ANCHORHEAD, TATOOINE
A small time mechanic workshop

It was a secret hobby of Leah's to come here at least once every week or so and work on any and all things that came into the shop. She didn't get paid for it, it wasn't that kind of arrangement, she volunteered her time working on anything that came through the door when she arrived. It was a means of relaxation for Leah, to disassemble and reassemble, to patch up and repair, it satisfied the tinker in her that longed to be able just to sit down and make something. And this week, she was in for a treat.

A local had brought in a Podracer, and Leah got to work on it. In truth she couldn't thank the owner, Jerada, enough. He was a tall and aged Besalisk fellow with a 'heart of gold' as Leah liked to put it, and the two became instant friends the moment they met- in fact, it had been him who spurred on her love for all things mechanical, and helped her breathe life into a talent she never knew she had. Leah would always be grateful to him for that among other things, and in truth, that was partly why she always came back... not just to take a break from the Galaxy at large, but to check in and help out. Tatooine was not the most hospitable place for most, and for all the help Jerada had given her, she felt she could never repay him- but she'd try.

"A friend of mine brought this in" His older voice carrying a hearty mirth to its throaty wobble "So try not to mangle the thing, mm?"
With a grin Leah smiled mischeviously and shrugged "No promises, Jera. Thanks again"
The old Besalisk merely waved her thanks away with a pawing of two large hands "You're welcome, as always. Have fun." and with that, Jerada returned to the front of the shop.

For a quiet moment Leah looked about the garage, admiring the vast components and droids that lay littered about the veritable treasure trove of what some would no doubt consider junk... but sat in the centre of it all was the Podracer. It was a pretty thing, if a little beat up, some kind of problem with the left engine shorting out erratically. With a roll of her shoulders Leah tugged one of the shoulder straps of her black bodyglove, threw on some gloves, adjusted the goggles on her forehead, and hit the garage door activator.

Yellow sunlight bathed the garage slowly as she set to work, allowing the people outside a look in as she enjoyed that fresh breeze and natural light. For a moment she spied her lightsabers, sat neatly in their holsters, and content they were modestly out of sight to all but those who really looked, she set to work on the Podracer.

A few minutes would pass, and she would hear the voice of Jerada once more
"Hey Lee!"
"Yeah?" she called back.
"You got a visitor!"

Ela sighed lightly her arms crossed as she leaned up against the side of a wall in the merchant district waiting for her sister to finish her 'shopping'. Ela didn't much care for things in life, she dedicated herself to only two thing which where mechanics and her sister. Ela once again let out a bored sigh and looked over at her sister who was still bent over the same stall looking at all the objects on the sale table before Ela set her sights into the distance taking of a note of a little mechanic shop which might 'save' her from this boredom, Ela figured that if Eda could look at things then she could do the same. "Hey Eda, I am just gunna head over to that parts shop down the street when your finished come and get me." Ela pointed her hand in the general direction though she didn't move from her spot as if she was asking for permission to leave her sisters side, Ela knew full well how it felt to be apart from her sister.

Eda still focused on the small plants and small bio-organisms lifted her hand waved to her sister. "That's nice." Eda chirped quickly as she honestly wasn't paying to much attention to her sister and she was fascinated on how such small things could survive in this harsh environment, she secretly wanted to take them all home to dissect and experiment on though she knew she couldn't afford all of them right now. Eda was in her own little world when she was looking at xenos though she always kept in mind not to make her intentions known as her and her sister came to this barren planet to hide from the Hapen Government but then again doesn't everyone come here to hide she thought to herself.

Ela let a childish grin cross her face as she 'got permission' to leave her sisters side though Ela knew that Eda wasn't paying much attention and Ela would probably get in trouble later but she was so bored looking at 'weird' things with her sister it was almost like she just needed some air. Ela pushed herself off the wall kicking the sand off her boots and made her way over to the mechanic shop a small spring in her step, on her way over the wind slowly started to pick up so she pulled some cloth over her mouth to lessen the dust in her already dry mouth. Ela strolled into the shop and pulled the cloth down and away from her face though she left her goggles on as she wasn't too sure on how long she would be inside, she knew it was only a matter of time until Eda felt the absence of Ela. Ela slowly strolled around the shop looking at the parts in the walls, though she wasn't looking for anything specific she would have loved to find some broken weapon or engine parts to work on or add to her various unfinished products. Suddenly Ela felt something she had not felt since she was apart of the initiative though is wasn't a dark feeling well at least not now. Ela turned to the man at the counter and asked quietly a little on edge from this feeling as she never had a 'nice' encounter with these types of feelings. "Is there anyone else here?"

'What do we have here?' Thought the man, a brown cloak wrappimg about his shoulders, hood obscuring his physical vision. Through his mind's eye he could 'see' the aura of a force sensitive woman inside of a nearby mechanical shop. It was small, not the raging maelstrom of a powerful crusader or radiating light of a foolish knight. Rather, it was the quiet, subtle aura of one who either had very little training or untapped, latent abilities.

