensorcelled with Dark Side Energy, but it cannot withstand prolonged locks without melting.

Crystal Manipulation: He is also capable of channelling the Force into Kyber crystals that he has possessed and attuned to his energy, causing them to explode violently away from him. An arcane shrapnel grenade, essentially, for when he needs to clear out a room. He normally possesses three Kyber crystals charged and ready within his cloak, though he can only detonate one at a time.

Dark Compassion: He can be charismatic when needed, especially when attempting to convert Jedi heathens to his cause. Given enough time to know and understand what makes someone tick, he can utilize Dun Moch to great effect.

The Basics: Much like any other Sith, he knows how to perform feats of telekinesis and enhanced movement, though he prefers to utilize his more arcane powers to demonstrate his strength. Force Lightning and Choke are his go-to combat powers. It is also of note that enhanced movement tires him quickly, as prolonged exposure to the Dark Side is taking its toll on his physical stamina.

Moonlighting Bassist: Secretly, Salazarrh formed a jazz band with a motley crew of Inquisition Initiates and Imperial Stormtroopers. They play jam sessions and occasionally release albums and EPs under the name Dark Side of the Moons.[/fancybox4]

Material Possessions
[fancybox2]
The Blackstar: A personal freighter that Salazarrh can pilot passably. It has little to no combat capability and is designed to look like a civilian's personal ship, to travel unmolested by authorities.

Blood Prize: Salazarrh's lightsaber, made from the bones of a Jedi Knight.

Ceremonial Dagger: (pictured above) A Force Weapon anointed by the Priesthood of Tund before their transition to the Inquisition. It is a dark instrument, used in Salazarrh's executions and to collect blood from an enemy in battle. It is resistant to lightsabers, however it cannot withstand a prolonged lock.

Bass Guitar: A fine instrument for its kind. Sal possesses some skill with it, and plays in a band from time to time.[/fancybox2]

Communions

Segovax Gwyllon: His half-brother, a Templar of the Inquisition, born unto their mother and an unknown Echani father. Salazarrh currently has no idea he even exists.

Sorry to bother you @Malon , but would you be willing to look at this? I don't mean to be impatient but it's been in the sign-ups for a while now.
