[Laila Din]

It was barely nine in the morning, but Laila had already been up for two hours. She was exhausted after spending hours traveling, moving in, and getting all manners of paperwork finished, so falling asleep had been a breeze. Staying asleep, however, was a different matter entirely. Her red eyes flew open thirty minutes before her alarm was even set to go off, and she had rolled out of bed and into the shower not two minutes later. Laila usually wasn't a morning person, but special circumstances called for exceptions. Today was going to be her first official day as a squire. She was on her way to becoming just like her big brother!

Shower finished, Laila hurried to get ready. She dried off, threw her hair up into a ball held down by a claw clip, then headed for her bags. She pulled out several pieces of clothing to wear, all made of sturdy, nice fabrics. They were also all new. What was she supposed to do, show up to her first day wearing old clothes? Hell no! That would be a disgrace to the Din name, and also, new clothes were a better flex for the 'gram.

'Hm, black or navy?' The black was a bit more standard, but the navy looked better with her skin. "Minty, what do you th- " Laila turned to ask her companion bird, but she stopped when she realized the convor wasn't there. She hadn't been able to get permission to bring her dear pet here yet, but it was only a matter of time. She already missed his incessant chattering though, and a little frown weighed on her lips. "He'd like the blue for sure," she muttered to herself as she stepped into the tailored utilitarian pants. She slipped a dark red halter top over her head, careful to avoid her horns, then pulled long gloves up each arm. A quick trip back to the bathroom to blow-dry and style her hair into a low bun, then it was boots-on and out the door.

There was still a little bit of time until her orientation, so Laila whipped out her NalPhone to take some pictures for Galaxygram while she waited in the courtyard. She placed the phone up against a pillar, set the camera to a timer, and went about striking various poses. A few standard ones, then she flipped up onto her hands and grinned at the camera as she balanced upside down doing a one-handed handstand. She did a few more poses to flex her superb athletic form, then leaned up against the same pillar to scroll through and pick out the photos she did and didn't like. 'Damn, shouldn't they be here by now?'

The pink-skinned tiefling looked up, brows furrowed and wishing the orientation could start sooner.

[Rhiannon]

It was such an exciting prospect to finally break free from overly protective parents and be able to mingle with one's peers. The idea of their child being whisked away and broken into becoming a monster for the Sith Order had been a large part of why their daughter had largely been shielded away from outwardly showcasing her abilities. But with the new empire came new possibilities, and today that had been realized as Rhia meticulously fiddled with her uniform in front of a mirror.

First impressions were important, not just because of the enormous weight that being a force sensitive in a nonsensitive-dominated world created. But also because the relationships that she struck in her first years could go on to become the most powerful friendships or the bitter foundations of rivalries.

To that end the blonde squire to be ensured that she had promptly prepared and departed well in advance to secure herself a decent perch to sit on. In another life, she might have gone on to compete professionally as a gymnast or in one of the many track events that the girl had competed in during high school. But today wasn't about the past, this was her new future and Rhia could hardly wait to see it in person.

From above she spotted Laila sauntering over to set up for some quality pics. That she'd be sharing a class with perhaps the one of most famous teens with a Galaxygram follower list to match was completely crazy, but Rhia swore that she'd play it cool. It wasn't like the Laila would ever find out that the blonde was one of her millions of followers anyway.

Swinging upside down above the little tiefling, Rhia giggled. "Hi, I'm Squire Delevigne but everyone calls me Rhia. How's it hangin'?"

[Laila Din]

It turned out that someone was already here, Laila had just missed her perched up above the column she'd used to prop her phone up on. The surprise appearance of the blonde girl from above might've spooked Laila if she hadn't been grumpily looking out into the courtyard. That, and, she was hard to spook. She was more likely to get angry than scared.

Luckily for Rhia, Laila was in a great mood all things considered, so the girl's introduction was met well. "Squire Din, nice to meet ya!" she replied back, obvious emphasis on her surname most certainly included. "But everyone calls me Laila- " Laila grinned. "Minus the ones that call me M'lady," she added smugly. She was a princess, after all.

The tiefling teen stepped to the side so that Rhia could come down without fear of getting accidentally impaled by the girl's pointy horns, placing her hands on her hips to size up the girl once she did. If Laila didn't include her horns, they were the same height, and while Rhia seemed pretty athletic, Laila definitely had better muscles. Not that she would expect Rhia to be as muscular as she, of course. Matukai was very intensive, so, of course, it made sense.

"You're here for the orientation, right? Which means you're new too." She said it matter-of-factly, but Laila was secretly super relieved that there would be another girl who was also her age here. Boys were boring to talk to - she had enough with her brothers! - and she was excited that there were squires her age. "That means you have to be my friend. Since we're both new." She said that matter-of-factly as well.

