Tsisaar stood waiting in the hangar on Ziost, becoming ever so slightly impatient. He'd recently been given a mission to complete, alongside two fellow acolytes. One of the two was currently indisposed and would not be able to aid him, but the other, a Zabrak man named Yusanis, had yet to arrive. He wasn't late, per se, but Tsisaar wanted to be leaving as early as was possible to deal with this mission.

After all, the pair had a long trip ahead of them, having to fly to the Mandalorian outpost of Chai La and either take down or recruit a clan...after killing their leader. It would likely be difficult to say the least. Still, each one had their weapons and the Force on their side, which gave them an advantage that could hopefully counter their lesser numbers than Clan Ferr.

In order to stop himself from starting to pace, Tsisaar went and leaned against the ship he and Yusanis (hopefully the Zabrak would prove as great a warrior as the ancient Echani general whose name he shared) would be taking, calmly stroking one cheek tendril, his outward appearance peaceful and at odds with his inner impatience. Hopefully the pilot wouldn't prove equally impatient.

The young Mandalorian recruit stared down the sights of her blaster, keeping the weapon primed at the improvized target she'd set up. The sound of other blaster shots hit her ears periodically, reminding her that she should've probably fired by now, but she still hadn't.

She was still holding her blaster up, staring at the target with a glare so intense one had to wonder if she hadn't decided to engage the animal skull in a staring contest.

She squeezed the trigger, a single bolt of energy flew out of her gun and bore right through the center of the skull, leaving a smoking hole as the mark of her success.

When she finally lowered her gun to look over at her instructor, her gaze was immediately drawn to the larger figure standing behind him. Completely clad in Mandalorian Armor stood the Aliit'alor himself.

The Mandalorian Chief slowly drew a virtual line with his gaze from her to the target, acknowledging the deed with a very slight nod of his head before he walked off, inspecting some of the other recruits.

The recruit followed Feruun Ferr for a brief moment before her instructor ushered her back to work. Getting even that minor bit of acknowledgement from Feruun was a definite step up.

Feeling encouraged, she proceeded to give the skull a better workout than it'd ever gotten in waking life.

Tsisaar shooks his head in annoyance and disgust, after having waited the better part of a couple hours. If he was going to get he mission finished on time, he had to leave now, and Yusanis wasn't showing up at all. He turned around, boarding the shuttle he would be taking to Chai La, with the ramp closing behind him. He turned to the pilot.

"Chai La outpost, on Taris," he commanded, his impatience shunting aside his normally polite demeanour. "You know the coordinates, correct?" The pilot nodded, and after Tsisaar quickly strapped himself in, the ship took off, shortly afterwards being able to enter hyperspace and take Tsisaar to the planet where his mission was to take place.

- - - - - - - - - - -

Not particularly long after that - thanks to a rather powerful and fast hyperdrive - Tsisaar was being awoken from a small nap. He looked out the viewport, and nodded at the pilot, strapping his lightsaber onto his belt. Taris had never again become quite the large ecumenopolis it had been before the Jedi Civil war, and on some of the continents, there were ruins and jungles to be found rather than cities, and that would be where the Mandalorians were hiding, the ship that had been home to the Chai La squad now having been turned into a sedentary outpost, home to what little remained of Clan Ferr.

And now it was supposed to be Tsisaar's mission to finish the destruction of Clan Ferr, either physically or culturally. It left a sour taste in his mouth; he thought it a waste to end a culture due to the Imperium's views on them. Perhaps he could convince them to join the Stormtroopers instead, and serve a better purpose, and maintain their history...but Feruun Ferr had to die.

The shuttle touched down about a mile away from the Mandalorian base, Tsisaar exiting the spacecraft before it took off again. No doubt Clan Ferr had picked up some sort of sensor reading on the ship, and would be coming to meet him soon. Still, he could at least trust in Mandalorian Honour not to kill him instantly, so long as he didn't act stupid himself. So he walked down the trail, lightsaber at his belt, dark clothing - without the outer robe, given where he was - loosely swaying on his body.

Then, shortly afterwards, a small group of Mandalorian warriors, about four or five of them, burst out of their hiding places, surrounding him. He smiled - he'd sensed them long ago - but knew that he'd be better off if they let him stop him.

"Ah, hello," he said to the group. "I've come to speak with Feruun Ferr, your Alor. I have a challenge to give him."

The leader of the ambush party lowered his weapon to regard the Sith Acolyte for a moment or two. Finding no indication of jest or lie, he gestured for his warriors to fall in line around them, to escort the Sith to their compound. He sent a message ahead of time to let Feruun Ferr know what was coming.

So when the party entered the sheltered Mandalorian Compound, Feruun was standing in wait past the entrance, flanked by a pair of Mandalorian sentries, to await the Sith's arrival.

"I've been told you have a challenge for me? Then I ask you to speak, Sith, and let us know why you have come here"

One of the things that most annoyed Tsisaar about Feruun Ferr - and some other beings in the galaxy - was the fact that he had to look up at an annoying angle just to properly look them in the eyes. He didn't find it particularly humiliating, or anything like that, though; it just made his neck hurt having to look up all the time. As he was now. Feruun was about a head taller than Tsis was, and bulkier too.

Tsis was in for a fight.

"Yes, Alor Ferr, indeed I do," Tsisaar proclaimed, in full view and hearing of all those in the compound. "Since the Imperium's attack on the planets held by your people, you - and many others well known - have been wanted men. The Empress and the Dark Lord want your head, dear sir." He brought a hand up, stroking one of his facial tendrils while he looked over Feruun quickly, trying to size up the man as best he could. He was also thankful that he wouldn't be recognized as an acolyte, here; they'd only be able to assume he was a full-fledged Sith, unless they had knowledge they shouldn't. Hopefully he would be able to prove himself with the ability of a full-fledged Sith as well.

"Still, there are some among us with an understanding of honour, which is why we won't just bombard you and call it done. Alor Ferr, I have come to challenge you to single combat, to the death." He stopped stroking his tendril, instead gesturing to the others around. "If I die, then your Clan - and yourself - will be able to go free, though I wouldn't recommend staying here. Should you die, then it will be up to your clan to decide their own fate...hopefully in an honourable fashion themselves." Tsisaar straightened himself, shoulders back and spine erect, presenting a rather proud, and more importantly, sure figure to all those watching.

"Accept, and the duel shall begin at once. Decline, and you shall be named a coward, under witness of your own clansmen - and I doubt they will even consider you fit for leadership, after that. What shall it be?"

Feruun could tell the Sith was not joking, he was 100% serious, and that was a plus in his books. Willingness to fight on his enemy's terms was an honorable gesture

Of course, he didn't really have a choice either way, as the Sith had already made very clear. Naturally his following response was the only appropriate one.

"Very well, I accept your challenge. Let the duel begin"

With a gesture, Feruun dismissed his honor guard. Once his clansmen had ringed out a wide circle for the duelists, Feruun drew a long sword sheathed at his side. The small Sith was either tremendously stupid or a legitimate threat to make this challenge. Feruun felt safe in assuming the latter was the case.
