"You can never go wrong with chips...", she added with a smirk, the headache slowly fading from the water and the slightly fresher air as they walked towards the elevator with Sig. She didn't even think about it, but once inside she realized that the times she had taken such lifts before could have been counted on one hand...

The movement of the elevator immediately made her a little dizzy and queasy, and she didn't even let go of his elbow for support. She closed her eyes and swayed a little due to the sudden motion sickness, before they landed on the ground floor and the awesome smell of the fully stacked buffet changed that all.

"Ohhh wow", she marveled at the abundant selection and walked out alongside him, her hungry gaze eagerly scanning the offer. Only now did she even realize that the hotel she now found herself in wasn't even the one she had booked, but it seemed like a massive upgrade after all.

"How much do I owe you for the room...", judging from the buffet, it was more than she had payed for her totally mid establishment. "I can't wait to dig in". They made their way to the buffet and she stacked a few things on her plate - scrambled eggs, bacon, some protein pancakes and fruit. It smelt fantastic and as soon as they sat down to try it, it tasted even better. "That's delicious af...", she hummed happily, slowly noticing how the savory meal fought off the hangover.

"Oh I'm free!", she chewed down another bite as she met his gaze again. "I'm down! I'll have to leave tomorrow, but today I'd love to tag along with you and your crew". They looked like just the right people to have a full day of shenanigans with, so she was hyped. She didn't miss the subtle compliment and it brought some color to her cheeks as a smirk tugged at her lips. "Well...you suck at darts, but you seem pretty cool yourself", she playfully teased before she emptied her glass of Meiloroon juice.

The deucalian scoffed at the thought before chuckling. "Nonsense, you don't owe me anything." The delicious breakfast quickly proved to be the superior choice to whatever 'chip' based meal they could have prepared upstairs. Not long later, the rest of the group joined them at the buffet and one by one introduced themselves.

Sig's smile widened as she agreed to tag along, lasting for a few moments before she made a rib at his darts play. "WELL that hardly seems fair considering darts was the only thing I managed to do well.." He grinned, before rubbing his own forehead. "For a few hours you had a pretty solid imprint of a microphone on your head."

Shortly after they had finished their breakfast, Sig offered his arm for Freyja to take if she so chose while the group made their way out of the foyer and into the street outside. The busy street was quite loud this early in the morning, with frantic commerce moving from one side of the city to the next, all manner of people and vehicles rushed about while Siggy's group strolled carefree.

"So Freyja, I saw the way you were staring at me in the bar last night after I told you my name." His voice was deep and calm, inviting even. "If you have questions for me, ask away. But I will answer only if you offer to do the same."

She literally frowned at him as he told her she didn't have to repay him. Had his last raid gone so well that he could easily rent such a room and service? "We'll see about that", she remarked quietly and even if it was a perfectly vague answer, the mischievous smirk that crossed her lips might have left him wondering what she had been alluding to.

The rest of his crew joined in and even despite the hangover, the mood was very cheerful. She introduced herself with her name, nothing else, and soon they were all feasting on the all-inclusive buffet. "Now that's a low blow", with feigned anger, Freyja threw him a playfully warning look before they all chuckled and soon made their way back out onto the streets.

The blinding light irritated her light sensitive eyes for a moment and she had to shield them from the sun for a moment before they slowly adjusted. Together, the diverse bunch strolled through the open streets while she still tried to put together the pieces of last night.

It didn't seem like they had a set target in mind, so they just kept on walking with lighthearted chatter before Sig suddenly leaned in. She met his gaze and pondered on his words for a moment, before she directly asked, "are you a full blooded Deucalian?". The question had been on her mind since yesterday, and she was intrigued still. The chapter was closed for her, but she was interested in his past still. Wasn't Trael chasing after Deucalians still?

As he suspected, she immediately latched onto his heritage, which made sense he supposed. "One of the few, yeah." He replied in turn. The sun was shining, the crew was excited and this new stranger was simply adorable, how could one not be enjoying life like this?

"Our numbers are few and yet we still find our ways to stamp ourselves upon the galaxy." He spoke with a sense of pride behind his words. "Is this the part where you tell me you're also Deucalian?" His grin grew, making an educated guess.

Carrying along the path, Freyja might have noticed a pair of the crew slip away, but none said anything about it as they straddled the pavement happily.

He rather proudly presented his heritage and while a tiny part inside her lit up in excitement, the smile on her lips was rather subtle. A few years ago, this meeting would have been much more interesting for sure, but she was on a different path now. Still, it was refreshing to meet an actual Deucalian again.

"You're not wrong...", she brushed her hairs behind her ears on the side that was facing him, so that he'd notice the slightly pointer ears. "Deucalian blood runs in my veins as well...I'm afraid you beat me there though". She had expected he was a literal purebred, but she couldn't tell him more about her past or true self, so she left it here.

"Interesting..it's been a while since I've last met one...", she threw him a smirk, before she decided she had to move this conversation elsewhere though. Her eyes slightly narrowed as his crew members slipped away and she attentively glanced after them in slight suspicion.

While she was feeling mischief too, she knew she couldn't draw too much attention here...that was when a shop caught her attention though and she immediately stopped in her tracks. "I've got a terrible idea", she amusedly remarked as her gaze flicked up to Sig again. "You see that costume store over there? Why don't we give ourselves a little makeover and cause some trouble?", she playfully suggested right then, as she wanted to have some fun before she'd have to return to her studies again the next day.

