Across the Outer Rim, huge swathes of entire worlds have fallen behind the mind-rim and core thanks to corruption and the degradation of infrastructure on these worlds. It has made the development of these planets near impossible, and so a large investment must be made to bring some of these planets 'up to speed'. Queen Réillata has made the decision to bring together a group of business beings and advisors in Theed, to set up an infrastructure bank, to set these wrongs to right.

Objective: Attend a meeting with the Queen of Naboo, and formulate a plan to generate funding and direct investment into the Outer Rim worlds of the Consortium.

Another meeting. Ever since becoming Queen, Réillata had spent less time actually 'governing' and more time in meetings with the people she was pretty sure thought they held all the power. Having just left a fascinating meeting to discuss plasma export rights and licenses, the Queen was actually looking forward to the next one.

Every Queen since history records could record had left behind a legacy, a project or a programme of works that had outlasted them, inspiring generations that followed into a life of service to others. Queen Réillata was keen to get the work on her own legacy, started. Today was the start of this process, a meeting that would agree on the method and source of funding for the 'Veruna Initiative', a program that would bring investment into the poorer worlds of the Consortium, under the banner of the Naboo.

She was not a financial expert.

So she had brought some in. And as she entered the room, to a 'thunk' of stamping feet as her guard stood to attention, she swept in and assumed her seat at the head of the table, noting how the others waited for her to sit down, before they did so themselves. Adorned in the royal robes, heavy-set silk and golden-thread garments, and a large hairpiece, her face painted white in the traditional style, she sat and looked around the table to see who she was working with.

Celeste actually started to wonder when she had started with all of those unconventional diplomatic missions. First, there was the whole story about the Rattataki. She had no idea how things could have escalated that quickly but now she was the (still rather) unofficial senator of this far far away Outer Rim planet. She could have just stayed on Kalist, keeping her company going, but something was always calling her away. She was driven, driven by a strange force she could not yet understand. It was not just a drive for power and expansion, but rather something deeper. A deep desire hidden inside her unconsciousness. Rattatak had proved that she had it inside her. She was convincing enough to reestablish a true political system on a planet that relied on the tyranny of warlords before. So why not flying just deep inside the territory of the ISC and meeting with the newly crowned Queen of Naboo? Why not trying to establish a mutual beneficial system with yet another planet far far away?

With an immense ammount of confidence she descended the ramp of her Yacht. She was clothed in a stunning newly made dressed that made her look like more than just a senator or a company heiress. There was simply more to it. Something incredibly powerful. The silver fabric of the made-to-measure dress flattered her shape and let probably most people forget that she was a trained Sith. She looked more like a politician, or rather even like a business woman instead of like a Sith Champion. And she felt the same way as well. She might have been powerful, trained and all, but she was no loyal, blind follower of the Empress. She was the respected leader of an influential company and freshly inaugurated senator of another planet. She had even been declared a citizen there, by the also newly crowned Queen. And now she was supposed to meet another ruler of an independent planet, my means of generating fundings. This could just become very interesting indeed...

It was growing increasingly rare to find a day when Galek wasn’t booked up with appointments or long, drawn out meetings. Ever since the recent Core integration into the Consortium, and more recently that entire episode on Kashyyyk, Galek had been working in overdrive - bouncing from planet to planet to help oversee projects throughout the Consortium. Grueling as his schedule had become, the Induparan couldn’t help but feel a distinct sense of pride in the upward momentum he saw all across their territory.

Galek had been on Radnor - attending a presentation for in-development weapon’s defense systems - when he received the invitation to Naboo. While he had yet to acquaint himself with the recently elected Queen of Naboo, the Induparan was far more interested in the ‘Veruna Initiative’ that she proposed. The Outer Rim would always make up the backbone of the Consortium, and Galek was in full support of any efforts to bring continued development and infrastructure to its worlds.

Within only a few short hours of receiving the invitation, Galek had boarded a shuttle and departed for Naboo - preparing himself for what was bound to be yet another eventful series of meetings.

Galek adjusted the amethyst pin on his breast, giving his attire the once-over before confidently strolling his way into the meeting room. As was his tradition, Galek arrived at the Palace adorned in the regal style of his homeworld - wearing an embroidered, gold sherwani - alongside a crimson dupatta draped across his shoulder and under his arm. His black hair was perfected styled into place, while his outfit was accessorized with a chrono on his wrist and a multitude of gaudy rings that adorned his fingers.

The Induparan made his way towards the table - spotting the seat reserved for himself. Hazel eyes briefly flicked over to regard a woman already in the room as well, giving her a brief nod of his head in acknowledgement. His attention was promptly snatched back to the entrance when the Sande made her appearance - looking every bit the monarch as she took her place at the head of the table.

Galek dipped his head towards the woman, a charming smile tugging at the corners of his lips as he bent ever-so-slightly at the waist. “Your Majesty.”

"Governor," she nodded as the Indupar representative and fellow Consortium leader entered the meeting room, alongside the other representative, from the Sith Empire. She had to admit, it felt somewhat strange to be entering into bargains with the Sith, after their history, but, different times led to strange bedfellows. "- thank you both for coming."

"The matter before is a serious one. We have an opportunity to do a great deal of good, harnessing the resources of the Naboo, expanding infrastructure and much more across the Outer Rim planets of the Consortium. One of the first recommendations that I have seen put before me by my Ministers, is a small toll on the export of Plasma from Naboo, which could bring in revenue for this effort." she paused, looking at the two guests.

"To begin with, I would welcome any thoughts you had on this venture."

Celeste was guided into the arranged room, letting her gaze wander over the foreign architecture. She had learned a lot about Naboo over the last few years, as she was always eager to absorb as much important information as possible. The newly elected Queen Réillata was said to possess an keen intellect and it was always mentioned that she was unrelentless in her pursuits and ambitions. Funnily enough, the young Highness's reputation, even the rumors about her manipulative traits, reminded Celeste way too much if herself. She was truly eager to meet the woman who was said to able to keep up with her own persuasiveness, and thus in a rather positive mood.

While entering the widespread room, she quickly reciprociated Governor Ordalos' nod with a charming smile and according gesture, before bowing respectfully before the approaching Queen. "Your Royal Highness, it is truly a pleasure to meet you in person. I have honestly appreciated the invitation" she greeted the Queen politely. She patiently waited for her to sit before doing the same.

When the Queen raised her voice again, Celeste observed her traditional face painting with great interest, as this was also the first time she saw something like that in person, while listening attentively. The Nabooian had always valued their elected monarchy just like their traditions and Celeste truly appreciated the prospect of experiencing their culture at first hand. Once the Queen had stated her first matter of interest, Celeste straightedge her back while crossing her legs elegantly, before addressing the Majesty. "Naboo surely has countless valuable resources to offer and I appreciate your willingness to use them as a means to progress. From my own economic perspective, I understand your ministers' reasons behind proposing the imposition of a small toll. It would surely generate valuable funding.", she pointed out, directing her gaze at the Governor. She was surely curious about his opinion, as he was coming from the Consortium and he could thereby exhibit different views.
