_Unlike many Hapans, Samara severely lacks in charisma and people skills. Her unknown past has left her with some very real emotional scars, resulting in her from forming the skills to interact with people all to well.


Force Powers

If Samara's reoccurring dream can be counted on as fragmented memories then there is a very real possible she had been trained as a Jedi by her father. Certain unexplained events have led to support this, but like everything else from before ten years ago Samara cannot remember that training. In the ten years since Samara has arrived on Kro Var she has been taken under the wing of Master Kaia Ryūjin, who when she learned that Samara held some force sensitivity began to train her in the disciplines of Air and Water.
Enhanced Speed:■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■
_Airshapers enhance their movement in battle; they can run swiftly by decreasing air resistance around them and even sprint across or run up vertical surfaces by generating a wind current behind themselves to propel them forward. When used by a skilled Airshaper, this technique can enable the Airshaper using it to travel at a speed almost too swift for the naked eye to be able to see properly. A master Airshaper can use this technique to briefly run across water.
Enhanced Agility:■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■
_Air movements can also be used as a levitation aid. Airshapers jump high and far by riding on strong gusts of wind and can slow or deflect falls by creating cushions of air. The constant movement required by this art makes airshapers naturally flexible and agile. Even without shaping they can easily maneuver around an opponent by ducking, jumping, and side stepping, appearing to flow around their opponents without expending any energy at all, letting the opponent tire themselves out and thus creating exploitable openings. This conservation of energy combined with high stamina gives them an advantage in prolonged combat.
Air Manipulation:■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■
_By using circular, evasive movements, Airshapers build up massive momentum; this buildup of energy is released as massive power. It also allows for wind-based counter-attacks that knock opponents off-balance, mimicking the sudden directional shifts of air currents. Attacks vary from simple gusts of wind to miniature tornadoes and cyclones, maintaining the circular theme. Even a simple movement can create an air gust and Airshapers increase the power of their moves by performing larger sweeps and spins, using the momentum of their movement to simulate larger gusts. This is also demonstrated with their use of staves or fans to increase or create precision within the air currents.
Healing:■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■
_Healing is a basic skill, one of the first a new apprentice begins to learn. Using water as a catalyst a watershaper is able to redirect force energies in the body to help speed the recovery of injuries. The ability to heal certain wounds and the rate of healing is based on the watershaper's skill level.


Skills
Ba Gua:
_This air martial art features swift, evasive maneuvers that evoke the intangibility and explosive power of wind, drawing energy from the center of the abdomen. Ba Gua, which utilizes circle walking, is known for its constant circular movement, which makes it difficult for opponents to attack directly or land a blow. Since it's always maneuvering, nobody can get a solid hold-on of this maneuver. Maneuvers employ the entire body with smooth coiling and uncoiling movements, utilizing dynamic footwork, open-hand techniques, punches and throws. A common tactic is to maneuver behind an opponent and mirror their movements, preventing them from turning to face the practitioner.
Taijiquan:
_Taijiquan is a martial art that features slow movements and elegant forms that evoke the feel of flowing water. Its strength is its great versatility. Rather than supporting a separate set of offensive methods, Taijiquan employs defensive techniques that can be transformed into attacks and counters - defense into offense. Instead of simply deflecting an attack, taijiquan's defensive maneuvers focus on control, achieved through turning an opponent's own strength against him, rather than directly harming the opponent.


Strengths and Weaknesses

Like all Hapans, Samara suffers from night blindness. This issue is a genetic mutation from generations of the near constant daylight of Hapes, even at night where the planets many moons reflect enough light to maintain the level of light. As such Samara cannot see more then faint dark shapes in the dark.

DESCRIPTION
On the ship Samara arrived on Kro Var with there was a small closet with Hapan style clothing. Thiese clothes includes a favored style of Samara's that resembles a kimono-like tunic, with split sides for leg movement. The tunic is usually short sleeved or sleeveless, and vary in shades of blue, purple, white, black, and grey.