The accent combined with the slightly different ear shape confirmed that she wasn't full blooded Deucalian, but she made up for it in other ways. "I thought as much, your name notwithstanding, you have the confidence of a Deucalian warrior." A glint of pride in his eyes shone through.

The suggestion of her terrible idea caught him by surprise for a second before Sig promptly embraced the chaos, checking his chrono briefly. "Sure, we've got time before our next appointment." He added with an allure of suspense.

Walking into the costume shop, the vast array of options was boggling to the mind. Given Halloween had recently passed, there was still an influx of scantily clad costumes the store was working through. "Oh, is this a costume or lingerie store?" He suddenly said, not realizing it was out loud initially.

Naturally, it wouldnt be a proper costume party without something ridiculous and the array from a big bird, a large red cherry, among many others, had the Deucalian chuckling as they browsed.

"What theme are we going for?" He inquired, quite enjoying himself so far.

Even if she couldn't fully tell why, his comment drew a genuine smile from her. Her heritage was a thing of the past and with that chapter of her old master and his assault on their village closed, she was not bound to this part of the past anymore. However, she was glad the conversation moved on right after as she still didn't want her thoughts to linger at the moment.

She was glad he agreed to her admittedly unconventional suggestion and it was pure mischief that glistened in her gaze a moment later. "Appointment?!", not what revelation did catch her off guard a little though and she curiously raised a brow while they crossed the street to enter the shop.

"Is there a difference?", she amusedly asked, knowing that Halloween specifically was nothing but a slutty, horny festival after all. He absolutely had a point- most things offered on display could most certainly be worn in the bedroom and at a Halloween party both, but she doubted that for what she had in mind, such a fit would prove effective.

She browsed through the selection and considered important criteria: For once, their faces had to be concealed while they still had to maintain clear vision. Secondly, it couldn't immobilize them too much...suddenly something caught her attention: "What about sharks?", the sheer view made her giggle already.

The Deucalian couldn't help but laugh light-heartedly at her return question, the costumes seemingly proving her point true. Such was the power the mind had, to turn such seemingly innocent things into brilliant works of ...art.

That or people were just so dang horny.

But when Freyja pointed out the audacity that a shark costume would present, Sig grinned. "Bet you won't" He said, egging her on to try it. Taking one for himself, and not to be outdone by the half Deucalian, before walking into the changing room nearby with an added treat for good measure.

Pulling the curtain back, he simply waited for her return, upon which she'd be greeted by not only his shark costume but one that was enhanced. "What do you think?" He fought to hold back his laughter.

"Oh yeah?", she immediately raised a brow, a challenging smirk om her lips. It was her idea, obviously she'd go for it, but while she grabbed a regular blue shark first and disappeared into one of the changing rooms with a smirk, the moment he'd slip into a cabin, she'd race back out and return with something even better to put on.

The result was, that through rushing into the fit, she reppeared with a big grin and immediately broke into laughter as she spotted his costume. What he'd get to see was her donning a bright pink cute baby shark costume that was actually for relatively tall kids, or rather teens, but what were the odds? Obviously, the short Half-Deucalian still fit into it!

"That's...absolutely amazing. We're good to go". The spacious fluffy costumes offered enough space to hide some stuff inside, so whatever shenanigans they'd get up to, their faces weren't just decently covered, but they also had plenty of storage space! "But what else have you even planned? I dare you to keep wearing this until we're done with your appointment". She still wanted to know...she still had to know. At least they were indeed fully unrecognizable.

Her choice of costume was certainly something, and Sig couldn't help but imitate the Jawz theme as she made her way over toward him. How such an adorable looking shark could get up to mischief was anyone's guess, but that was exactly what they had planned.

"You can't win such dares with me, pinky." He grinned, accepting her challenge. Approaching the counter, Sig spotted the frail old lady manning the till. She was clearly someone who had seen far too many things, and she wouldn't even question what they were planning to do in the outfits they had chosen. Sig in turn answered none, dropping a tidy stack of credits on the assumption that they wouldn't be returning.

"Let's go see to that appointment, hmm?" He said, offering his arm as they would make for the exit and return to strolling the street. The next leg of their journey was much shorter than the first, although he enjoyed it all the same. The pair earned stares and glares from passer bys, but why let strangers sour moods ruin their fun?

At last, they reached a tall, fancy building that gave away its secrets upon its entrance. Sterling Banking & Co. Sig glanced toward Freyja with a smile. "When I give the signal, grab what's in your pocket and play along." Without giving her a chance to ask any questions, he hauled her inside with him. The bumbling idiot of a security officer, barely glanced above his newspaper as the bizarre pair waltzed right up to the next available teller.

This lady was likewise not amused, nor fazed by their antics, simply going along with it. "Name and business?" She asked, trying to maintain per professionalism.

But Sig likewise was cool as a cucumber and, like he'd practised the line a thousand times, offered his reply. "Name's You. Robbin' You." With a subtle grab, the Deucalian pulled out a blaster pistol, pointing it at the teller. Dressed as a shark dude.

In the background, the other members of their crew sprung into action, with one visibly knocking out the helpless guard. Freya, for her part, was free to do whatever she liked.
