Ello, everyone. So... lets see how to start. Likely with, this is my second Star Wars board I've joined(muse for the other one seems dead until further notice), so I'm just here to see how this goes. Nice to meet y'all and I've a few questions as well as my hopes that great stories will be made here.

1: Is the transfer of characters from another board allowed, or will I have to remake this character and start from scratch.
2. How many posts are required for making new species or planets?
3. I read the story of the site. Are there any other big events I should know about?

Welcome aboard! To answer your questions (assuming I'm not ninja'd)

1) Yes, but you're character will need to be adapted to fit with the board's setting and rules, and anything you did on the other board won't count for anything on this one.
2) No amount of posts are required for either.

Not to cut @Galavant off here (even if he does look ridiculous and gives horrible advice), but to answer your question, your rank and powers won't count for anything either, unfortunately. If you're looking to join any of the main factions, you'll start out at the bottom and work your way up.

Yup what Gamov said. We're actually switching to a new setting here soon which includes some pretty drastic changes to how ranks and powers are being viewed on the site. The timeline announcements board is the best place to look for information on how this stuff is going to work going forward.

At present the RP is still set in the future setting of a 1,000 years after the Battle of Yavin. That'll be ending within the month most likely however, and after that everything to do with the current timeline will be archived, and the new timeline setting of roughly a thousand years before The Phantom Menace will be the setting going forward.
