Pulling on her civilian jacket, Slate walked off the ship to the planet’s surface, a considerable bounce of pride in her step. The Empire was doing well in the war, and she was proud to be a member of the military, and was looking forward to her shore leave, even if it would probably be a short one. Though in the back of her there was the constant urge to strive for an even better Empire, all she wanted to do at the moment was find a cantina that she could unwind in.

The cantina the young private found was a shady one but she didn’t mind. After all, this was Empire territory, and there were a lot of bad people. Slate found herself sitting among many suspicious faces as she ordered her drink. Most of them probably had bad reputations sitting on their heads, of that she was certain. It wasn’t much of a bother to her, though. She herself had a reputation to uphold as a member of the Imperial Military, and if they tried something she always had her vibroblade on her.

Finding a table in the back of the cantina, rather than staying at the bar she rolled her shoulders, moving them so that her furred jacket would fit on her slender form better than had been, and sat. Wondering if anything interesting would happen in this bar tonight, and sincerely doubting it as she sipped her neon green drink.

Saint Jimmy was enjoying his new found freedom. Now that he worked for the Sith, he could get through the Imperial Martial Law. He found himself on a cantinia, in a set of civvies. The Empire still didn't like him carrying around weapons, so he was stuck in a set of "normal clothes". As he sat, drinking Corellian Firewhiskey (His favored drink), an Imperial soldier arrived. She was pretty enough, and Jimmy was in a friendly mood so he walked over to her and said "Evenin', private. How you doing tonight?"

An albino rodian sat in across from the Imperial soldier. He had a big score that he'd need some help for, and the Empire weren't friends of the Jedi. He figured anyone in uniform he asked would be more than obliged to help, maybe it was in there code of honour. Fools. He got up, his long and weighted robe slumped to the ground and dozens of rolls forms around his body. Only the lips of the albino rodian could be seen, his pearl hands hidden in pockets.

The rodian sat down next to the soldiers, waving with his alien fingers for two drinks at their table. "Hello, fighter. How goes the strangulation of the Alliance?" This was peppering talk, no matter who won his trade would always be around only in higher demand and more risk. He didn't mind more risk as long as credits followed suit. In his left hand, the one that hadn't called for the watress and thus was completely hidden laid a Verpine shatter gun, a lightsaber-killer.

Vaar'ika Jekai moved quickly through the streets, he was exhausted and bored, so he decided to find a cantina. He found one quickly and decided to enter it. As soon as he entered he thought "Perfect place to unwind". Vaar'ika Jekai looked around till he found the bar he then ordered a Corellian Ale. After Vaar'ika Jekai got his drink he looked around for a seat immediatly he noticed an imperial officer, a rodian and another person so decided to sit there. Vaar'ika Jekai walked over to the imperial officer, and asked "This seat taken?" as he pointed to a seat next to her "Sounds like your talking business and every business needs a mandalorian." he said with a smile.

Almost immediately when she sat down three men seemed to think that it was alright to come over and join her. Very well, company wasn’t something that she turned away. She looked up at the first, and her hair moved just to show the small spines on her face. “Hello there.” Slate scanned him over, trying to figure out what he was, soldier, independent? She couldn’t exactly decide, definitely someone who was working with the sith. “ I’m well, just unwinding. Yourself? ”

Then the second gained her attention, already sitting across from her. He was a rare sight. Well, Rodian’s weren’t exactly rare, but there weren’t many albino ones in existence. Admitedly, this piqued her interest in the man as she had had contact with Rodians with her father’s slave trading business. She smiled, it was just what she would like to talk about, of course it looked also as if he wanted to discuss business. “It’s excellent, of course.” A smirk crossing her face, and transforming into a smile. She could already tell that he would be an interesting conversation, if he did indeed want to discuss business in the end.

“Not at all.” Slate smiled at the third man, and moved her hand, offering up the seat next to her before bushing her hair back in place to hid the evidence of her not being completely zygerrian or human. “ If we are indeed discussing business, you’re quite welcome to join in.” She glanced back at the Rodian, looking forward to this discussion. Even though she wanted to relax, there was always room for these sorts of things.

