Open to Jedi an GA

They had lain dormant for a thousand years. Not frozen in cryogenic chambers or sealed in stasis - no there was no need for creatures such as them. They simply slumbered dreaming of a time where a new master would command them to wreak havoc and destruction. Generations had come and gone and many of their siblings had been ferreted out and destroyed either fortunately while they slept or at the cost of much Jedi and Alliance life while they were awake.

But through the art of divination someone had managed to find their resting place. Someone had sent his servant in order to command them to rise up. And so they did. Shaking the dust of ages from their armour and reclaiming their weapons for use. Dated but still perfectly functional and highly deadly. The servant spoke to them telepathically telling them that his master was a most powerful and secretive alchemist who desired to study each and every breed of Sith Spawn documenting their strengths and weaknesses. One of his other servants - a woman named Valencia had been taken captive by the Alliance while documenting the destructive power of a Battle Hydra. The master wanted those who participated in this mission dead as he understood that Valencia would not divulge information but if the Jedi who were showing up began to connect the dots things could become problematic.

And thus a trap was set. Several important government officials were captured - their vehicle's attacked by armoured giants that seemed to simply ignore their guards weapon fire as if it were nothing - in one case actually carrying away the speeder that the politician was residing in.

A reliable source traced both the giants and their captives to a certain sewer and thus the Alliance sent its warriors forth and the trap was sprung.

Aside from the smell of effluence and the algae growing on the walls Rathru actually felt at home in the sewer tunnels. Back on Iego he had lived a mostly subterranean life dwelling in the caverns that were owned by his clan. Some of the more vain maidens of his species had never seen sunlight believing it to mar their carapaces and tarnish their beauty. Rathru supressed a laugh as he thought about the ridiculous belief. Then again vanity seemed to be everywhere in the galaxy and this 'botox treatment' which seemed very popular among humans , twi'leks and those strange purple was equally as ludicrous if not more so. But it was time to drive away such errant thoughts - he was preparing for battle and a fierce one at that. Very close by in the tunnels a Sith had utilised six spawn of an unidentified breed in order to kidnap some highly influential people who he was holding hostage. No demands had been sent yet though the Alliance believed it was only a matter of time. What was more worrying however was that the spawn seemed capable of using advanced technology and working together as an effective team. No matter Rathru trusted his both his blade and his comrades.

And there it was. Stopping as quietly as he could Rathru peered around the corner and took in the scene. A great cavern used perhaps for storage . The edges lined by flowing water barred by sturdy looking barriers. In the centre of the room the politicians lay in a makeshift cage bound and gagged for good measure. Standing next to them was the Sith - a man of indeterminate species wearing a red full covering bodysuit complete with visor. However the most apparent thing about the room was the six great figures standing guard at strategic locations. Each over 12 feet tall and clad from head to toe in red armour and robes their pose spoke of deep malice and hatred for all life. Armed with vibro axes and blaster's that were larger than most portable cannons it was clear that they were ready for even the most fierce conflict at a moments notice.

Rathru mulled over how to attack. The initial move in this encounter would be vital to success and If engaged badly the entire battle could be lost before it had even begun.

There would be no backing down however.

Justice would be served.

Gol stood behind Rathru, he was shrouded in a black combat armour an upgrade to him regular combat suit heavier plates of armour covered vial areas he held his masters lightsaber in his right hand a new fashioned lightsaber in his left the blade was alien in his grip and felt strange, he'd been forced to refashion his weapon after the Hydra after his old lightsaber had burned out, his robes a new ash colour hung about his shoulders making him blend into the darkness of the tunnels. H's repaired cybernetics were working perfectly and his voice had smoothed out a lot which he was also getting used to, he turned his head to Rathru whispering his voice a low hiss.

"What's the plan?"

WHAT...!? NO!

Ignis was alarmed by the choice to send the occupants of the Slayer mission on this errand, trap was written all over it, though there was little the Jedi master could do. So he ran, ran to catch up with the Jedi who had been making their move for the location of the underground sewers, without the use of force speed he had procured his own speeder and seemed to have made it just in time, he sensed no conflict beneath the surface of the ground. With a feat of parkour he managed to dive down into the sewer as Rathru and the other padawan would have been walking to their destination, closing the gap faster and faster, they would sense his coming.

His force signiture and his speed would give off the illusion of him using force speed, as opposed to his natural sprint, until he finally reached them, not calling out, but when he realized that there were six of the sintinels he realized hust how horrific this trap truly was. Raising his hand, to rathrus' sword, he began to use his skill in drain energy, calling the power to himself, enough to empower him for this fight. Even at fulll capability, he saw devastation for all life in the eyes of the sentinels. But Ignis began to look, and feel, no longer tired at all.

Drawing the two ultrachrome blades, he looked to the others at either side.

The three of us cannot possibly take two on one each, We need a battle plan, or another member to the team. Jedi records a thousand years old identify what these giants of dark design were, I never thought I would ever live to seem them awaken... Rathru, are you able to hold off two of these for but a time? Just a minute or so with that blade of yours...