Either way, that made her a target of interest. His murky, glassy black eyes seemed unmoving as he scanned for the entrance of the shop. Another had just entered, one who's fate seemed strong but was not the focus of his interest. Curiosity overtaking him, he stepped lightly towards the entrance, slipping in silently after the first woman. Without hesitancy, he moved towards a nearby cabinet where he examined a few protocol Droid voice modulators.

Extending his senses and removing his hood as to not appear suspicious, he reached out with the force, seeking to touch the mind of the woman in the back. A simple brush to let her know of his presence, and to show he knew of her's. Maybe she'd run, maybe she'd investigate, the Dark Sider known as Cairin Doyle hopped for the latter.

"Welcome to Tinker's Emporium, im Jerada" the bloated Besalisk would announce as Ela came into the store, his eyes only briefly lingering on Cairin before they quite happily pushed themselves back to Ela. In comparison to that... man... who just strode on in, she girl was a joy to look at and positively beamed with light unlike Doyle. Jerada wasn't even force sensitive, but the feeling he was getting from that figure, now dehooded, gave him the willies.

Jerada would usually follow with a pitch when he said that line, but with the dark sider distracting him, he realised too late and could barely forge one syllable before-
"Is someone else here?" the Besalisk, stumped, folded his upper arms and rested his bottom fists upon his wide waist as he grumbled for a moment, his throat letting a gargling rattle free as evidence to his pondering.

"Yeah, got a gal in the back... give me a sec" With a grumble Jerada turned towards the backdoor, and called out. He wasnt worried about strangers seeking Leah out, after all, he had every confidence she could look after herself. He'd seen her take care of business when need be. With a hacking groan he cleared his throat and shouted.

---------

"Hey Lee!"
"Yeah?"
"You got a visitor!"

In truth, Leah already knew... and she sat there overcome with a sense of coldness, something she thought impossible on a planet so arid and dry as Tatooine. There were two presences, and one was decidedly brighter than the other... and the other was dark in a way she had only experienced perhaps once before. For a quiet moment she sat there looking back at the doorway, managing to catch a glimpse of Doyle through the beads that divided the garage from the shop front. Her sky blue eyes didn't want to settle on him, as though his very visage was somehow warped and distorted in a way that couldn't be seen with human eyes... but boy could she feel it. With a grunt she looked back to the Podracer and caressed the length of one of it's turbine blades before begrudgingly raising from her stool and closing the garage doors again.

'I wont be long' she thought, tapping the bulk of the engine with a resounding metallic 'thunk'. Quickly she looked down to her thighs and the tool belt about her waist, and with a quick click she buttoned her Lightsabers down inside leather holsters, one on each leg, surrounded by spanners and wrenches to obscure them. Last thing she wanted was someone casually spotting them, but she didn't want to be without them either. After a moment she settled herself and reached outwards, feeling for the brightness despite the darkness that surrounded it, and rolling her shoulders she made her way to the front of shop, radiating an essence of calm and warmth. Her partial attempt to counter the darkness of Doyle.

"Hello?" Leah said quietly, her brow cocked inquisitively as she pulled apart the beads as she slipped inside the shop, taking off her gloves as she did so. Looking at Ela, no immediate memory spring to mind, the girl was a stranger to her... but there was a presence about her. Was she force sensitive? In Leah's head, it made sense, the feel of this girl seemed to indicate such a thing. Regardless though, she flashed Ela a bright smile and hooked her thumbs in the front of her belt as she took a curious step towards her "Can i help you?"
All the time she stood there she was alert, spying Cairin, locking the dark sider in her peripheral... what did he want here? Whatever it was, Leah couldnt help but worry.

Wandering the streets dodging in and out of the various shops Ko'vas just browsing through looking for parts for his current project while looking for possible work. Any work really to help get him going again after pretty much just getting dumped off here. 'New tech to study, that is what I need.' Ko'vas thought to himself raising his spirits as he continued through the crowded shops scrolling through a parts list for his projects.

Turning a corner Ko'vas caught the sight of a unusual looking vehicle across a small opening in the district as a garage bay door began to close in front of it. Quickly jogging across the distance to get there but slowly down as the garage door closed. He caught a glimpse of a woman leaving the vehicle before turning his attention to admire the vehicle's outline. Ko'vas stood there intrigued and curious trying to figure out what the vehicle did or was unknowing that he was now leaning against the door.

'That is an interesting looking vehicle. I wondering if that woman knows what it is?' Ko'vas thought to himself as he pulled up his vehicle data before turning and making his way to the entrance of the store. He paused at the entrance noticing the group of people standing there with all but one having some type of aura about them but pushed it aside for the curiosity of the vehicle was greater at the moment. He closed his list and stepped inside approaching the man by the counter but stopping short as to not interrupt the current exchange taking place in the store and cause problems for himself.

