Hi all—
This is your friendly, neighborhood, galaxy-murdering psychopath here with an update on all things Sith. Firstly, and most importantly, I would like all of you to welcome @Ecclessey as our newest AFL. In the coming days, he's going to be helping us out with mission packs, roster updates, and activity checks. Be sure to congratulate him! We're all excited to see what he'll do for our faction!
Second order of business, faction tech! Some of you may have already noticed this, but Sith just got a bunch of new tech approve: including a new capital-class vessel, a new interceptor, and some new armor for our troopers. Currently, we are trying to get some armor for the Dark Honor Guard through the approval process, so, if the Guard is where you see your character going, keep your eyes on our tech section! Major thanks to @Intratec for all his work on getting our faction tech up to date.
Thirdly, battles. The Battle of Ithor is currently underway. If you are participants, this is a reminder to keep an eye on your thread and on your posting times. Don't get skipped because you forgot to post! More battles will be coming down the pipeline pretty soon. I've got one going through the approval process right now; as soon as Ithor winds down and a few more things get settled, you can expect to see sign-ups regarding that battle.
Lastly, missions. @Vinny and I are working on a robust new system of doing mission packs, which will allow all of you much more of a say in how you go about completing objectives, while allowing room for your characters' personal stories to be intertwined. We're hoping that this increases your desire to continue and finish your missions, so that we can get some expansions approved. As an aside, all of us are working diligently to write up some cool new mission packs, so keep that in mind as well going forward.
