DESCRIPTION​

An exceedingly expensive ship, custom made to order by Ubrikkia Industries, this vessel clocks in at a minimum of 400,000 Cr, for the non-personalised version. For even more credits, the ship can be decorated with exotic wood linings, crystal embossed light fixtures, and much more. Designed for short trips between Nal Hutta and Nar Shaddaa, the vessel does not come with a hyperdrive, and cannot be upgraded to include one. As such, it can only travel at sublight speeds, ferrying its Hutt occupant in style.

Effectively a barge with a small Hutt palace attached to the topside, the ship travels with a solar sail, for a smoother and slower journey when required. Equipped with two concealed medium laser cannons, it normally comes accompanied by a small wing of fighters to ensure the Hutt gets to where they need to be, unmolested. The armoured prow of the ship can open up, to allow the occupant a commanding view from their miniature palace, which can be ejected in case of emergency. The caravel contains a kitchen in the palace area, as well as four servant cabins which cannot be ejected, as they are outside of the palace attachment.

A massively impractical and overpriced ship, it is the ideal Hutt vessel, enabling the Hutts to continue their business as they take the short journey between their homeworld and its moon. Serving as a mobile palace, the Caravel is simply a must-have.

LEGALITY​

As this ship has concealed weapons, it is considered illegal - however as they very rarely leave Hutt space, nobody cares.

RESTRICTIONS​

This ship can only be purchased by Hutts, and a non-Hutt would need to steal one. Furthermore it cannot be fitted with a hyperdrive, or attached to a hyperspace ring.