Ela looked over the shoulder of Leah and saw the machine that she seemed to be working on which made her smile a bit, as Ela found that women mechanics seemed to be rare in the area, most women seemed to work stalls and shops but seeing Leah in a mechanics attire brought an ease to her mind but at the same time Ela was also curious on what Leah could be working on. “Um sorry for calling you out but I was curious if you had any working machine parts or weapon parts I might be able to look at and maybe ...” Ela’s mind wondered back over to the machine in the garage before Ela shook her head trying to get back on top. “I am looking to buy working parts but I need certain parts, more so parts for an antique hyperdrive.” Ela said plainly. A little embarrassed she brought her left hand up and gently rubbed the side of her head knowing that she wouldn’t have stuttered if her sister Eda was here and the link between the two was more thin then she had hoped. Suddenly Eda felt a chill causing her to bring her hand back from her head crossing her arms her face hardening slightly though she attempted to keep a friendly appearance though charisma and public speaking was more her sisters suit then her own. Ela looked over to the dark male figured who had just entered the shop the chill seemed to follow this man, Ela tried not to focus too much on this cold feeling though she could feel a small amount of sweat on the back of her neck. Just then another man had entered the mechanic shop, this place was quickly getting busy was it a really popular shop? Ela thought to herself in an attempt to put her mind to ease and back on the hyperdrive parts.

------

Meanwhile Eda was still pondering over the little creatures and plants at the stall though she could feel something nagging in her mind which was starting to throw off her concentration though she attempted to suppress the nagging voice as she still figured that her sister was nearby so their link should still be strong. Suddenly a small chill made its way down the back of Eda’s neck which caused her to snap out of the trance she was in while looking at the little creatures. “Did you feel that too Ela?” Eda asked before looking around to see that Ela was nowhere in sight, now knowing that nagging voice was the link being stretched thin Eda sighed and moved back away from the stall and brought the sand scarf back over to cover her mouth and nose as she hated the sand it got everywhere and was a pain to wash out even with her sisters’ help. Eda quickly shook ‘that’ thought from her head as it wasn’t the time or place, first she had to find that mischievous sister of hers then try to convince Ela leave this city too as Eda liked to stay as far away from these ‘feelings’ as possible since they don’t bring good memories or times. Eda slid her goggles back over her eyes top keep the dust away from her delicate eyes as she began to scan the surrounding for her sister or a place she might have gone, picking out the mechanic shop down the road she closed her eyes and focused in that direction before chuckling. “Oh Ela you are so predictable.” Eda was about to open her eyes and make her way over before the sharp cold returned to her as she was focusing. “Oh no I hope she didn’t do anything stupid.” Ela tightened the wraps around her head to keep her hair from being exposed to the dusty wind and began her way over to the shop slowly using her fingers to loosen a Zenji needle from inside her dusty cloak.

Cairin did not grin as Leah's eyes brushed over him, his own staring right back at her, though his pupilless eyes made determining the direction of his gaze almost impossible. Making no moves away from the cabinet, he silently waited and listened for an appropriate moment to enter the conversation. There would be no awkward interjection from him, after all, there was no need to force his hand at the moment. He wanted a peaceful conversation with this woman, despite his aura giving off the opposite sense.

Cairin breifly wondered whether or not the second woman had sensed him, although he did not dwell on the thought; it did not matter one way or the other to him. Hearing her ask about an ancient hyperdrive, Cairin took his chance and stepped towards the bar. His expression neutral, he interrupted, "Pardon my interruption, I couldn't help but overhear you talking about an antique hyperdrive. Could it be you have an antique ship on your hands? I'm quite the Starship vessel conneoseur and would love to see it."

Looking to Leah, he added, "If you don't mind, miss, that is." The question was almost rhetorical, though he appeared to ask it sincerely. After all, for what logical reason would she have a problem with him tagging along? This was a machine shop on tattooine, not exactly the Roll's Royce Speeder Co.

Leah glanced across to Jerada as she listened to the pair of them, a look of confusion on her face. It wasn't her shop, she didn't have the authority to say 'yeah come on back!' and so she glanced over to her Besalisk friend with a minor pleading expression. With a chesty chortle, he simply nodded, and turned to face the newcomer who had just came in. Leah glanced over him for a brief moment, before her gaze settled back on Ela, darting on occasion to Cairin as she cleared her throat to continue.

"Well, Antique parts are actually rather common here in Anchorhead, though not many worth their salt... covered in rust, or just so old they're not up to a usable standard anymore" she ran a hand through her wild blond hair before continuing "But we do have some parts here that might suit your needs, unlike those places, we don't deal in junk" with small smirk she nodded to Jerada, who was currently engaged with Ko'Vas. Her gaze lingered on him for a moment, studying him inquisitively, before she drew her attention back to Ela and Doyle, pulling back the bead curtain.

