Ship in Mandalore open fire against freighter transporting members of Emryc Thorne Official Fanclub
The kidnapping of President Thorne had a new twist, this time a very tragic one. A freighter transporting some members of Thorne's Fanclub was destroyed in Mandalore, killing nearly all the occupants. While the ship that attacked the teenagers was declared a pirate vessel, many believe that it was of Mandalorian origin.
The tragedy happened after some fans went to Mandalore to protest against the attack that the President of the Fanclub, Pootina Thorne, was attacked by a Mandalorian. Most of the people that died in the the freighter were teenagers, but there was some older women and men.
What is now being called the "Massacre of the Emi-lovers" caused fury across the galaxy. The group was formed by teenagers from the New Republic, Free World Alliance and Independent Systems Consortium. Protests organized by their families and by the members of the Fanclub that didn't went to Mandalore are being made in the capital of these states.
At this moment a crowd is gathered in the Senate Plaza in Coruscant, screaming words against the Mandalorians.
In other news, a twenty-years old man was arrested trying to sneak in the Senate building during the protests. When asked why he did it, the young man only said that he wanted to meet Emil Ro. Rumors say that he is the Chancellor's new lover.