DESCRIPTION
Samara owns an Sorosuub Horizon-class Star Yacht. What it has for an engine, what it uses for cannons, or anything like that she doesn't know because she stole it in order to follow her current leader. It looks relatively new, and from the walking around she's done in it, the ship is well stocked, showing impressive cannons and the standard engine type, but to what extent exactly she doesn't know.

DESCRIPTION
Xira is a rare black female Nexu. She was discovered by Samara as a young cub among recently arrived supplies. The Nexu cub seemed to have imprinted on Samara and since then she has not gone anywhere that the Nexu didn't follow her.

Personality

Samara is a gentle woman, one who doesn’t like to see others she knows hurt. She is calm, but can also be very energetic. She has a strong sense of justice, and won’t hesitate to take action when she's needed. Despite this however, she can be very analytical, and make decisions that don’t sound like herself. She tends to contradict herself on some situations, but moves on regardless, despite what people think. She also comes off as a head strong woman, whom once she has her mind set on something, it's very hard to deter her from that feeling. All in all Samara can be quiet, yet vocal when the time truly arrives. She holds anyone with more skill and authority in high regards, and rarely goes against there wishes.

Biography

Samara Galloway was born on Myrkr to Thomas and Esme Hunter. Named after her grandmothers Mulan Galloway, Ducha of Gallinore, and Samara Hunter founder of Hunter Technologies, Samara inherited both positions.
After the fall of the Empire Thomas Hunter moved the headquarters of Hunter Technologies from the families homeplanet of Hapes to Myrkr before Samara and her siblings were born. Growing up Samara had taken an interest in medicine was dreamed of attending the Medical school on Coruscant. Her family had other plans for her though. In a deal brokered with the Marzullo family an arranged marriage was planned between Samara and Gabriel Marzullo. Despite her abhorrence to this arrangement Samara fell in love with Gabriel and soon became pregnant at 18. Nine months later Esme was born, forestalling her plans for school.

In their quest for expansion the Empire set their eyes on the rich Myrkr. To alluviate any backlash Imperial troopers disguised as pirates led a bloody raid on the capital, Hyllyard City. Under the command of General Keyes, who held a vendetta against Thomas Hunter, the Imperial invasion force ravaged the city and Hunter labs.
Samara along with her brother, sister and daughter were evacuated to a hidden underground landing pad several kilometers from the city, though not before her parents were captured. Fearing the worst Samara left her siblings behind and snuck back into the city to discover the whereabouts of Thomas and Esme Hunter. What she found was Imperial forces descending upon the city under the guise of liberating it. Upon a platform in the city square was twenty of the city officials, including her parents.

After a long mock trial General Keyes moved down the line, personally executing each official including her parents. The deaths set off a force rage that had the city square in flames within minutes. Samara remembers little of that experience except waking up sometime after dusk in the middle of the forest, covered in blood with Sith Master Emyrc standing over her. The one clear memory she retains though is standing over General Keyes who was writhing in pain, before she brought her boot down hard on his head.

After the events of that day Samara left behind her entire family, her reasoning being she felt it was best and she did not want to harm them with her uncontrolled power. It was discovered that during the harsh and brutal training under Master Emyrc, that she had an iron will as she was Immune to even the strongest of mental probing. Through further training she learned to harness this power and use it to protect those around her. Her skills best served her in the form of illusions, Samara looked to dominate the mind of another rather then simply trick them. Besides her fascination with the mind that did not limit her lightsaber training. She became an accomplished duelist and used her saber training to center herself and control her emotions.
Though trained as a Warrior, she traveled to the planet Ruusan to study in it's library. Through her individual studies of old scrolls and manuscripts, Samara's attitude towards the Sith Order changed drastically. She believed that there was a greater destiny for the Sith Order wanting more then just dominance through wanton slaughter. This was a belief that she also instilled in the training of her Apprentices. She encouraged them to look beyond themselves and help the galaxy itself. Her new views constantly put her at odds with the more traditionalist members of the Sith Order.

