Skako

Thel arrived on Skako, chasing up a lead about an abandoned droid factory from the Clone Wars era. If it could be found, it could potentially have some use if brought back into working condition. Contacts at Arakyd industries could provide the necessary technical expertise and his alliance with a Hutt daimyo gave him a supply of slave labour to use. Raw materials could be purchased from the credits made from his spice operation.

The planet’s atmosphere necessitated wearing an enviro-suit. The landscape was bleak, which would be beneficial if there was a factory here. Not the sort of place people would actively seek out.

Another Sith was supposed to be joining him. He awaited their arrival so they could begin searching.

The descending C-9979 landing ship carefully made its way into the orbit of Shako Minor.
Upon the ship, host one heavily Cyborg Kaleesh, who was at the brig of the ship.

The bridge computer systems hum as the ship continues its course. It was currently the atmosphere of Shako Minor, for whatever reason. The Sith Champion Shredder has been assigned to assist a superior of the order. Not wishing to fail his first mission off the homeworld of Korriban. Shredder was prepared before hand and was properly debriefed on who he was meeting and somewhat their objective. At this time, the faction higher up was currently attempting to gather resources, and this was a play to recover something from the past. How hopeful this development would be was up to the duo. Not wishing to waste any more time, Shredder took a seat behind the main control panel along the bridge of the ship. In that moment, he began to run scans of the planet for life or other similar things along the surface of Shako Minor.

Due to the state of this planet, he wasn´t sure of the condition of the air or if there were other life on the planet. That would probably take some time, but in the meantime, the Sith Cloak Cyborb Gently touch a button along his wrist that attaches to his right leg. Due to being in the orbit descending to the atmosphere. He should be in range of contacting his superior. After all, the individual knew their objective and their plan. It would probably be better to link up with him and regroup.

Reaching out with his com link connected to the holopad using the data given to him by the SIth Order.He would attempt to call up his superior if he wasn´t sure of his location and wanted to chat. If his superior picked up, he would see a blue image along his equipment.This image would shows cloak Sith Champion, otherwise known as Shredder Everclear, sitting down in a chair.

Shredder's face was covered by the hood of the Sith robe, and he cleared his voice and said, Greetings, this is Shredder here, arriving in the atmosphere in one hour. Awaiting further instruction...

  The BX-Series Commando Droid represents the most advanced soldier in the Separatist droid armies.   BX-series droids, though feared galaxy-wide, are not nearly common as other battle droids of the era are today. Not only were they produced in much smaller numbers than their predecessors, but their advanced self-preservation protocols make the droid rather challenging to hunt. The exact number of functioning units is still a mystery, and sentients are advised to use caution if they encounter one. They are equip with 2 Heavy Blasters, and 2 VibroBlades.

Thel heard the beeping of his holoprojector and took the call. A fuzzy picture of what appeared to be a cybernetic organism appeared before him. They were unusual looking, to say the least. “Land and join me at these coordinates,” he instructed the Sith champion. He transmitted a set of coordinates to their ship. Thel had already narrowed down the area that he wanted to search. There were signs of structures in the area he wanted to search, but it remained to be seen if they were parts of an abandoned droid factory.

The walk to the designated meeting point took time, but eventually he arrived. Looking down at the area he wanted to search, he spotted what looked like two rusted metallic towers. There were various other structures, but it was difficult to ascertain what they were. It was promising, at least. He waited for the other Sith to join him, before continuing.

