((Edited the beginning of my last post a bit since I realized that I misread something. Oops! XD
It doesn't affect your reply though so don't worry about it.))
Fiorenza held her breath for a moment as one particularly overzealous soldier moved towards her, clearly feeling that same urge for vengeance that she'd barely managed to suppress in favor of saving her own life. She was about to flip one of her guns back around her index and into her hand in a desperate effort to protect herself, even though that probably meant that she'd be filled with lead by the soldier's buddy, but in fact it was quite the contrary. The second soldier actually rushed to her defense, which was surprising to say the least.
If it caused Fiorenza's impression of James to be any more favorable, though, she certainly didn't show it. She did as he commanded and threw her weapons down near his feet, but scoffed arrogantly as he extended his hand. Placing her hand on her hip instead of using it to shake James', she stared him down with disdain until finally swallowing a bit of her pride. "Enza," she replied very concisely with a shortened version of her name, realizing that it would at least facilitate communication between them. "Might want to go fetch my shotgun while we're still here. It's pretty good at putting zombies down, and I'm going to guess that your little stunt led half of the ones in the city straight to us." Putting a hand on her hip, Fiorenza waited to find out what James planned on doing with her.