"If you want to come with me to the garage, we'll have a look around, see if we can find something you can use" she held that curtain open for Ela to pass under, and found herself looking at Doyle. Specifically, those eldritch inky black eyes. Was he looking at her? at Ela? Jerada perhaps? it was impossible to tell. But there was something predatory about that eyes, like they had come from the deepest blackest parts of the ocean. It unsettled her, though her calm remained. "If our guest here is alright with it, you can come back as well. Just... becareful. Got a lot of delicate parts in here and a project im working on, so watch your footing" while those words were initially for Cairin, the last part was for both. Last thing she wanted was something breaking- though she held a firmer belief that Ela would be very careful, after all, like Leah herself she came across as a bit of a tech nerd and that particular fact made the young padawan smile out of sight. Like Ela herself, she didn't really encounter too many gearheads who were women.

Once Doyle and Ela entered the garage, she would follow behind them and hit the garage door activator once again, allowing the poorly lit treasure trove and workshop flood with natural light once more. "Welcome to the workshop"

-----

As Ko'Vas walked inside, Jerada turned to face him with a grin on his lips. 'Something must be smiling on me' he thought 'hardly ever this busy!' and clearing his throat in that phlegm-filled way he planted his four hands on the counter and leaned forward welcomingly.

"Welcome to Tinker's Emporium, im Jerada. How can i help you here today? We have a special offer on droid voice modulators today, if you're interested!" a large hand raising and pointing to the cabinet Doyle had left to join Leah and Ela in the Garage "Or are you after something specific, my friend?" his curious tone lingered with that, as the aged Besalisk did manage to catch a glimpse of what looked like a datapad in Ko'Vas' hands "Might be able to help with that too"

The amount of credits demanded for a protocol droid was outrageous. She grimaced to herself, shuffling through the streets and ducking in and out of shops. Her patience was wearing thin, something that would be catastrophic if she became unhinged. Controlling whatever little emotion she could, the woman spotted a small mechanic workshop. It looked simple enough, and she couldn't fathom the prices being outrageous based on how everything appeared to be put together with spare parts. This was exactly what she was looking for.

Stepping in, she realized the workshop was already crowded. She kept her hood low, approaching the Besalisk who had introduced himself to another customer.

"Hello, do you have any protocol droids in stock?"

She could sense Force presence in the workshop, but she chose to ignore it. She didn't entirely hide her own aura, and there was something rather distasteful about it. In the plane of the Force, her aura was about as pleasant as rancid meat that had been sitting in the Tatooine heat for days. The woman appeared unconcerned by this, drumming her long fingernails against the table awaiting an answer, her freakishly pale skin a stark contrast to the black garb she wore.

Ko'vas turned his attention to Jerada as he welcomed him into the emporium and his energetic welcome helped him relax as he followed where Jerada pointed. Just from walking in there was more to see in the shop then just the vehicle he caught a glimpse of earlier. Silent for a moment as he scanned the room before turning to face Jerada again.

"Sorry about that, just so much to look at in here." Ko'vas replied with a slight smile before typing on the datapad keys on his left forearm bring up a list that scrolled on his visor. As Ko'vas scrolled, another Force aura filled the area causing him to turn to see another woman enter the business standing next to him. Her asking about droids focused his thoughts on to what he was looking for.

"Speaking of droids, do you have any R series parts available?" Ko'vas turned wandering over to the cabinet to take a look at the special's Jerada mentioned as waited for his response to the sudden questions. He slowly inspecting and studied that various modulators looking for any problems or shorts in them as he waited intriged by the various designs.

Ela turned her head towards Cairin as he asked about her find; with her arms still crossed she was still a little on edge from all of the force sensitives’ in the general area, which was starting to make her sick to her stomach. “This planet I find has many buried treasures, I did happen to find a nice ship buried in the sand, and if I am correct it is one of the old YT series. Though it’s mostly rusted out and filled with sand and well mostly buried still, from the layout and if my books are correct I’d have to say it’s either a seventeen sixty or a smaller twenty-five fifty.” Ela nodded and smirked lightly still proud of her find and to date it really was the best find so far on this planet and the only thing really keeping her from finding a way off planet. Ela turned back towards Leah once she started speaking again about the parts in the city being more common in the city which brightened Ela’s deteriorating mood as she had mostly been scavenging parts from scrap heaps and liberating parts from the greedy collectors who were not going use the parts for anything other than collecting dust in a case. “I have also read that they were a more rare ship to begin with during the old civil wars so I am not too sure how much you can help, more so because I can’t afford the new reproduction parts that the major companies are pumping out.” Ela moved one of her hands to rub the back of her neck remembering how much they really had though she quickly perked up when Leah offered to show her the workshop, surely she might be able to find something in there so she followed Leah into the workshop glancing over at the various pieces in the room just as Leah opened the garage door bringing light to the room. “I think the Besalisk man at the counter called you Lee? It would be rude to go further without introducing myself. My name is Ela, it’s nice to meet you.” Ela removed her glove and offered her solf pale white hand to the girl in an attempt to be friendly and keep up appearances though Ela did wonder if Eda would be mad at her for using her real name.

