Jon rolled his eyes. He was sure they would pull something stupid. Their families had always had this rivalry; he wasn't even sure where or why it had started.
"I am not sure Banidt likes all to extra energy," he said. Bandit hadn't gotten up there in years and spent most of his days sleeping on the porch or following his dad around. "She loves him, though..." he said, glancing down at the puppy, still energetically cuddling with Kali. So far, he had kept her away from the wolves. They were not overly aggressive, but they were still wolves. They worked with Jon, but their true loyalty lay with Kali and the squire who had bonded with them.
He hooked up a trailer to the speeder, and they were off. "My plan was to get as much of the roof on as possible, but now that you are here, I'd like to get away with you for a bit," he said, glancing over. "I'll leave that choice up to you, though," he said. He gave her the choice because he knew she wanted to be a part of the process of building. He wouldn't take the opportunity away from her if she wanted it. "All I know is having a force user here will make the job a heck of a lot easier. I was not looking forward to hauling up all the supplies to the roof myself," he said truthfully.
"Oh, and sword training! Its been forever since I have got to do any practicing!" he added.