The contact with the Sith was rather brief, and from what Shredder got from it, he was eager to get started. Therefore Shredder reply was simple ¨Yes.¨ However, looking over the computer systems. This planet's air was highly toxic, and he wasn´t sure if he would be able to maintain it in an atmosphere in conditions such as these. That did pose an issue enough for the Sith to be a rather intriguing issue. At this time, he was eager to see what would unfold in this situation, and he would need to handle it accordingly.
A beep came from his wristcaster with the coordinate promise made to him by his peer. He only caught a glimpse of his appearance; it was important within the Sith to know who you were dealing with at all times. Because the Sith are not a loyal order, they have clearly become a faction of the strongest. However, Shredder implements the location into the system computer, factoring in the distance and time it would take. Shredder nodded his head in approval.
It didn't take long for the computer to confirm with a brief and firmly reply of a 15-minute flight adjustment. The other scans came back, confirming life on this planet as well. Shredder replied and said,¨ Wonderful news, boyz, we will have some company¨. A brief click of a button along his wrist that was equipped with his wristcaster activated the BX-Series Commando Battle Droids down within the hangar bay. It would probably take them some time, but they would probably arrive at the bridge momentarily.
Setting the craft to autopilot, he decided it would be best to cut off his troops and instruct them along the way. He had to grab a breathing mask just in case the air was harmful to him. However, he figures he shouldn´t need it, but it's better to be safe than sorry. Places like these can be dangerous. Shredder also decided that it would be best to scout the area he was told to meet the Sith in. But he figures that once they get on the ground, the objective will be explained.
Shredder made his way towards the cockpit doors. Moving along the hallways of his spacecraft. The Sith Shredder was discovered by the first of his BX-Series Commando Battle Droids. He commands that one to man the ship in his absence and stay in contact with him, as well as do a fly-by of the general area. While the rest wait, he commands them to grab their weapons and meet him at the hangar bay, and they await further instruction. Shredder himself made his way out to grab that breathing mask within the storage room along the ship's 2nd level.
He was already equipped with everything else he needed. Now he had made his way over to Hangar Bay. As he arrived, it seemed the ship had arrived at the location. It seems he got a notification from his Commando Droid on the bridge. Relaying a map of the area gathered from the scan taken from the computer system and an image of the area Nodding his head in approval, the spacecraft doors open up with a thud, revealing the clear blue skies and the swampy landscape of the planet.
He already figures this place was going to make him flithy, and just glancing at the terrian, he guesses some area was wet, and a sink hole could maybe exist. He cleared his throat and said,¨Watch where you step; don´t attack unless told otherwise or if you are attacking." Let's move out. We have a date with faith.

Eventually the other Sith appeared, accompanied by some droids. “Follow me, my friend,” Thel remarked politely. He wanted the next generation of Sith to look on him favourably. Sith do hold grudges, so it was unwise to be cruel to those lower ranked.

Advancing towards the two tarnished towers, the Sith were unaware that they were being watched. Scrappers had taken residence at the site not long before the Sith arrived. A group of scrappers, hidden behind cover, observed them.

“There,” Thel said, pointing towards a rusted door. “That’s our way in.” Suddenly, the group of five scrappers jumped from cover and took aim at the two Sith. “This is our turf!” The scrappers were to the right of the Sith. Thel quickly ignited his saber as the scrappers opened fire and he was able to block the shots hurtling towards his chest. “Eliminate them,” he instructed the other Sith.

The four BX-Series Commando dragons had never left the side of the Sith Champion. As time went by, these four dragons were told to stay within 5 meters of each other and their owners. The purpose was to allow them to be used in combat, should they need to be.

¨Follow me, my friend,¨ were the words produced from the mouth of Sith Master Thel. However, Shredder was eager and did as his supervisor instructed. As the duo continued to move forward, the Sith Master once again spoke. "There." Shredder had never let his guard down, as his Commando Droids were following the duo at a safe distance of 5 meters behind each other. Similar to a line, as the Sith Champion quickly continues on, they arrive at the scene of what seems to be a pair of rusty doors that the Sith Master confirms by pointing them out.