The rodian's blood red eyes made contact with the two other table constituents. Making sure to hold his gaze for ten seconds with each before speaking, "You men best make yourselves get in line. I have real, galactic, business to take care of." His right hand entered his robe, clutching his second shatter gun. In truth the weapon was a pistol, but it had the capacity to be much more dangerous than the most tricked out blaster rifle on the field. His aggression seemed poised, focused. His eyes, his whole being, seemed only considering the existence of the two men that surrounded him and the woman he came to talk to.

Jimmy raised an eyebrow at the rodian then spoke very slowly. "Look here, buddy. You threaten me again, I'll rip your intestines out of your throat. Just cause they don't allow me to carry my blaster around doesn't mean I'm defenseless." his voice was menacing, and his left hand gripped the long vibroblade up his sleeve. If the rodian even tried to pull a gun on him, Jimmy could easily move in with his blade. At this close quarters, blade beat blaster any day.

Vaar'ika Jekai sits down and scans the room with his cybernetic eyes. He obsereves the Rodian and makes notice that its hiding its hands and remembering his past dealings and his own intuition he said "Perhaps it would be best if we intruduced ourselves, with our hands on the table, he made sure the rodian knew he was talking to him My name is Vaar'ika Jekai, a cybernetically modified Mandalorian. You all?" he said to his two newly met companions.

He then makes notice of the humans slight movement in his left sleeve. "Now come on! No fighting, we don't want things to get bad"

The rodian held the guns side-ways, keeping their silhouette low and the wrinkles from his over-sized robe only added to the expert camoflauge. His left hand held the barrel staring at the Imperial gentlemen, in his right the barrel for the cyborg. "I hold no such necessity. Things can get ugly, or things can dissipate calmly. I'm not saying you can't talk to this woman, only that it's imperative to Imperial matters that I do so first."

"Imperial matters, eh?" Jimmy asked, raising an eyebrow. "I suppose my employer would kill me himself if I got in the way." Jimmy shrugged. "Sorry about the threatening bit. I'll come back later." he said, taking his firewhiskey and walking back to his seat.

Vaar'ika Jekai relaxes and says "Now can we introduce ourselves?" still watching the Rodian "And put those away..." he asks nervously worried about the Rodian's reaction.

A small, cruel laugh escaped Slate's lips, raising an eye-brow as she observed the first two men. Each of them were posturing themselves around, acting like they each would only talk to her on their own, that was, save for the Mandolorian man who seemed to want them all to work together.

“Come now, boys.” She hissed and stood pulling out her vibroblade, half tempted to point it at the Rodian for starting this whole mess, but merely showed to make sure they knew that she wasn’t one to be trifled with. “Varr’ika Jekai has the right idea. I’d recommend that the three of you sit down if you have any intention of discussing anything with me. If you want to discuss something in private, we can get to that later.”

Black spew shot from the rodian's mouth, an expressive gesture, equal to the human sigh, showing his displeasure with the outcome. He was about to step away when the waitress placed the drinks, clearly used to any foreign excretions. He stayed quiet, reaching for his drink would have meant taking a hand off one of his shatter guns. That was not happening around this company, especially as the Imperial man sat back down after getting up. "Bring two more drinks for these fellows." He told the server, maybe getting them drunk would get them out of his hair. Killing them would ruin what he was trying to do with this woman, even if the 'Jeckal' vagrant was beginning to get on his nerves.

Raising an eyebrow, Jimmy returned to the table and took a seat next to the rodian. "James Fields, Independent Contractor, Sith Imperium." he told the table, eyeing the Rodian wearily. Something just didn't feel right about the guy, meanwhile he looked over at the Mando. Jimmy always liked Mandalorians, they were always fighting. Always creating chaos. He looked back at the Imperial Officer. "I apologize for my hostility earlier."

((Actually where I'm sitting is vague, I said I sat down next to the 'soldiers' so I could be near the Mando, the Imp or the Imp female))

Slate slipped her blade back into it's place, sitting back down, though she would watch the spitfire Rodian carefully. She liked his fire, showing that he wanted to discuss something privately was a bold move, which meant that probably what he had in mind was something that would be very advantageous to the Empire. " I'm Private Slate Gyllion."

As she introduced herself she looked at Jimmy. Working for the Sith Imperium. That was good. "A pleasure, Jimmy. Nice to know that you've allied yourself with the Empire."

(( Try to keep ooc convos. out of the thread, send pms if you need to. And I think we should come up with a posting order as it is. Myself, Buddha C, Evil Giraffe, Lucius.))