-----

Eda kept most of her face covered with the brown dusted shawl and goggles her hazel eyes blending in with the dust that covered the most of her goggles as she moved towards the shop walking with a heavy step as she was more upset with Ela then worries because has seen when Ela is capable of if she gets into a bind. Upon arriving at the mechanic shop she leaved up against the wall outside and attempted to feel for her sister while listening to what may be happening inside though she didn’t hear any commotion but the feelings where strong in here which brought back more pleasant memories for Eda though she won’t admit it due to her sister Ela really hating the ‘old days’. Eda has so much fun work to do back then and she secretly wanted to return to her old work but alas this is how she had to live for the time being. Eda was lightly startled as the garage door opening next to her it was something that she didn’t expect and curious as she was she couldn’t just look inside as in the area not all prying eyes are welcome so instead she flipped the Zenji needle around and leaned the gem on the end of the needle towards the open door in hopes to use the small refection to see who is inside. It took a few moments but Eda could finally make out the reflections on the gem and upon seeing her sister unharmed it brought slight relief to Eda even though she knew Ela could take care of herself.

Walking with Leah, he absentmindedly listened to the young girl, Ela, speak about her ship. Honestly, he could not care less about ships, parts, or anything of the sort, at the moment the only person he thought of was Leah. There was something strangely fascinating about her. Blonde hair brushing about her shoulders, Cairin almost smiled as he watched her striking blue eyes dart occasionally his way. He off put her, it was clear. While he off put most people, the fact that he unsettled her in the least was cause for his interest to pique. She was force sensitive, but likely had not many encounters with his kind, that made her innocent in a way, corruptable.

Suddenly, an entirely new feeling washed over him. A vile mixture of rot and blood, his flooded his senses to the point where he could almost smell the delicious scent in the physical world. He knew this feeling, or rather, his former knew this feeling. A grin came over his face, he could not stop it from creeping up on him. Unbidden, the thought of one who was no more within him struck itself upon his mind, his former's name for this one, She of a Thousand Sorrows.

He almost laughed at the stupid naivety of the Sith's body whom he had taken. Rather, however, he simply ceased to grin and remarked to Leah, "I believe a guest most wondrous has just arrived." To be perfectly honest, Cairin could not be more happy. The chance to meet someone who far surpassed even his greatest expectations of himself, that was not a chance that came too often. The only thought in his head now was contemplative of whether or not he should stay with Leah, or go investigate their visitor.

The moment that she entered, Jerada felt a chill hurtle down his spin and stop in his gut like a lancing icicle. He imagined Leah probably felt it too, he knew what she was like, she was more open to these kinds of things than anyone he had ever known... the reason for which became clear to him the first time she returned to the Emporium, Lightsabers upon her waist. The question poised by both she and Ko'vas lingered in the air as the brutish Jerada caught words in his throat, and with a hearty cough of a chortle, his lips found momentum once again.

"Well my friend, here at Tinker's we like to keep well stocked with quality parts and machines" his most charming reptilian smile flushed upon his face then, and one of his large muscular arms swept the shop "If you get caught up looking, i take it as a complement. Now to answer both your queries..." his eyes moved then to the woman, before they darted back to Ko'vas almost thankfully "We do have what your both looking for. We have an old R series parts, im pretty sure of that, i think Lee would know for sure. She's in the back" and with that he would gesture over his shoulder with a shove of a meaty thumb "We got one protocol droid back there too, little bit of a fixer-upper though. Your welcome to go back there too, could be a little cramped though, between all the parts, droids bits, and the Podracer we have sat back there, not to mention some other folk"

With that Jerada simply pulled back the bead curtain to allow the Woman and Ko'vas enter the spacey garage "You spot anything you want to buy, just give me a shout. Lee can give you any information you might need, shes the one in the sleeveless bodyglove with the tool belt"

---

Within the garage Leah smiled once again as she saw that Podracer, its hovering frame a welcome vision despite the slowly darkening aura descending upon the Emporium. It had sharply gotten worse the moment they entered the back room as a new presence entered the scene, abyssal and fetid, it rang with disharmony in her soul and left a phantasmal stink in her nostrils. 'What the crazy mynock spit is that?' she wondered to herself, but swallowing her worry she turned now to face both Doyle and Ela, offering the pair a soft smile.

When Ela introduced herself Leah found her soft smile become warmer and a light chuckle rolled free of her lips, taking the girl's now gloveless hand in a firm shake of her own "Yeah, Jerada likes to call me that. My name's Leah, or Lee, if you prefer. Its nice to meet you too, Ela" with a wink she drummed her hands off the engine of the racer and leaned herself back upon its bulk. When Ela spoke of her find, Leah found herself listening to her attentively.