Fives year after Samara's journey down the dark side started, she found herself baring witness to a horrific slaughter of a village on the planet Wayland. Many helpless women and children were slain all a product of Sith brutality. Shocked at the Malicious and Merciless act, Samara took action. She personally murdered each Knight responsible for such a horrid display of viciousness and went on to challenge the Sith Council itself for its use of such tactics. The Council however would have none of it, she was quickly arrested and sentenced to be executed.
She suffered torture at the hands of the Council and was prepped for execution. However a timely intervention by a number of the Marzullo family member's at the call of Gabriel Marzullo. Her life was sparred, her beliefs and devotions shook to the very core. Samara was unable to continue on as a Knight of the Sith Council. Her already weakened faith in the Sith Order from five years of study had finally come to a head, she left the Order and went into seclusion.

For a year Samara remained in seclusion on the ecumenopolis world of Taris. It was there that she discovered her innate talents were not a random fluke, but the result of an undiscovered neuro transmitter that interact with the force unseen in any other species. For months she tried to learn of the origins of this new step in human evolution but to no avail. It was shortly before the arrival of Gabriel a year after his rescuing of Samara that the young woman found the journal of a long lost Sith alchemist. It was there she learned the neuro transmitter was a sith creation, but was hidden away in a select bloodline before it could be used.
Eventually Gabriel tracked Samara to Taris. With their daughter in tow the Marzullo lured Samara out of hiding where he presented her with a choice. She could rejoin their family and help raise Esme or never be allowed near her again. Remarkably it was Esme whom touched her heart and made Samara reconsider her outlook. The exile force user sensed the budding darkness in the little girl and realized all her actions had ever done was hurt the ones she loved. Soon after Samara sought out the Jedi. Though she was shown typical distrust it didn't take long for her to be welcomed into the order as a Jedi Knight.

For the next decade Samara would spend her time on Naboo, learning all that she could about the lightside of the force. She attended the prestigious Theed University where she finally completed her dream of obtaining a degree in Medicine. Her discovery of the neurotransmitter also inspired her to get a degree in Xeno-Genetics. During this time, with the resources of the Jedi Order, Samara began to study this genetic abnormality and learned how to replicate it.
Samara also began to expand her skill with the force, finding that she was talented when it call illusionary abilities of the force. When she wasn't training a padawan Samara was tracking down rumors of such mental powers through out the galaxy. A habit that would sometimes put her at odds with the Jedi Council.

few years after Samara's return from Taris tragady struck when Gabriel Marzullo was murdered under mysterious circumstances. It was during this time that Samara had began to learn the turned about her husband. Through various contacts and a hidden safe that had kept Gabriel's most important files that their marriage had been a shame, purpetrated to gain access to her DNA. Working for the Sith, he'd used her genetics and Samara's own research to rebuild the original Memetic project, which resulted in Samara's clone Mikeala Volturi and a clone of Gabriel whom possessed a flash copy of everyone of Gabriel's memories. Though with Gabriel Marzullo's death the project died Samara fears that many more Volturi clones still exist.
Soon after the death Samara began to distence herself from the Jedi order and the force, instead looking to restore her family's name. After helping to free the clones Mikeala and Gabriel Volturi from the control of the Empire Samara sought out Mandalorians leaders, and building a trusting relationship with the Chiss. Together rogue elements of the Chiss, Hapan rebels, and Madalorians began plans for the liberation of their own worlds. Feeling that the war between the Galactic Empire and Rebellion was to blame for much of the suffering going on in the galaxy the three groups desired to not only free themselves, but to become active in bringing a peaceful resolution to the war.

After years of planning, and with the help of an Imperial assassination attempt, Samara and her allies were able to convince the Chiss ruling council in not only their triumvirate, but becoming an active force in their peace keeping efforts. With the backing of the Chiss Ascendancy, and reunited Mandalorian clans Samara lead the Triumvirate in their first action as a new galactic player, the reclaimation of the Hapes Consortium from Imperial hands. Unprepared the Imperials soon were forced to retreat outside the cluster when the exiled Queen Mother returned with a rebuilt royal fleet to rally the nobles to join the United Triumvirate.

