NEW ALDERAAN--Panic and chaos ensued at a water filtration unit on New Alderaan after reports of a body in the tank. Senator Nicolas Clement (@The Good Doctor) made the decision to pull the plug and shut off the water supply for a large swath of New Alderaan. This resulted in the shutdown of several hospitals, despite speculations that "hospitals have reserves of water"--which is, technically, the way things should be, but gross budget cuts had resulted in many hospitals running underfunded--which only adds more mud to Senator Clement's situation.
"It was absolutely terrible," claims a guard from the facility, relaying the moment that the sirens began to blare. "There was a man there wailing that his wife was being treated at one of the affected hospital. The pain in his voice certainly shook me."
But it is not only individuals who are upset by the actions of the Senator. Several local organic rights activist groups have taken to calling for Clement's resignation, and an immediate re-election to replace his seat. So far, the protests have only been sparse, but an online petition has amassed 400,000 signatures calling for the Senator's resignation. Without so much as a public statement, this only serves to exemplify Clement's gross miscalculations--the Senator has swung and missed, perhaps to the detriment of his career.