"An old YT? That's an impressive find, was that out in the Dune Sea?" Leah liked this girl, Ela knew what she was talking about and it was refreshing- a fellow gearhead at last! "And you're absolutely right, the YT's were fairly rare, only so many got built. There are some still flying around today despite everything, but they can quite the collectible." and with a wink she glanced across to Doyle.

His words of a new arrival, well, the term 'wondrous' felt like the most inappropriate one that could've been applied. Monstrous, baleful, insidious- either or all were better than 'wondrous'. Internally she prayed that there would be no violence, at least not in Jerada's shop. This was his life... if it was damaged or worse yet destroyed because of her presence within it, she doubted she would ever forgive herself.

A quiet moment passed, and she glanced around the Garage before speaking again "So, Ela" she said with a smile "Feel free to have a look around for any parts you might need... you too" she said, offering a polite but curt nod to Cairin "If there is a specific part, let me know, and i'll know if we've got it or not" then, with a nervousness she couldn't suppress entirely, she looked through the beads being held open and into the front shop beyond. Wondering who was going to step inside.

As Jerada mentioned Podracer pulling back the curtain, Ko'vas intrigued took over. "That's a Podracer? Looks nothing like the ones back home." he unintentionally said out load as he quickly stepped through the beads heading to where he saw the Podracer sitting earlier. He wondered carefully but decisively towards the Podracer forgetting about the R-series parts he was looking for.

"Excuse me please." He stated as he approached a group of three people quickly looking over their Force Aura they sent out replying "Thank you." as he steeped past to stand up along the left engine of the Podracer. Not wanting to get in trouble, Ko'vas tried to fight the urge to not touch it instead typing on his datapad keys entering data on the design into his database. His intrigue caused him to forget the other people in the room as he bent under various parts and walked around the far side trying to study as much he could muttering to himself about how it compared to the Podracers back home.

He finally made it around to the other engine before snapping out of his intrigue and focusing back on the people on the room. "Oh, sorry if I'm interrupting but I'm looking for someone by the name Lee. Jerada said she could help me find some R-series parts. I zoned out when Jerada mentioned Podracer and don't remember what he said she was wearing." Ko'vas mentioned with a slight embassred smile as he shut off his datapad link to his visor.

Ela nodded and relaxed her posture letting herself slouch a little bit before feeling the warmth of her link with her sister strengthening, it was a welcome feeling in a place full of people like these though Ela was starting to like Leah. “Yea it was buried a little ways out there but it doesn’t take too long.” Ela was careful not to give too much detail on the whereabouts of her treasure as to many ears where listening. “If you are interested I could use some help with that hyperdrive core and a few other things if you are not too busy with other things.” Ela smiled and slid her hand back into the glove before looking over her shoulder at all the items on the shelves as it seemed that others were looking for Leah.

Eda sighed and took a few steps into the garage her shawl covering her mouth and hair while her goggles kept her eyes covered. “Ahem, Ela what do you think you’re doing?” Eda asked keeping her hands under her cloak the Zenji Needle not leaving the cover of the cloak as she was more wary of strangers and especially Xenos.

Upon hearing her sister Ela straightened her posture as children would when they got caught doing something mischievous. “Oh hey sis, I was just looking at things for our ship.” Ela swallowed hard since she had an idea of how much trouble she was in for running off. “I didn’t go that far plus I could still tell about the thing.” Ela tried to wiggle her way out of any trouble and slowly pulled her scarf back over her mouth and cheeks to hide some embarrassment.

Eda Sighed and lightly rubbed her temple with her gloved hand. “What I am ever going to do with you as your bigger sister you really should listen more carefully to me or you’ll end up getting in trouble.” Eda looked past Ela to take a glimpse at who Ela was talking to and then to the chilling man, Eda dared not to look inside the shop for the feeling inside made her weak.

Well since you’re here now too you might as well look for some things that I can use to build your projects.” Ela surrendered command back over to her sister but not after getting a quick remark in. “Oh and remember you are only a few seconds older.” Ela chuckled and nodded at Leah before heading into the back of the garage towards parts which looked like salvageable engine parts.

Eda watched as Ela retreated into the back of the garage which made her roll her eyes, in all the things they have been through she still resorted to acting like a child. Eda took another quick look around the garage before her eyes landed Ko’vas. Something about him just interested her though he looked human something felt off aside from the force around him. Eda focused on him for a moment to long and caught herself though it might have been too late and he might have noticed her stare but in an attempt to cover it up she used her free hand to grab a Datapad which had some information on the parts see needed for her latest experiment. Flicking through it quietly with her thumb she kept her mind on the dark feelings here in the shop while keeping an eye on her sister still wondering on how she was going to try to convince her to leave this city too.

