Nal-Hutta-2.jpg

(ooc: capture/death disabled)
Location: Nal Hutta
Time: 23:00 hours

Since the strike against Nar Shaddaa, the Galactic Alliance had seen nothing but success. With the destruction of the HoloNet, Imperial Hutta had been drawn into heavy chaos across its many faceted planets. Unfortunately, there were precautions and measures that had to be taken since the riots had broken out. Someone had to help clean up the mess that was made.

One such of these messes included the Evocii people who resided on the bog planet Nal Hutta. These tech savvy people had been enslaved to the Hutt Empire throughout history. They had been known to attempt revolts against the vicious rule of the Hutts, but the might of the Hutt empire squashed all hope of freedom for the people. With the spreading victory of the Galactic Alliance, there had never been a better opportunity for their freedom.

Having landed a Galactic Issued freighter on the planet inconspicuously at night to avoid notice, Fey had maneuvered to the outskirts of a small settlement in which the GA had instructed the extraction of said people.

Fey, along with a covert pair of companions, had been assigned the task of rounding up as many of the people in the wake of the revolts. The white-haired padawan now stood with her back against the far side of a building, glancing slightly around its corner. Off down the dark alleyway, a good 12 meters from her current location, Fey could see the glowing blockade that had been constructed to render the city impenetrable by the Empire. Keeping everything they wanted in, and everyone who was a threat to them out. She could make out the glow of artificial light that moved with the guards which stood post outside of it.

The pantoran heaved a sigh to herself, and turned to face her companions under the protection of the small building they were using to hide themselves. It was dark here, but Fey's eyes had long since adjusted to the lack of light. She had not adapted to the sweltering heat. Even at night, this planet was hot. And the humidity that the bogs and swamps produced was almost too much for the pantoran native, who would far prefer a blizzard.

Fey looked between her companions. One, she knew. Nikka Toren and herself had once shared a master, before the force had taken Fey elsewhere. Still, fey would consider Nikka a friend and worthy padawan. The next, Ner'Giza, Fey had not yet met before this mission. But she trusted almost everyone who fought for the Alliance. "Alright, the blockade is just ahead up there. There are guards there, so we will have to figure out a way around that..."

The jedi apprentice's golden eyes searched her companions, hoping to the force they had any ideas on that front. Her right hand instinctively fell to one of the hilted sabers she had strapped to each of her hips beneath the white of her robes. She would rather avoid shedding blood if neccesary, even if it was the Empire. Having spent the last months becoming well versed in lightsaber forms and under the watchful gaze of Master Reach, Fey was more than capable of battle. "Any ideas?"

Having caught up finally after the whirlwind of events, Nikka Toren had been present to be together with two females she had respect, and a degree of kinship with. Fey, for their brief meeting on Rishi, and Ner'Giza, whom she had fought in a cantina brawl with in Savareen. Her Vision scoured the dark enclosed village as far as she could test it, frowning when she realized that there was a slight disadvantage to being so far away.

She was gladdened to be surrounded by fellow members of the Rebellion, and familiar presences. It had been one adventure after the next of new voices and presences, new places and yet... not so new experiences. The lack of light went unnoticed to the Miraluka female, head bowed and voice soft. The heat, even, was nothing new... it was humidity which was a little more than slightly unpleasant. "Right."

She hesitated, scanning tentatively the route of guards. "They are following a pattern. Two at a time, seems like six if I'm not mistaken." She paused, then shook her head. Her hand lightly rested on her own saber hilt... her voice was soft, contemplative. "Distraction for two guards, disabling communication, that would give us..." she tilted her head from side to side, huffing a slight breath. "Five minutes before the alarm goes? Just a guess."

She was not as adept at brute strength and battling. Duck and weave, dodge and spar at close distances. Healing...

Though she had no eyes, her face turned to both her companions, giving a wry grin. "Perhaps a bigger distraction... to lead them from their post."

