You can look through these tech profiles for ships. They'll be labeled with [Ship] (Obviously)
Make sure if you find one you like that it isn't a one-of-a-kind or restricted ship as well.
Either that or you can use any stock ship from the Star Wars universe.
Just be sure they are freighter-class or lower. :)

There's a mountain of them, problem is you have to dig.
Wookiepedia is an okay source, as well as our own tech forum as linked above. You also might find something that suits your needs in one of the main factions tech lists. If all else fails, google ubercool spaceships and do your own tech write up.
Edit: Also, just because a ship is an old design doesn't mean it can't be modernized, so if you find something you like the look of, run with it!

Don't forget that if you're writing your own up, you can always reach out to jiang in advance, I find it a bit easier to ask before hand, rather than to add even more to his always large list of profiles to review.

If you find one you like copy the link to your character profile. If its not one of a kind you should be fine. If it is, you'll be hearing from the Owner sooner or later.

Several rules apply:
1.) Keep your ship below Corvette-size.
2.) Do not try to abuse rule #1 by picking a Gunship. A good rule of thumb is that the minimum crew size should be 1.
3.) Remember the ship is primarily to get you around the galaxy or possibly do missions in.
4.) Note that the prevalence of CIWS on created capital ships significantly reduces the viability of smaller craft in large-scale PVP.
5.) Try to get a ship that will be useful in all RP, not just combat.
Use either the technology subforum or Wookieepedia as source material. All ships, regardless of era, are viable if chosen from Wookieepedia.

Ask the user who created the page first. The ship might be intended to be an unique one for their character, so might not be possible for others to use it directly.