However, what happens next? ¨That's our way in,¨ were the words from Sith Master Thel. Shredder confirmed in a similar tone.
Shredder had said, I wonder what is inside this place, Master. However, before he could say anything further, five enemies jumped from their positions as they said, "This is our turf!¨ Shredder frowns as he mumbles under his breath. Not for long. He activated his red lightsaber, which he forced to pull from off along his belt. As it came to life, it produced that red color that fortified the results of the battle. Shredder begins to quickly move as he commands his dragons to take fire.


¨Return fire! Die you scum!¨ The Bx-series springs into action as they raise up their heavy blaster attempt to fire back at the Scappers, who was busy trying to fire at the Sith Master Thel. Leaving themselves open for attack against the onslaghter of Siths and cyborb sith driods. They aim at the scappers chest area because that is the biggest part of their body that the dragons should be able to hit without issue. As for Shredder, he himself had moved over to assist his master in his own attempt to help block the varies blasting coming in his direction.

However, only two commando had fire arms the only 2 had melee weapons, and awaited for an chance to strike as well. While focus fire being inflict the other 2 droids slowly, and carefuly got into position . If they were able to they would attack without being fire upon they would attempt to stab two more foes. However all these action were attempts, and would happen to if they were successful.

Skako

The scrappers were disposed of, but unfortunately the abandoned site turned out to be a waste of time. Further searching revealed something not too far away, that looked promising. The other Sith had abandoned the search, which necessitated finding another. Eventually, a suitable candidate was found (@Trael Osso ).

Moving towards the circular cave entrance, which was lined with metal, Thel remained cautious. There could still be scrappers around. “Stay focused, my friend” he stated to the other Sith, his voice slightly distorted by the speaker in the enviro-suit. Reaching the mouth of the cave, he unclipped a torch from his belt and directed the beam of light at the shadows. “Let’s move in.”

Trael followed behind his companion. Taking in the door and the surrounding cave entrance he also took out a torch and followed behind the newly anointed master. The hissing from his filtration system breaking the silence.

As they entered the cave it took a second for his eyes to adjust. Looking around the cave was more spacious than he expected. "Well at least there is enough room to make our own factory in here." Standing near the entrance as he observes the area. Waiting for Thel to lead as this was his expedition.

Thel glanced around at the dank cave. “First we need to ensure there is actually equipment here that could be salvaged,” he replied. Looking around, he spotted a tunnel. “This way.”

The two Sith moved through the tunnel system. He made sure to memorise the route they were taking. Having taken the time to work up to the position of master, it would be rather undignified to get lost in a cave. Eventually, he spotted light at the end of a tunnel they were walking down. As he approached the end of the tunnel, he unclipped his saber from his belt. He didn’t ignite the blade. Stepping out of the tunnel, he was greeted by the sight of a large manufacturing room. Looking up, he spotted conveyor belts and other equipment which formed the automated production lines. It all appeared to be inactive. Deactivated droids lay on the floor. There was an eerie silence in the room. Something didn’t feel right. “Tread carefully,” he whispered to the other Sith.

Gently stepping across the factory floor, he scanned around. His senses had been alerted by something. It was just a matter of determining what was responsible. Suddenly a shot rang out. A blaster bolt flew towards his head. Activating his lightsaber in the nick of time, he deflected the shot. A scrapper emerged from cover, with a rifle in hand, on one of the conveyor belts above them. Without warning some of the seemingly deactivated droids, began to move. Three B2 droids rose up behind Trael and took aim at him. Another three also began to rise, close to Thel. Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted another couple of scrappers emerging from cover to the right of their position.

As they made their way through the tunnels something was nagging at Trael a sense of uneasiness. Coming out of the tunnels the sith also noticed the automated production equipment. The scattered droids added to his uneasiness as well as the other siths warning. Setting his torch into a nearby nook he took out his two sabers upon seeing Thel do the same.