It had been a crazy month for Markus, first his boss got captured while accompanied in their armored Maglev and now they were sent to Imperial Hutta to solidify Imperial assets. Not that he didn’t particularly enjoy working for the Empire, they paid fat checks and he loved to party with booze and girls. The Pantoran bad boy was sitting at a cantina meant for Imperial soldiers and blockade personnel, drinking and talking lots of shit with the other locals. Accompanying him were his other Red Skull enforcers as well as a few Imperial agents. Things got heated with all that bravado and testosterone around, causing one Gamorrean guard to throw the first punch. The Pantoran, a hardened criminal had spent his life on the streets was able to easily block the incoming blow, grabbed the guards wrist into a lock, and retaliated with a punch of his own. The loud Ruckus continued for several more minutes with the fight leading to outside on the streets and ended with the Gamorrean being hurled through the window of the small building the trio of Rebels were hiding.

The red skull enforcer smashed open the door to check on his adversary, coming into full view of the Rebels, standing around 11 meters away. Pantoran musculature well hidden within the customized Beskar’gam. Even in full armor, the broad shoulders and physical strength were clearly evident in posture and gait. Shriek-Hawk blaster rifle was grabbed in his right hand while twin strill side arms were on each hip. A vibroknife was concealed on the backside of his waist belt along with a fragmentation grenade. He looked coldly upon the Gamorrean on the ground, pondering whether to execute him or not when he looked upwards to glance at the Trio of women. His red and black beskar’gam was customized but the only identifying mark was the feared mythosaur sigal on its breast plate. The Red Skull gang, widely known through the outer rim for their terrorist activity, it was a surprise to see them in an Imperial camp.

Helmeted head tilted into an arrogant angle as he looked upon the Pantoran Jedi, obviously finding a physical liking to the girl. “What’s up cutie, want a drink?” @Fey Aadedai

The Twi’lek was in her element, one might say, off to rescue more slaves and strike a blow for freedom. She had to smirk at the sentiment but it was true. Of all the work she had been tasked since joining the Alliance, rescuing slaves and killing those responsible for their torment was top of her list on fun things to do on any given night. Like the pale woman, she too knew Nikka and trusted her implicitly. They had that in common. Their mission however had frequently made it impossible for them to actually work together until tonight. And that was partly the sign of the times and partly herself to blame.

Since finding out about the Jedi Nera had been pretty much throwing herself into any mission that came her way rather than have to think about her feelings. The long and the short of it was, he hadn’t told her…she didn’t want him to see her like this being so childish. Only, she’d had her trust betrayed countless times before and it was no big deal, just life. Once though she’d kind of liked to have had a little bit of that returned. Nera didn’t want to make the culmination of his entire life all about her. She needed time enough to get a handle on herself an act like an adult. And that pretty much meant ignoring it and hoping it would just go away.

”Sounds good to me.” she replied all too ready to heed Nikka’s lead. ” I’m thinking we should grab a transport while we are here too. Load everyone up and get out quick.” The thought of running and covering a bunch of refugees with blaster fire on these blockage guards all the way back to the freighters didn’t sound all that appealing to her. Her eyes were scanning the alleyway, checking out the blockade, and catching sight of a pair of those guards Nikka detected. And then the bar fight broke out.

”Great, drunken guards…”, she commented with a sigh. That would certainly make a distraction. Maybe they could use it somehow. Unfortunately things got escalated real quick until a man’s body came flying out of the window of the building they were hiding behind to fall on the ground before them.

Her eyes whipped round to see the blue Mando come striding up the street round to the side of the building. Wait, not Mandelorean. He was decked out kind like one though, she decided; though no way would anyone be bold enough to sport their clan insignia. Terrorists for hire, that’s what he was, he was one of the Red Skull.

Word spread among many different circles, her smuggler kin being among them. Her uncle told her tales about the Red Skull. Her news hungry droid had mentioned something about the bounty on their leader being cashed in not that long ago. No doubt they were scrapping for all kinds of work and it seemed licking the boots of the Empire paid as good as anything. She had to smirk, however when he switched from savage warrior to lothario in the blink of an eye. This guy was just making it too easy.

Ner’Giza nudged Nikka with her elbow and laughed. ”Well would you look...at...you. Mmmm, you got any friends?” She stepped away from the wall a bit coming out into the light past where the shadow of the house lay. Clad in her smuggler’s gear, she just acted natural like herself. Her thumbs went to her waist and hooked in the belt, both blasters in plain view, and hitched her weight to her left hip, her right foot shifted slightly forward of the other. ”Me and the girls are running some hootch”, she cocked her head over her right shoulder and nodded off into the distance before looking back at him. ”out a ways on the ship, mind ya. Thought maybe you and your friends might be looking to buy?”, she concluded giving him a bit of a smile.

