Second American Civil War

Since this seems like a very interesting topic I am wondering if anyone is willing to try and do an RP about it.

My current idea is that someone killed George W. Bush, Dick Cheney took power and immediatly began abusng it. After he permanently got rid of Congress he prepared for a war with Mexico and Canada. The American people instead rebelled. THe US gvernment collapsed after a bloody conflict, but instead of forming a new government the people could not agree on what to do. The people have now formed several factions all across the US and are all trying to conquer each other and reform the United States. The EU sees this as a threat to international security and are now deploying forces to reform the United States themselves.

I think the UN would act instead of the EU, now that I think about it. But then again, the UN peace keepers do not make peace...

Alot of UN peacekeepers are US soldiers. Also there is no real UN standing military.

I know that. I'm a Michigander, so I'm going North.

I need to do alot of research first. I will need to make a map with all US military bases, have each state allocated to their faction, locate every factory capable of military production, and locate every armory.

locate major military bases...wes point...place major cities and bases on the map because to locate all armories would be...wow...there are too many. at leat in SC there are alot.

Well, for one: "Pres. Cheney" may have placed military forts or whatever during his "abuse of power" (although he'd probably get impeached before the government breaks down), so you can base the number of military strong points on the state. Same thing with armories. Secondly, the location of factories is not really a big deal: a number probably would do fine. Who can tell the difference between a Texan and a Californian? I see covert actions as an easy thing in America.

AFter Cheney took power he initiated a series of eecutive powers which made it difficult for congress to even question him.
