Sick act

The Empire's black ops, the ex-felons, has been tasked - without any surprises - to take out the trash. The Czerka Corporation requested explicit secrecy from the agents. The dynamic duo, Tomic Domin and Jayscreec Alecwit had some experience dealing with these kind of situations. Jay was also a felon, so perfect match for this mission.

The targeted research lab took place on Onderon, in a poor district of Iziz. Czerka reported activities of human experiments on injured people, which wasn't the main issue. They could be developing new medicine as well. Who cares? The issue's simply that it refused to talk with Czerka's representatives. The whole operation's funding appeared shady, without enough information in the database.

The two agents brought an ambulance into the facility. While the pilot maneuvered the small craft inside, they kept him at gunpoint from the back.

"If you signal them you know you're dead." - the agent warned the pilot.

Jay wafted his vacant hand from side to side, his index and middle finger pointed at the driver. He signaled to his partner that he was going to kill him. But the idea remained to do it stealthy as long as possible.

A tall man and a short woman, both dressed in white lab coats approached the vehicle. Blood covered the interior. Jay shot his victim in the head head, at the time the duo was close enough to Tomic's side.

Tomic checked his rifle for any issues with it as he and Jay headed towards the target. Their way of entering the place was... different. Thankfully he was kitted out in his full armour so this shouldn't come back to bite him in the future but there were laws against impersonating medics on the battlefield for reasons very similar to this actually. They were going to be gaining access to the enemy by pretending to be non-combatants.

The one thing that Tomic was happy with about this assignment was that he was working with someone he knew. The rest? Well the people they were going to be killing were not good people but then again the people who hired them were scumbags in their own right so it wasn't like they were on the side of the angels.

Seeing the signal from Jay, Tomic stifled a sigh and instead signaled his acknowledgement instead. Rather than kill the woman as Jay had done to the man, Tomic instead grabbed her throat in one armoured hand and dragged her to the ground, where he pressed the barrel of his blaster pistol to her eye.

"Say anything I don't ask you to say, do anything I don't want you to do, and I will end you."

The woman whimpered her understanding.

"Give me your passwords for accessing the building properly." he glanced to his partner, "J, take the man's passcard."

Every now and then seemingly the facility's contracts brought new sick people through the garage. Jay figured they couldn't leave the bodies just out there, so he dragged them into the vehicle - and since Tomic spared her life, - he put there the girl from the lab. He quickly went to tie her, seal her mouth and take everyone's cards. Tomic either liked this girl or forgot the task. They were here to kill the researchers. "We'll need to make sure they cease this operation." Jay said.
He hid his blaster pistol under a coat and entered the facility. He faced an empty corridor. Inside he grabbed a disposable protective cloth and put it on. The lab assistants made some noise inside the break room.
Jay approached the room with the speed of a happy child, but the guard stood in front of him. "Who are you?" The stranger asked as he crossed his arms below his chest.
"I work here. We are about to bring inside two more."
"No, Lucca went outside to get them. Where is Isa?"
"Isa is outside with them."
"Let me call--"
"No! There's no need." Jay interrupted. "I need to roll out a stretcher." But the guard didn't have any of it. So the agent reached behind his back awkwardly, like he was nervous. In a second he grabbed his vibroblade and stabbed the guard in his throat. The walls were covered in blood. If anyone passed, they would know their enemy has been here."Damn it. Let's wipe that room." Jay scoffed.

[Tomic Domin]

Tomic had not, in fact, forgotten the mission.

He listened as the terrified woman gave him all of her passwords before he acted. Before Jay could tie her up, Tomic pulled the trigger and blasted her brains out across the floor before tossing her body into the van. He hadn't spared her life - he had interrogated her and then ended her when she had served her purpose.

"Fire tends to help with that." he joked dryly, "Think their fire safety is up to code?"

Their attempts at stealth weren't going very well...

"Time to go loud." he told Jay before nodding towards the wall, "But smart."

Reaching the wall, Tomic reached out and pulled the fire alarm.

Their mission was to destroy the facility and it's research - the researchers were part of that but it would be a lot easier to destroy the first two when the building was empty due to the alarm and the researchers would be waiting outside in a fire assembly point when they were ready to end them.

Tomic stood in front of the corpse to hide it from view as worried researchers and guards began to stream towards the exit with Tomic waving them on.

"Assemble at the fire assembly point! Myself and my friend here will search for stragglers!"

They bought it and pretty soon they were alone in the labs.

"Time to start a fire."

Tomic's idea was great, but it put them on a serious timer. As alarms went off the authorities started a fire unit, and the gathering still had to be dealt with. Then the two partners had to disappear quickly. This wasn't the kind of mission where they could flash their military identification cards to get away with it.

Jayscreec rolled his weapons of destruction into the crowd. The three explosives went off among them. The unarmored people got hit by one fragmentation grenade and two concussion bangers. Before they could realize what was happening, Jayscreec fired into them repeatedly through the smoke, using his Gladius Blaster Rifle. They painted the floor red. The gathering point looked like nothing anyone ever imagined. In Jay's eyes those people were rebel rats, who had been developing something against the Empire. To use against his soldiers, his own people, brothers and sisters. He showed

He crouched down to recharge his rifle. Jay's gaze shifted towards Tomic. "We need to get out of here. Want to grab that ambulance?"

Jay walked closer with his rifle high-ready. Five survivors tried to crawl for their life. The agent only spared the two guards. Only the lab workers had to go.

Flashing blue lights appeared on the buildings at the other side. Jay ran inside and jumped into the ambulance's back. "We got company!" Jay shouted as he laid down and dragged the driver's body - his human shield - closer.

Destroying the lab was to be his job it seemed.

Setting off the alarms had the people out but their mission had been to wreck the lab and the people were only ever going to be part of that issue. He pulled his grenades from his belt and tossed them across the lab closer to some of the pressurized gas canisters that the lab stored.

He wasn't even sure what they were inside the canisters but it really didn't matter. What mattered was that when the grenades exploded they did so violently and some of the gas released caught on fire. Almost immediately fire began to engulf the lab they were in and it was suddenly very much time to leave.

Nodding to Jay, Tomic exited the lab but that was a bad idea.

The arriving police officers opened fire and Tomic wasn't in cover yet. He dove for cover but still managed to take a shot to his gut, which burned even with his armour on. Thankfully it wasn't anything vital.

The arriving forces slowly began to contain the area. To avoid killing reserve imperial forces, or other law enforcement officials, Jayscreec had to think of something quickly.

The authorities pinned down Tomic, but luckily the makeshift ambulance stood unharmed. Well, inside blood covered nearly everything, but no one could see that from the outside. The garage had two entrances, one on the southern and one on the northern side. With the last explosive he brought he prepared his trick, then entered the speeder. The driver who was shot earlier fell to the ground. The agent showed no remorse at all.

"Partner, I am coming. The door will be open, jump inside!" Jayscreec said via their com-link.

In the middle of this massive police situation a truck painted as ambulance appeared out of nowhere, seemingly from the building. It stopped almost in the middle of the fight and stood there for a couple seconds. The forces froze, they dared not to shoot. Only the most experienced, their sergeant started screaming orders. They cleared the area and also followed the agents, who went into the building's garage again. As soon as they passed the entrance a loud explosion echoed from the inside and the building collapsed behind them. They couldn't follow. They had to go around. Although it was too late. In this district they never dealed with anything like this, nor had the resources to do so.

All left was a pile of bodies and a burning unmarked building on the scene.
