Sea of Trees (Heliel and Zex)

Not too long ago, Jedi had fought the Chiss at Endor. The Chiss had prevailed and obtained the planet. Now CAIN Director Arch'elie'lia was proceeding to establish a foothold on the planet. While there was the Eloheim Complex, that was her personal estate. As such, she commissioned the construction of a garrison. Now the consideration was where it should be placed.

Heliel decided to scout a quadrant personally to see what might make a good spot for a Chiss command post on Endor. With her was a Chevalier, Arcana'Zex'Arch. They had known each other for years, though circumstances had kept them apart for five years. CAIN business had occupied her time and Immortal Order, Chevalier's predecessor, had taken Zextripon in. Now the Immortal Order's Force users had been transferred to CAIN's jurisdiction and organized as the Chevaliers. She had selected Zextripon to accompany her in order to spend some quality time together again.

Having known Heliel for a while, Zextripon felt safe and secure. As a Chevalier, Zextripon was a loyal force user to the Chiss. Endor was property of the Chiss. It was up to him and Heliel to find a good place for a command post on Endor. His thoughts were that the garrison should be set up near a hill or a mountain top. In his opinion, a hill or mountain seemed the best to place a garrison. Zextripon didn't hold any land on Endor, but his knowledge of the place was good. "Heliel, what do think? Should we place the garrison in a strategic choke point? Cause that seems the best choice for me."

They had been hiking for sometime, barely even conversing. Finally Zextripon spoke up, inquiring about the site. Heliel thought for a moment.

"Indeed, that would be wise," said Heliel. "If possible, I would like to be able to locate any nearby abandoned Imperial facilities from Palpatine's empire." From the horizon, they could see the ruins of the satellite. "There are some underground passages left behind. We'll want to make sure they cannot compromise security."

 

[Sophia McLaren-Cobb]

"We can build on top of the buildings. Use them as foundations and build our own. I know a shield bunker nearby left from Palpatine's time. As for the underground passages, we can use those as tunnels or ambush points." Zextripon was speaking with war-like thoughts. He believed that a good choke point can be valuable for the fight and trenches and underground passages can be used as ambush points.

 

[Dmitri]

Heliel nodded. "We'll need to have a team inspect the integrity of the structures then. Explosives were used to make them inert. Who knows what kind of damage could have been done." Heliel motioned for Zextripon to lead. "Lead the way. Let's check out this bunker."

 

[Sophia McLaren-Cobb]

"Agreed. Follow me and stay close. Who knows if the Ewoks are still wondering the planet." Zextripon followed a path towards a village. He knew this village was abandoned. He knew the route well. He continued going north with Heliel still close to him. He made out the pair of abandoned speeder bikes left behind during the Battle of Endor between the Rebels and the Empire. "Let's use these speeder bikes. They should still work." With saying that, Zextripon got on a speeder bike and started it up.

 

[Dmitri]

The trek wasn't too long. The CAIN Director followed Zextripon until they came upon a pair of speeder bikes; though Zextripon hadn't noticed yet, there were a couple Stormtrooper armors nearby with what appeared to be arrows coming out of the neck area. She suspected they had been killed by Ewoks during the famous Battle of Endor that produced the Death Star ruins the orbited the planet.

Heliel was skeptical about the bikes still operational but surprise came when Zextripon's roared to life. She examined the other one, noticing several components had eroded away. "This one's a no-go. I'll have to ride with you."

OOC: Feel free to RP Heliel getting on and riding with Zextripon to the site, even arriving at wherever we're going.

As Heliel got on the speeder, Zextripon nailed the gas. Racing across the plains, Zextripon's hair was flowing backwards. The look on his face was grim. He raced across several Ewok villages, no Ewoks attacked the pair. After an hour they arrived at an old Stormtrooper Barracks. He stopped there for a bit. "Heliel, this place look good for a garrison?" He turned to Heliel.

No Ewok attacked the duo. Mostly it was because Heliel had touched the villages before they approached through the Force to notify them. She was the Witch of Endor, and they would let her pass. And they did. For a while, until they finally reached a stopping point. Zex inquired about a location.

"It looks okay," said Heliel. "We'll want to send in specialists to determine it further."

 

[Sophia McLaren-Cobb]

"Sounds good. As far as I know, most of the equipment here was in good condition. I can't always be sure. The bunker will be north from here." Zextripon spoke in a calm and informative tone. He got back on the speeder bike, just to notice that there is not enough gasoline. "I am not sure we can make it with the gasoline left. I hope this can be enough to get us to the bunker."
