Cost: 50,000 Credits

Weight: 40 kg

Composition: Durasteel (outer plating), Alum (internal structure), Stygian-Triprismatic Polymer (heat dispersion plates), elastic armorweave (internal body glove), transparisteel (eye sockets)

Rating: 8/10 (Heat Based), 6/10 (Projectiles), 8/10 (Shrapnel)

Description: The Paladin Assault Armor by Stiel Industries was designed for combat in situations where cover is expected to be scarce, such as the halls of a large building or inside a capital ship. By all standards, the armor is exceptionally bulky, in built servomotors mediate this somewhat, but still leave the user at quite a loss for agility. The very noticeable non-metallic armoring is of a heat resistant polymer for additional protection against blasters or similar weapons. With boarding actions a primary design focus of the armor, each suit is equipped with magnetic boots, radiation shielding, and an inbuilt oxygen recycler capable of functioning for two standard days. Other features include head mounted flashlights, a fully customizable head's up display, capable of directly linking with compatible weapons, a motion detector with a range of roughly twenty meters, and military grade command and control softwear to maximize squad performance. Each helmet is equipped with automatic dimmers, which shield the wearers eyes from blinding flashes, and a surround sound system, allowing the wearer to perceive sounds from the location they originated from, unlike most armors.

Optional equipment includes a variety of personal shield generators, ranging from full body shielding to custom arm mounted mag-shield projectors and zero-G maneuverability packs. Re-entry packs, which consist of a single use grav-repulsor and a powerful single use thermal shield that can withstand the heat of passing through most atmospheres, are also available for purchase.

Everybody keep their pants on, now. Semi-powered armor though? This is pretty sweet. I think the proper term is polarized as opposed to "automatic dimming". This armor definitely needs weight and lack of agility as its a very strong suit of armor otherwise.

This is very cheap for what it does. I would up the price to about 375,00.