A blaster bolt went hissing towards the master deflected almost the instant it would've hit. The droids scattered along the floor all began to get up along with scrappers appearing. As he was taking in the unfolding scene the B2 droids behind him taking aim drew his attention. His sabers hissed to life as the B2 droids began to open fire. His sabers began rotating turning into a blur sendig the bolt back towards the droids taking out two of them. Using the force while continuing his block he launches one of the disabled ones at it taking it out. He the turns preparing for the attack from the scrappers that are now setting up there firing lines.

Reacting quickly, Thel deflected a second shot from the scrapper on the conveyor belt above. The shot slammed into a piece of equipment next to them, sending sparks flying. The scrapper flinched, which provided Thel with an opportunity. Reaching out with the force he pulled the scrapper off the conveyor belt, causing them to plummet towards the factory floor. They landed with a heavy thud, knocking them unconscious.

Turning to one of the B2 droids, he aimed a horizontal swipe, with his lightsaber, at its midsection. The droid could offer no defence and it was bisected. Blocking a shot from one of the other two B2 droids, he swiped across the chest of the unit. The droid collapsed to the floor, a scorch mark on its chest. A succession of rapid slashes cut down the other unit.

Turning around, he spotted a small group of scrappers falling back through a door on the other side of the room. “Deal with those two,” he said in reference to the scrappers who were setting up their firing lines. “Then follow me. I’m going after the others.” Thel then began to run, aiming to catch up with the retreating scrappers.

Thel calling out caused him to lose focus for a second but that's all it took. A blaster bolt whizzed passed the siths helmet visor returning his focus to his prey just in time to deflect a second bolt. If the scrappers were trained he might've been dead. Running towards the two scrappers his lightsabers up and blocking the bolts as they come.

Leaping up and throwing his lightsabers embedding both of them into one of the scrappers. As he lands he begins chocking the other lifting them up as he calls back one of his sabers into his free hand. Pulling them towards him above his ignited lightsaber. Swinging upward he slices them in half dropping them and turning towards the door the master went to. As he rushes to catch up he calls his second saber and ignites it.

Thel rushed at the door as it closed. Thrusting his arm at the door, he sent a surge in the force towards it. The door was flung away, slamming into the wall behind it. Running through the doorway, he saw the scrappers desperately retreat and enter a room at the end of the corridor.

Hastily approaching the door, he could hear raised voices and movement behind it. “Get ready,” he said to Trael. Similar to before, he used telekinesis to break the door and send it flying into the room. Six scrappers opened fire at him and Trael. He would deal with three and leave the others for Trael.

Moving his lightsaber in front of him, he was able to bat away any of the shots aimed at him. Sending a blaster bolt straight back at the one who fired it, the shot slammed into their chest and threw their body over the top of a nearby table. Advancing on the other two, an upwards slash from his saber cut through the chest of one. A swift stab through the torso, finished off the other.

With the scrappers dealt with, Thel looked around the room. There was one thing in particular that caught his attention. Hanging from a rack, where what looked like deactivated IG-100 droids. “Fantastic,” he whispered to himself, as he checked the droids on the rack.

Trael caught up to Thel shortly after he made it through the first door. Hearing the warning and sensing the build up of the force he could understand the next steps. As the door is sent into the room Trael becomes a blur force dashing into the room just barely beating the bolts fired at him.

The three scrappers then all stop firing when one is impaled by a crimson blade. As the other two turn to look the blade slices the impaled man’s stomach catching the one closest to trael and slicing through his chest. The third is put down by a slash across the body.

After this he turns and notices Thel admiring some IG-100 droids. Looking around he notices a table in the corner with various tools on it and a datadisk. Inserting the datadisk into his datapad he quickly realized the drive is almost entirely filled with corrupted files.

Only one folder was accessible inside this folder only three files were accessible. The files where schematics one for the IG-100s in the room one was for B2 battle droids and the last was for B1 battle droids. The schematics were accompanied by a checklist of sorts the b series droids both had everything they need to be made but not be functional which meant they could make battle droid statues. The IG-100 was missing even more components only having the upper body parts being checked off.