Unless you've been allowed otherwise by the faction leader, starting out with anything other than a Padawan for the NJO is not allowed. You have to earn the ability to make a playable Jedi Master from scratch by making it to that rank with your first Jedi. Not to mention you have at least one banned Force power: Force Light. Now personally that's my favorite Legends Force power and I hate that it is banned, but rules are rules.

You are a fifteen year old character that have over thirty different force powers, that won't fly. Not with some of them being difficult to learn, the one that stands out the most in my eyes is shatterpoint. I'd recommend that you contact the NJO's faction leader and check what sort of powers a fifteen year old padawan might know.

EDIT: I would also suggest that you read up on the current timeline, link here. And make adjustments to your background story that fits the timeline and how it have progressed.

Hello, and welcome to SWRP.

You have a good start here, and I am happy you decided to join the Jedi Order. I myself have a Jedi Character, so yes!. It is nice to have another padawan.

Anyway, I have never had a shaper character, and I have only seen one member make one so far, so good job on that. It is nice to see someone pick a unique organization and rp being from that organization when it isn't commonly used.

Your abilities are way more than what it supposed to be. My Knight level character doesn't have as much powers as this guy, and even then, he hasn't mastered any of them. You should probably check this little guideline to the force, and the difficulty for mastering an ability. I know it is the Sith faction, but it should give you a rough idea of what abilities are overpowering, and what are not.

Anyways, getting to Jedi Knight isn't that had. It usually just looks like 10-11 threads, which is something that someone can accomplish very easily.


In terms of your character, I would advice expanding on the bio and the personality. You have a good start on the personality. Tell us how being a Jedi has defined him. How has being separated from his brother affected him? What about the NSI? How have the events caused by the NSI affected him? Also tell us about his strength, and weaknesses.

I suggest following this template that is on the bottom. It helped clear up the basic things for character profiles when I arrived on the site.

Everything folks have been saying is correct. Thanks to everyone for pitching in. TK, your character looks good as of right now. From the others' comments I can tell you toned down the profile from it's original state, and I appreciate your willingness to cooperating with our community standards, that'll get you a long way here. We appreciate friendliness and cooperation. The reason we start folks at a Padawan level is so that they can build and develop their characters through roleplaying - as story telling is what's important, not character ability. But,the latter will come with time, and you'll get to write so many cool stories before then!

Before I let the rest of the leadership approve your application, I'd like to see two things:

1. An expansion of your biography/history - the more background you can give before the point you want to start RPing, the more you can pull on that for roleplaying content! It doesn't have to be anything crazy, but a bit of an expansion would be good.

2. Your known force abilities do need to be adjusted even more. Same thing as I mentioned before, these should be developed in-character. When you write "X/10," your ability (x) is being compared to the best you could ever be (10). If she has received limited training from her father, she shouldn't have unlocked half or more (5 and 6) of her total potential (10). Lowering those down accordingly would be appropriate and appreciated.

The numerical levels are thumbs up, as my .gif may have suggested.

I would like you to clear up some of the language in the descriptions you use, if you could please. Healing, for example, is appropriate - the description correlates with the numerical number. Enhanced Speed is pretty good, as you identify that you the different abilities listed are only accessible by those with a certain mastery of the skill. The Agility & Manipulation descriptions are a good overall description of the ability's limitations, but are not appropriate for a practitioner of Samara's level - but, I don't think you were suggesting they were so much as describing the ability itself.

With that in mind, what I am asking is that you make the descriptions more uniform in that they are describing what Padawan Galloway can do, not what the ability itself does. Later, as your character practices and develops the skills via roleplay, you can come back and update your character profile with what Samara is now able to do.

I re-read that and it makes sense in my head - if you have questions or concerns, please don't hesistate to bring them forward!

Just a tiny little discrepancy that I noticed on my own read through here, under her Charisma stats you describe her as a Hapan, but her species is listed as a Human. You might want to change one of those just for consistency's sake as Humans and Hapans are actually different. Not by much, but enough where Hapans are actually considered "near-Human".