'This is great! First day and I already have someone I can go shopping with!' The girls back on Eiattu were fun most of the time, but since they all came from money, there was never any opportunity to impress them. Not really. Poorer girls, non-royal girls... they were the best since they were so easily impressed. Laila immediately thought back to Heidi, wondering how the little fox-tailed teen was doing. She'd have to invite her out some time too. 'Wait, did I ever get her Galaxygram?!'

"Oh!" That reminded her. Laila whipped out her NalPhone and opened up Galaxygram before shoving Rhia the screen. "You should totally follow me. My Switter handle is the same."

[Cassir Caerleon]

Cassir is usually up before 0900 and his day-to-day activities are pretty routine unless he gets assigned stuff by his Master, but typically it involves a lot of varying training

As for today, Cassir has heard that there are going to be new squires joining today. The Imperial1 Knights have done good work and it seems like it wasn't too long ago since the organization was formed he Imperial Knights are expanding. They are out in the galaxy, doing things. The Knights are bound to expand further and further.

As he would be walking through, he would saw two particular faces (@lizziie @Xorism) he hasn't seen around before. Curious, he would go over there. Two females who seem to be younger than than him, they seemed to be conversing with each other, as if they met for the first time.

"Hello there you two" The young squire would give a nice smile. "Haven't seen you two here before. Yal'll new?" he asked. He did see the horned one had what appeared to be an expensive model of NalPhone, and are probably exchanging infomation or showing pictures or something.

Flipping down back onto her two feet, Rhia smiled joyfully. The blonde was so very eager to get started on the orientation tour, to find out where everything was going to be done and most of all, when they would actually start learning some cool stuff.

Nodding in agreement when Laila asked her about the orientation, it was definitely a relief to be able to share this experience with someone your own age and relative experience. Her offer of friendship was less an offer and more of a statement, but that did little to damper her exciting mood. "Yes, of course. I would love that!" The girls back home on Lianna would be sooo jealous once they saw just who she was hanging out with now, Rhia's little head was exploding with the possibilities.

She was of course a little self-conscious of well, everything, I mean who wouldn't? Laila had a famous name, a powerful brother, the fanciest things, and more money than she could ever spend in a lifetime combined with none of the responsibilities that came with it. Comparing the two would be ridiculously one-sided, but that didn't deter her from rocking the cute little outfit she had picked for today.

"Oh...uh yeah, totally," she said with a quiet gulp. She didn't want to explain that she had been one of Laila's followers since like forever, but she'd need some kind of cover story or something. Grabbing her own phone out, she keyed in the name as if she didn't already have it before re-sending a follow request. "Done!! do you wanna sit together when we get to class??" she excitedly added. Scrolling through the princesses gram would definitely come later but for now, she noticed another joining them.

"Yeah! Actually, we were just saying.." Rhia turned to properly speak to the new voice when she suddenly stopped in her tracks. "...saying uhh.. how excited we were..." Okay, why had her ability to speak simply vanished the moment a cute older boy started to talk to them?

[Laila Din]

Laila grinned when Rhia's name popped up as a new follower. "Duh!" she said in response to Rhia's question. "That's what friends do, right? Sit together and pass - I mean share - notes!" The tiefling giggled, all too happy to have a new friend on her very first day.

The two wouldn't have too much longer to chat before someone else showed up. He was older than both of them and very cute. 'Rhia seems to think so too,' Laila noted with a smirk. 'Unless she's just one of those nervous around boys types.' Laila was never nervous. They should be nervous around her.

"Yup! Are you the person who's supposed to be showing us around for orientation or are they just super late?" Straight to the point. She didn't really care who he was if he wasn't their guy or wasn't joining them. She wanted to get going on this thing!

[Cassir Caerleon]

The human lady seems nervous. Very 'excited'. Indeed and the horned lady seemed less so. She was straight to the point indeed. "Probably super late" he would look around and didn't see anyone else commong. "I can show you both around if you want." He looked at both of the two newcomers, if they want to 'get on with the show' so to speak.

"By the way, I'm Cassir." he said, introducing himself. "I'm a squire too." he said. It would have been very rude not to introduce himself to these young ladies. "And you two are?" he said, interested in their names.

After they get all acquainted and intrudouced; and if they want to be shown around, Cassir can get on that.

[Rhiannon]

The day was already off to such a great start, and Rhia expected only to improve from there. Curiously she watched as Cassir spoke, excitement billowing below the surface. "Oh yes, please do. I don't really want to wait around for some old and boring tour. Can you show us the fun parts first?"

The squire gently brushed her blonde locks, with such a happy little smile mixed of mischievousness and delight. "Same! it's our first day as squires even. Nice to meet you Cassir, I'm Rhia by the way." With everything squared away, she next turned to Laila with a little subtle wink before offering her own arm to the older squire with a hopeful glint in her eye. "So how much free time do we get to do the things we want to do? or like will our schedules be super busy all the time? When do we find out who our masters will be?"

A million questions flew through the little squire's head as she had finally found someone who could maybe answer some of them. Directing the next one to Laila herself, Rhia asked quickly. "What do you wanna do first?? with our...handsome tour guide to show the way!"