“Hey I found something you’d want to see.” He said turning the datapad to show Thel the schematics and checklists. “Doesn’t specify what the checklist is checking off though. Could be what is in storage or what they have the ability to make. Although before we worry about the we need to get everything up and running first.”

Thel turned to Trael when he spoke. “Thank you.” He took the datapad and had a quick look through its contents. “Their information is of little use to us anyway. They are merely scavengers,” he said, passing back the datapad. “I have connections that can help us bring this factory back into operation.”

The important thing was simply to secure the factory. Thel’s arrangement with the Hutt daimyo Skelgok, allowed him to source a supply of slave labour. The Sith Order’s connection with Arakyd Industries, could be used to bring in appropriate technical expertise and to help with the necessary equipment. Credits from his spice operation would be used to help with acquiring the necessary materials. The factory didn’t necessarily have to operate at maximum capacity. The IG-100 droid units specifically, had caught his eye.

Suddenly, a large set of doors, to their right, slid open. Thudding footsteps heralded the presence of a hulking metallic figure. “You think you can interfere with my business,” a deep synthesised voice called out to the Sith. Thel turned and ignited his saber. “You won’t leave here alive!” It seemed like this thing would be the final obstacle between them and claiming the factory.

Trael had began to put his datapad away when a commotion interrupted him. Suddenly a set of doors opened up to the right and in stepped the hulking figure. It called out a challenge to the sith. Unlike his fellow sith he didn't draw his blade immediately instead he raises his hands.

Though he remained unarmed he was expecting the figure to attack him leaving an opening for Thel to exploit. Alas the attack didn't come not yet at least so Trael decided to attempt to make use of the person if possible still poised to evade any attacks.

"Hey buddy no need to die along with your underlings. My associate and myself will need someone to oversee the day to day operations of this place. You seem to be familiar with it and have shown yourself to be capable of handling a supervision role. You would be paid the specifics though would have to be gone over at a later date though of course. What do you say plant supervisor?"

Thel kept his saber raised as Trael spoke. He had to give Trael praise for trying to deal with the situation reasonably. If the scrapper was willing to agree to cede to them, then things could end peacefully.

The scrapper stood motionlessly, seemingly considering the offer.

“I’ll take your offer if I get an advance. 100,000 credits and you got a deal.”

Unacceptable. He was unwilling to compromise with the scrapper. 100,000 was too high a figure. They had made a grave mistake.

“If we pay you, you must agree to have your allies here stand down,” he said, feigning interest in negotiating with them. “The rest of my operations are off world. You’ve already taken out all my operatives here,” the scrapper replied, the bitterness in their voice not masked by the distortion the mask of their exosuit provided. “You pay me enough and I’ll make sure they don’t come here looking for you,” they continued, in an attempt to threaten the Sith.

That’s all he needed to know. Those off-world were unlikely to be much of a threat. They were mere scavengers. It was rare that he got the chance to really unleash his powers on someone. This was an opportunity. Trael’s offer had served to slightly distract the scrapper, which made things easier for Thel.

Before the scrapper could respond, Thel thrust both arms in their direction. A surge in the force pushed the large metallic figure to the ground. Approaching them, he used the force to rip the exosuit apart piece by piece. He tore the large mask from the mechanical suit and then threw the mask aside. The mask being ripped away, revealed the face of the man inside. They were of slight build and pale skinned. “Please, no,” they called out to Thel. He didn’t listen. Looming over the man, he thrust his saber down and through their forehead. With that action, the factory now belonged to the Sith.

It would take time and hard work for the facility to be brought back into working order. But he had access to the resources necessary to help make it happen. Those IG-100 units were interesting. I must prioritise them. He switched off his blade. “You’ve done very well. I will make sure you are sufficiently rewarded,” he told Trael. For now though, there was much work to be done. More than likely, he would just focus on initially constructing the facilities to build the IG-100 units.