The woman was very aware of any being around her that perked up or visibly reacted to the aura she emanated. Truthfully, she couldn't contain it any longer as she was once able to. Jerada's discomfort was almost tangible, though the woman made no outwardly threatening gestures. She nodded at his words, noting that he was avoiding gazing at her, despite her own eyes hidden from sight.

"I will speak with this 'Lee', then."

The woman was small in stature, standing at 5'2 at best. She was thin and frail, yet carried herself with an odd sense of authority. She walked away from the counter and towards the back, not mishearing someone remark on her arrival. This sparked her curiosity, as it appeared someone was aware of her as more than a simple traveler. She came to stand next to this man, looking at the young woman identified as 'Lee'. There was warmth to this girl, a contrast to the ice that appeared to surround the woman.

"Hello Lee. I am interested in a protocol droid. However, I'd like it custom built. Within it I'd like a compartment to put external parts..or capsules into. Whether it be a snack, a datapad or perhaps a bomb. Whatever it may be, it has to be undetectable."

There was a faint smile upon her lips. She was unconcerned with who could hear her requests.

"Can you do this for me? I will pay you handsomely."

Cairin gave very little visible reaction to the woman who stepped to his side. Crossing his arms, he crooked his head and watched the interaction between the two women who, to him, looked almost exactly alike; he assumed their sisterhood even before it was commented upon by the two. Their dialogue was little more than amusing and held no information for Cairin, excepting that it confirmed for him once more that he was nosy. Without looking to the woman beside him, he spoke, "Something'll likely need to be removed to make room for that, if you've an appetite alike to my own."

His concentration drifting away from the physical world, he continued speaking as he observed the many aura's swirling about the room, "But I believe Miss Leah is a cut above the rest when it comes to droids, perhaps other things as well. She could make it work." Knowing full well Leah had attempted to dismiss him when she told him and Ela to 'Feel free to have a look around for any parts you might need... you too' However, he disregarded it. Cairin had already found what he was looking for.

Reaching into his coat, he withdrew a small charm made of carved Whaladon bones. The three pronged charm was held together by three long, rusted nails and three thick strands of baleen. When held, it seemed to create a small, hissing song that only the holder could hear. Offering it out to Leah, he finished speaking, "Afraid I have personal business to attend to, however, please do keep a hold of this for me. It was nice speaking with you." If she did not immediately take the charm then Cairin would place it upon the cabinet behind his shoulder and turn as though to leave.

Leah smiled at Ela warmly as she extended an invitation to assist with the Hyperdrive, and nodded with suppressed enthusiasm "Yeah i'd love to. Though i'd recommend bringing it in, working out in the sands can be a bit dangerous" not that she was too concerned about that, but who wants distractions when you're trying to engage in something that you'd rather relax and enjoy? Nobody, surely. As Eda entered the fray Leah lifted her hands to surrender Ela to her twin with an awkward smile and turned to see two new arrivals.

Though darkness ebbed from one like a natural miasma emanating from her very core, she gave the pair a polite and respectful nod and when Ko'vas mentioned the name 'Lee' she smirked and gave him a minute wave "That would be me, i'm Leah" apologetically she didnt offer a hand to either of the arrivals, as they were covered in dirt from the Podracer she had been drumming on mere moments prior. "Yeah, we do those parts... but you seem distracted" with a grin she looked between Ko'vas and the Podracer, and kindly stepped out of the way so he could examine the rather brutal beauty. It was a very harsh, angular, industrial thing, with a snarling turbine hidden by a damaged and scowling grill- its energy binder was on too as it hovered there, but the beam was unstable and barely confined, and stray static like arcs would ripple out from it. It was safe, of course, unless you stuck your hand into it like a fool. "I'll take you to the parts in just a few moments though"

That was when she face her, and Leah felt the tiniest twist in her gut, even though she had a few good inches in height on the woman. There was an essence that this woman was not one to be trifled with, not lightly anyway, she had a smile that seemed to hide a perfect storm and Leah did not want to experience its wrath. Then came the request, which for a moment left Leah a little stumped. 'A bomb?' ran through her mind 'The hell is she talking about?'

"Uhm... a bomb?" escaped her lips unconsciously, this strange woman had to be joking, and so Leah ran a hand through the wild jungle of her blonde hair in thought. The rest of the order seemed sane enough, and if she said no, well, she doubted that Jerada would be best pleased... besides, he could use the money. Quietly a moment passed and releasing her lip from between her teeth she spoke "Well, yeah, i suppose i could build that. Custom orders like that aren't hassle, they're just expensive... and a little time consuming. I can scope out some parts for you and get in touch, unless you have some specifics in mind already? like a certain chassis or something" Leah would gesture to a line of empty protocol droid cases lined up on a wall "We have plenty here, if any are to your fancy"

