On Korriban, away from the structure of the main Sith temple, sat a much smaller building in the sand. This temple had been cleared, swept for danger, furnished with training equipment, and maintained by the various Xaden family members who found themselves on the planet. It was a place for acolytes to get away from their masters for a time, to practice away from the ever watchful eyes of the crusaders, masters and lords. True, nothing stopped the crusaders and others from coming, so it made a poor hiding place if you were in trouble, but unless they had a reason, it was generally left alone.
Within the sandstone halls, a training area, bunk area, kitchen, refresher, and recreation area had been set up. Deep in the structure, in the training area, two Acolytes were training. One, has his lightsaber drawn, the pure white blade humming as he faced off against three remotes, moving as little as possible, training how to block and redirect blaster bolts onto targets at the edge of the room while expending a little energy as possible. The other, was in a small area carved into the side of one of the walls, near the ceiling, and looked like she was sleeping, but in reality she was using meditation techniques to try and learn to control her emotions a little better.
Jason had been going at this for awhile, but his fighting style was to conserve energy where he could, to be able to handle long term battles that went on for hours, not the short over in ten minute fights most people were used to. The more practice one had, the better your muscle memory, the less energy you wasted in a fight. It was simple. “Well Anya, I wonder how much more, until we prove ourselves worthy of being Crusaders.” Jason said this mainly to himself, the brown haired young man blocking the shots quickly and efficiently, hitting the small targets at the other side of the room with the bolts.
Anya groans. “Damn it Jason, I was almost there, I could feel it! But you just had to interrupt my concentration.” Chuckling Jason kept at it. “No, I was testing you, if you were almost there, my interruption should cause no problem what so ever.” The red haired girl grumbled. "I hope someone else comes soon, your no fun Jason."
