This meeting had been a long time coming. With his new role, it behooved the young sith to meet with the more prominent members of the imperial organization. This agent Janiph had been told about was quite the impressive man with a successful career thus far. While he was never one for relying too much on others, the acolyte understood the importance in making connections, especially when his own career had only just begun! There was so much work that needed to be done, both in Janiph's personal life as well as his own professional influence on the galaxy. With more and more sith turning towards the 'Old Empire' there were less opportunities for upcoming lord's to make their mark in the true empire, he hoped to change this one day, but for now he was forced to make due with what was available to him. How fitting that he who had spent most of his life hoping to join the ranks of men such as this would now seek their council.

The meeting place was not overly extravagant, a simple balcony atop the floor of one of many hotels scattered across Coruscant. The seats were rather expensive of course, red cushions had been placed in the center as well as the back and arm rests, silver lining the frames, and a simple wood table place between them with two glasses and a tall bottle of whine. The sun had just begun to set on the world, darkness descending upon the markets and copious amounts of traffic that never quite seemed to die down. There was a certain therapeutic effect such a setting had on the young sith, the cold wind blowing ever so faintly against his pale skin, he truly did love Coruscant.

How long had he been waiting now? It was rather irritating to not be afforded the same respect more senior members of his order were given, but he understood the way things worked. No one had any reason to care who he was, having no powerbase or any true reputation just yet. Janiph had hardly done anything noteworthy thus far. For now he would simply ignore his pride, but a day would come when he would make certain all knew just how important he was. A day would come when he would be the one that was waited on, or he would die in his attempts to make it so, if the former he'd have much to celebrate, if the later than all his troubles would be over anyway.

When Fletch finally arrived, Janiph took to his feet without missing a beat, giving a smile and a courteous bow out of respect.

" Well met my dear senior, it is beyond a privilege to stand before a man with such a distinguished reputation! Please sit, have a sip of the finest wine you're lips shall ever taste, I know I certainly intend to! " He let a simple chuckle escape his lips.

Janiph extended a pale hand to the new comer, his smile rarely genuine as eyes looked the other over, making mental notes of his appearance and body language. " Janiph Balguir, the newest weapon in our beloved societies' arsenal!"

Harrison took the unmarked black speeder provided by Intelligence to one of the more expensive hotels on Coruscant. He stepped out, and walked up the white marble steps. He was here for a meeting, nothing exactly special, just a meet and greet with one of the newly minted Sith acolytes. Harrison smiled, the Imperial Republica needed more men, more troops, more assets, if it ever hoped of beating the Old Empire, or the Mandalorians, or heck even the terrorist Jedi. Harrison stepped in one of the many turbolifts, and pressed the number. One of the higher floors, like they said in the offices back at HQ, the cream always rises to the top, or so they thought. Many secrets lay beneath the floors. Harrison stepped out of the turbolift, and straightened his back. With his he carried a simple datapad, with any information he may need or recieve from the young aspiring sith. He walked and stopped when he found the right door. He knocked, and the door opened, the Sith taking a deep bow. "Thank you Sith Balguir, while I much appreciate the respect, it's hardly needed. I am merely an agent." Harrison smiled and nodded nonetheless, supprised at the Sith's eagerness. Yes, the empire needed more men like him. Harrison sat, and took a glass, filled with esquisite wine. "So, what is the subject of this meeting?" Harrison was all ears.

" Just an agent? Come now sir, do not sell your accomplishments short, there is no cause in it."

Janiph took the bottle in his hand and poured himself a glass, marveling as the drink filled his glass much like liquid rubies. Once he'd given himself an appropriate amount, he made care to fill his new associate's as well, taking care to allot him with as much as he had provided himself with. This Harrison seemed a respectable man, not likely one to snicker and rub the sith's lack of experience in his face, this was good, very good. Perhaps the two of them would work well together. Tipping the glass against his lips, he savored the taste of the wine, thankful that the vintage was indeed worth the price, though perhaps a bit too fruity for his specific taste. Glancing at his reflection in the wine, he promptly place it back upon the table and returned his attention to Harrison.

" I have a great many things to discuss with you, if you shall have it. I suppose it all revolves around the war, as most things do these days. Now, I've heard a rather repulsive rumor, that many of our fellows in power think it best to render allegiance to the rebels on Korriban. I wish to know YOUR thoughts on the subject, as well as your opinion of the current state of our government."

Harrison smiled. The empire needed more men like Janiph. "You are correct there, I have accomplished many things, unfortunately my superiors have stopped recognizing and stopped giving promotions. They are more focused on war, and rightly so. There is a three way war, we need as much attention focused on that." Harrison took another sip, and watched the sith pour himself a drink. Harrison looked past the Sith and out the window into the bustling day. Harrison returned his gaze back to the sith and smiled. "Yes, well the way I see it, the Old Empire won the battle on Kagath. Our empress was too weak, she was young and naive. Yes spoken to the wrong person, that would be called treason. But look, the Imperial Republica is lost. Many troops have died fighting, how many more have to die? We need to come together united under one flag, and fight back against the Mandolorians and the Jedi. Even now they are slowly chipping away our territory. Our government is divided, with no leader the Moffs and politians are fighting over who has the right to rule. We need a figure head, someone strong.

"Ah, how unsavory..."

Janiph sighed. He spoke eloquently as well as truthfully, vexing as the young sith found the whole blasted affair. There truly was no path forward for the republica, no matter how one looked at it. If the hostilities continued how long before the Old Empire came in force to destroy his home? To destroy him? No, he would have to swallow his pride and accept the reality.

"I agree with you, though my current reach is rather limited, and by limited I do in fact mean non existent. With more and more flocking to the Old Empire I find myself void of any prominent members of my orders to learn from, and thus impossible to garner a power structure for myself. Tell me, if both of us can see the only path forward, why then is it that we have yet to render ourselves to the Emperor? Has our leadership refused to swallow their pride and relent?" Janiph surveyed the scenery, watching speeders below, even spying a few that he himself found appealing.

With another sip of his wine, he gave a toothy grin at his own reflection, swirling the wine in his glass. " What would it take for us to end this civil war? Once our Empire is at full strength we could focus our efforts in taming the madnalorian savages, and quelling the jedi."

Harrison nodded. He understood the young sith's anger. "I agree with you fully, I have had thoughts of joining the ranks of the Old Empire. There isn't much oppotunity left here. I highly advise you do the same. i woudn't want to be caught on the recieveing end of a lightsaber. Nows the chance to defect when no one will notice." Harrison drank and listened. "As of now, we have no emperor or emproress, we are leaderless. Our superiors are stupid, and ignorant. They do not see defeat when it's right in front of them." Harrison studied the sith before saying "If we are to fight the jedi and mandalorians, we need a unified empire."
