So to summarize, I'm looking for a ship to steal in a thread that can work as a transport vessel / living quarters for Jorath and whomever might be working with him at the time. I figure a frigate or a yacht type ship are the best options for him and I'm just really looking for suggestions about any mass produced ones that he might actually encounter at a star port or something. I always sort of hesitate when it comes to pulling stuff from canon or from mass produced ones on the board so if anyone could maybe throw a suggestion for a couple that should be attainable I'd appreciate it. I was considering designing my own ship but me and tech write-ups have never gotten along (my armor literally took me a week and it's still not good). So yes! Suggestions please and thank you!

I would avoid frigates or ships that require crew more than 2, so that you aren't want to use the vast number of NPC's aboard that vessel for personal use inside various threads. Imagine the advantage owning a CR90 gives you when you can walk into a normal thread with 90+ marines while the other bloke, because he flies an X-Wing, has only an R2 unit.

I'm a fan of the following for personal use:
http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Firespray-31-class_patrol_and_attack_craft
http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/D5-Mantis_Patrol_Craft
http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/GAT-12_Skipray_Blastboat

Those all have exceptional firepower. These are more luxurious:
http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/J-type_diplomatic_barge (The crew are largely redundant here, so automation can eliminate the need for them - the ship is unarmed however)
http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/J-type_327_Nubian_royal_starship (same as above, but different look)
http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/H-type_Nubian_yacht (yet another Nubian design)
http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/J-type_star_skiff (Nubian, even less crew, equipped with defensive armaments)

I'm a sucker for the Nubian designs.

Clearly I need to have my character plead his case for his own Star Destroyer then begin taking a series of small scale missions with thousands of Stormtroopers. Jorath will become a beacon of Imperial waste and be known throughout the galaxy.

But no really, thanks for the suggestions. I'm actually leaning Nubian myself because they seem to be some of the only ships that have real definable living quarters with the exception of the D5 which I'm also partially interested in.. Either way thanks, suppose I'll bide my time and think on this till it comes time to pull the trigger in a thread...

Unless you look at CassaTech, it's extremely hard to find personal ships sexier than Nabooian vessels.

CassaTech has an incredibly sexy ship I'd love to get my hands on but from what I've seen, credits and currency seems to be kind of.. meaningless in a lot of cases outside of the Cartel, at least from what I've made of it so it's kind of hard to figure out personal wealth and stuff given there aren't set credit values that I've seen for a lot of Imperial Missions and stuff... Soo... Guess I won't be buying one.

You mean Pondervan Enterprises, which is a Cartel company, and we'll find you and kill you if you steal it.

Depends on the character who wants it, what their financial situation is, and what ship it actually is. Things like the Nelletta or the J-15B won't be overlooked, but the J-15A...

The Barloz is a particular favorite of mine.

The Buado, Starwind, and GZ1 Short Hauler are also pretty fun if you want a more luxurious ship.

The good old fashioned Ghtroc 720 is something of an old-timer's standby.

If you want something with a long duration, it's hard to go wrong with an E-9 Explorer.

For ships with lots of firepower, however, the YV-929, the YZ-900 or YU-410 are all seriously over-armed for their size.

Finally, if you're looking to haul an absolutely absurd amount of freight, the Wayfarer or the Space Master are definitely the way to go.

All of the ships I just linked require a crew of ten people or less, so automation is entirely within the perview, so long as you can get a couple of good mechanic droids. The last two definitely have the higher crew requirements, however, so you might want to steer clear of those.

The Baudo is very nice. The E-9 is also good and has a full floor layout somewhere on the internet. Finally, the Wayfarer cargo hold can fit two smaller starfighters in its cargo hold, making it a useful base of operations for you and several acolytes. That said, it probably requires some crew to maintain, rearm, and refuel the fighters, maintain the engines, and other things. Of course, there's always droids for that kind of crap. :)

EDIT: E-9 deck layout.

He can also replace the science-stuff with training stuff - no sensor pods, but meditation chambers, no library, but sparring room, no main lab, but conference room, forward sensors being escape pods... etc. Also, some bedrooms could be converted into things like droid storage/maintenance, heat sink (for stealth), or prisoner cell, etc.