it was then her eyes returned to Doyle, or more specifically, those shark-like black eyes that sat malevolently in his skull. She had heard his complement, and even offered him a smile for his 'kindness', yet there was something off about him, not just his presence in the Force but in his demeanor. It was as though he knew things others did not. Perhaps he did, perhaps not. Either way as he extended to her that strange gift, she found herself staring at it in a macabre fascination. What was it, was it bone? It seemed to resonate to her, and against her better judgement, her curiosity won out and she accepted the gift politely, taking it from Cairin with a thankful nod "I'll keep it safe" and with that she cast one more glance to that ornate charm and delicately placed it inside a an empty pouch on the back of her belt. The roomed seemed oddly quiet then, the strange song of sorts that had drifted into her senses had abruptly fallen into silence now... with a shake of her head she put it down to imagination. "It was nice speaking to you too" her words curteous, though perhaps not entirely genuine... she did believe in giving people the benefit of the doubt "Take care"

Ela nodded at the comment from Leah as she scanned the shelves for usable parts in her warp drive. True it was a hazard working out there but more often than not it was just an inconvenience, either way Ela had no way to get the hyper drive out of the freighter which was still mostly buried in the sand. Ela figured it would take a few days and a dozen droids working on overdrive to even dig it out and survey the damage of the sub light engines. Sigh sighed at all the work that was to come she missed all her assets she had in her old life but then again it was nice to be free from everything and actually having some time to work on her own things. “Well it’s not as bad working out in the sand as you’d think the only problem we have had is a few wamp rats get in now and again chewing on wires and such.” Ela admitted and seeing that Leah had more guests to tend to she went back to searching for parts and grabbed an energized cuff link and a small power converter which looked like it could use some minor repair. “These could work.” She mumbled to herself quietly her tight bantha leather gloves became coated in a grease residue from the used parts, the grease smell brought back some good memories from her earlier projects from when she was a child and her imagination was running wild with ideas of better engines, an unlimited power source, and of course her idea of a personal stealth field generator which she thought of while she was feeling mischievous but alas all these things where the dreams of a child and despite being young she still felt old. Shaking the nostalgia from her head Ela picked up on the word bomb and it peaked her interest as bombs could be as simple or complex as the maker wanted them to be making bombs the most deadly and amazing products of the galaxy as no two bombs where ever alike unless manufactured by company's with no imagination. Ela didn't speak on this she only listened as she wanted the thrill of such things but she didn't want to get involved with that again as she wasn't too sure where her sister Eda stood on such a manner.

----

Eda thought it herself taking a moment to look at the pod racer, she didn’t know why such things could bring so much entertainment to people it’s really only speeding on a pre-set track sure there where dangers and risks but in the end its more of a thrill to organize chaos then it was to watch it, but alas the days of that where over for her, and she was finding it hard to adjust to a more ‘normal’ life. Though Ela was right Eda did finally have a moment in the shop to look for certain parts for a prototype hydroponic machine so she could at least grow something green once she got her hands on some real soil though on a planet of sand it would defiantly be a difficult task. Eda moved away from the Pod racer and pulled out her datapad from her back pocket under her cloak and brought up her schematics for her prototype and began looking for the parts needed on the shelves though watching her look for parts where like watching a wookie look for kolto on manaan just something clearly out of their element which made her hold her datapad in a clumsily manner. “Hmm first I am going to need some moisture evaporators and a reservoir.” Eda spoke to herself as she normally did when she was inventing objects and chemicals which was part of the reason she normally worked alone or with her sister because she had deep seeded trust issues.

Out of his peripheral Ko'vas caught the focus of Ela's sister on him for a moment before she pulled a datapad out looking away. Not thinking much of it he returned his focus to Leah when she spoke up. 'How could I not be distracted?' he thought to himself after Leah made the comment and stepped back out of the way from the podracer. It was a little beat up here and there but nothing a little TLC from a mechanic couldn't fix. "Don't worry about me right now. The parts I need are simple so take your time." Ko'vas mentioned to Leah as she turned to focus on the lady that entered just after him up front. The only concern Ko'vas had about the parts was the price they might be asking for them, since he hasn't be doing well with money income.

With Leah distracted with the other cusotmers, Ko'vas crawled onto his back under the racer inspecting the abuse done to it trying to determine what was causing the beam to be unstable. That was the only real major problem that look to be plaguing the podracer. The other damage looked to be mostly cosmetic from the glance and quick inspection from the outside, but like most abused machines, there is always unseen damage inside. Ko'vas would enjoy being to get his hands on to help fix this but at last, its not his. He quickly turned himself around to get up with a slight thud as his shoulder hit the racers and a stray arch jumps to the ground in front of him by his leg. "Lets not do that again." Ko'vas mentioned to himself as he brushed himself off before approaching Eda.

"If you can't find a reservoir, it wouldn't be hard to make one. Well depending on the size and shape you want." Ko'vas stated as he overheard her talking to herself stopping a few paces away before readjusting the wires running from his data pad into his jacket.
