OOC: EDIT: From here on out this thread is to be considered ASK. Don't want a ton of people in the thread, this is good for now unless you have a good reason.
Agent Van Pax walked the dirty, dusky street alone. He had just received a most disturbing call from a police sergeant. Someone had murdered an entire family in the mid-levels of Coruscant, with no leads. "I'm coming to your location now, sergeant, I want a perimeter around the home for a block, nobody in or out until I say so," Van had said as he stuffed his morning biscuit in his mouth and dashed for his speeder. This would be his first real assigment alone, and he wasn't about to let it go down the drain because he wasn't fast enough.
The dusky street became more and more filled with onlookers who pressed themselves against the police barricade. A quick flip of his credentials and a loud holler from a heavily armed officer created a path for Van to get through the crowd. Behind his back several members of the crowd spewed anti-authoritarian obscenities at him. The next block was totally abandoned, except the occasional crime scene investigator scouring the area for evidence. As Van neared the house, he realized the gravity of the situation.
Blood had literally spilled out into the streets, all of it was quarantined off with 'vacuum bowls' that created an environment that would prevent the contamination of anything it contained. A man wearing a uniform approached Van Pax. "Agent Pax, I'm Sergeant Plane, I spoke with you on the comms."
"Yes, Sergeant Plane, what happened here?" Van Pax asked as he glanced at the Sergeant's name tags.
The Sergeant led Van into the house, and as he pushed the ajar door open a grisly sight greeted Van. A decapitated, heavily mutilated corpse sat upright at the foot of a circular staircase. Van didn't have to search hard for the head, which was jammed onto the banister, which was scalped and it's eyes missing. "The homeowner, Brenna Siegfield, right here," Plane motioned toward the body and head, "was here with her boyfriend and children when neighbours across the street heard a commotion, some sort of roaring, like an animal, and seventeen minutes later when a patrol speeder arrived, the officer found this."
"Did the residents that made the call see anything?" Van asked, recording everything onto his holopad in audio and writing.
"No, the streetlights were dead at the time," Van glanced outside, the streetlights were flickering, but they were steady and on, "and just before the responding officer arrived they heard a window break and then silence. We think that was the back window breaking as the culprit left the scene."
"I know there is a lot of blood here, but try and find some that doesn't belong to any of our victims, especially around the back window and the boyfriend," Van said, his mind racing. This was gonna be an exhausting case.
Van was leading the Sergeant around the house, looking at the carnage. One child was down there. Van stepped over Ms. Siegfield and headed up the bloodsoaked stairs. At the top of the stairs was the boyfriend, who was yet to be identified. His hands, feet, and head were missing. Just gone. The second child was in a small bathroom. This wasn't just a multiple murder. This was a slaughterhouse.