Nera had brought her own ship, the Tempest Hunter, and 99 and Ji Hu were minding the ship. The idea was to get as many Evocii out as possible so she had left the rest of her crew at home. Slippken had been so angry! She’d have to make it up to him sometime but right now she kind of wished she had brought the whole gang along. They hadn’t counted on getting discovered so soon, she certainly hadn’t thought to run into these notorious terrorists, and she was pretty much kicking herself up one side of today and down half of tomorrow.

Sabrina was inside the walls, wearing her Marauder Armour. She looking at the walls, and making sure they where well maned. She was here to make sure, it does not shift any further from empires hands. They had patrols coming and going, though they where doubled up, due to recent attacks. These where ordered to fall back, and keep them occupied till reinforcements could arrive. Though that failed, they can keep an eye on them, and the command center can decide what happens next. She headed up to the top of the wall, to see what she could see. She passed sith troops on the way up, they gave her courteous nod.

As she reached the top she saw the cesspit of planet, in all it glory. She wonder why the empire even bothered with this place, it was a complete cesspit. She be burning these clothes when she leaves, this miserable planet. She could see settlements, of evocii on outside of these walls. They where ugly beast, that ought to be thankful for empire bing here. As they where protected on there cesspit of a world, she wondered what they thought of her. Then realised who cares, they are evocii, who cares what they think. Though she perk a bit of smile up, they where atleast better slave material than a wookie.

She had plans tonight, a meal out a few drinks. She was looking forward to it, she would be with the sith officers, and maybe she could pick up some tip bits of information. She came back down from the wall, and then headed towards the command center. She wanted to know if anything happening, any patrols have been attacked. To be honest she was basically board, and was hoping for something to do. This was after all, was not the best of assignments. She had a few others in area on this assignment, friendly mandalorians, as well as few other sith. As she go to the command center, she saw the mandalorian warrior, not five feet from her.

Q'san had been doing some side work on his shore leave on Mail Hutta. Having just finished a small security job, working with the Red Skulls, as they he had some extra credits to burn. He had been invited out by one of the enforcers, for a night of drinking and debauchery, when a Gamorrean Guard threw a punch at his Pantoran counterpart, causing him to jump up, and follow them out, Stun Scattergun in hand, along with the rest of his usual gear. He saw the Twilek a d the Pantoran women, as well, and simply nodded toward them, before firing a stun bolt into the Gamorrean and ripping him upward off the ground, by his coat collar.

"Start shit, there will be shit, get in the paddywagon," he exclaimed, making a show of his authority, his Voice Scrambler making him sound demonic, as he hurled his words at the pig man.

The dazed Gamorrean struggled, but Q'san was neither forgiving nor patient, as he marched him at blaster point to the back of a landspeeder designated for Imperial prisoners at the blockade, before rejoining Markus, before returning to Markus and the others.

"What business do you two have here? Pantoran, you first," he said, authoritatively.

Juulius had accompanied the group of rebels on the task tonight, something about freeing enslaved peoples. Ones he did not have a stake in but ones he saw the sensibility in adding skin in the fight against the Sith so it worked as motivation enough for him to volunteer as muscle. Having moved as slowly and quietly as he could Juulius had found himself scouting ahead of the group at the far end of the alleyway, only a dozen meters from the entrance of the camps walls. The plan was to get in and get out as quickly and blood free as possible but in the nature of plans it went well for a total of five minutes, a new record if he was counting.

Juulius had made his way onto the steps of a second story walk up apartment and onto its small balcony that sat in open air aside from a waist high duracrete retainer wall. He'd been looking through a pair of microbinoculars when he heard the commotion behind him and feared the rest of the team had been intercepted but turned to see a trio of figures harassing a gamorean and taking notice of the duo he'd left on the far side of the alley at the entrance to his south. The trooper and company roughly 13m to his south put the remainder of his team another 12m beyond them and would make for a decent crossfire if necessary as Juulius turned about staying below the waist high wall and putting it between himself and the potentially hostile presence below.

"Try to make them go away if you can, emperor out." He said quietly into his commlink as he prepared his weapon for the worst.