He spoke beginning to devise strategy, he'd sent a message out to other Jedi from former Slayer missions and abroad for an urgent S.O.S on this situation, hopefully one, maybe two more would arrive. Ignis, a Jedi master of martial arts and combat may be able to hold of two of these beasts on his own, but it would be a fight even a Jedi master would not be able to win... merely buy time for. He dreaded the thought... Though, if he and rathru could eatch match up with two, the others who fought one on one, if they were to win, could seperate to their fights to even the score, and lead to victory... There was risk involved, but Ignis saw little other way, other than to retreat, potentially leading to the deaths of the officials.

The sewers, the last time Jolla had been in a sewer he was hunting for feral hutts with some help, the stench of burned hutt flesh was not something quickly forgotten, still Jolla had a real reason to be in the sewers this time. He had been hired by a highly influential individual to secure his son, who had been taken along prisoner as a bargaining chip against the Galactic Alliance. Jolla was to make sure that the boy safely escaped his captors, and to make sure that those captors pay for their crimes, he was to do this and in return his employer would look into his "ghost" problem. For Jolla there was no reason to decline, since he was going to try and secure the hostages anyway, and he really wanted to find this ghost before he could rebuild and strike again.

So now, Jolla was walking through the sewers, dressed in his usual trench coat, and cigar in mouth as made his way through the filth and decay of the sewers. Eventually he reached to where the rest of the group was, and walked towards them casually, flicking his cigar away, as to not give their location away to their enemies. "Hello, comrades" he said nonchalantly, as he observed the situation, hostages and sith in the middle with the sentinels located strategically around the room. Jolla also listened as his comrades discussed battle plans, before interjecting with his own "How about, you let me distract the big guys or at least most of them, while you three free the hostages and kill the Sith. Be quick though, I don't know how long I can hold them all off. If you want, one of you may join me" he said, at first asking, but towards the end of his sentence it was made obvious that he was going to do it anyways, since he knew that engaging the sentinels in a fair fight would be suicide, so instead of engaging them head on, he wanted to distract them while the rest of the team cut off the head of the snake.

Now with plan in mind, Jolla lit another cigar and smoked it for a second, calming his nerves. He then ran into the room, drawing his pistol and firing three times at the first sentinel he saw, causing it to turn its head towards the Tethan. Jolla continued his taunt by charging the imperial sentinel in front of him and firing around five times, making it raise its vibroaxe, with both hands, and strike at him with force that would tear the Tethan apart. Luckily, he saw that one coming, and quickly rolled out the way, before realizing that the Sentinel had stuck his axe into the duracrete and was completely vulnerable. Taking advantage of this, Jolla climbed onto the sith spawn's arms and run up the sentinel, soon reaching the beast's head, before jumping off it back, but still facing the back of the sentinel so that he could get off a few shots aimed at its head, causing it to become even more angry and annoyed at Tethan, while Jolla felt his back strike the floor, hard.

This act of daring and skill, almost immediately drew the attention of the other Sentinels and they quickly came to the stuck sentinel's aid, Jolla had done his part. Now all he need to do was keep their attention while the others freed the hostages, but now with the added sentinels the odds were stacking up against him, still the Tethan was not easily discouraged, as he already had another plan. Quickly, he got back up and ran back towards the stuck sentinel, climbing once more on it's shoulders, while the other sentinels approached. Meanwhile, Jolla used his new elevated state to fire his blaster at the approaching sentinel's heads, causing them to become enraged, and making one of them fire his blaster at Jolla; as before, Jolla expected this and was quick to move out the bolts way, letting it enter the stuck sentinel's head instead, immediately killing it and bringing it down.

Now with one down, things were a little bit easier, but it didn't change the fact that he was still outnumbered and, in a way, outmatched, causing it to be obvious that he would need help soon or risk being killed by the other five sentinels, who were now clearly very pissed at the Tethan.

"Well the element of surprise is gone, I'll go after the Sith, you're both more suited to to dealing with the big things."

He leapt from their vantage and rushed towards the Sith alchemist using force speed to push his assault he leapt igniting both blades as he came down, the Sith responded with a lightsaber of their own the blade bright red against his own orange and cyan blades, the new blade was stronger than his last and quicker the material used for the hilt virtually weightless but the Sith was schooled in the lightsaber combat and nimbly blocked his flurry of attacks backing up with each step. His mind while focused on the battle between the alchemist and himself wondered if the impatience of the stranger would cost them their lives.

His mind was dragged to full focus as he side stepped a quick thrust the blade cutting through his robes filling his senses with the sharp smell of burning fabric he twisted on his feet backing up and extinguished his blades swapping them from each hand as he did and pulled off the robe throwing it at the assaulting Sith, the red blade hacked through he fabric but met his cyan blade, the Sith snarling as the orange blade held in a reverse grip flashed up to cut him in half.

He could tell the Sith was familiar with form VI combat his blade moving to intercept each attack swatting his blades away he twisted his foot changing his stance and shifted for form V catching the Sith off foot for a second before shifting back to form VI and pressing his advantage his blades flashed in a blistering arc as he took the blade from the Sith's hand, he almost landed a crippling blow when e Sith turned the force against him sending him sprawling across the ground with a powerful push, he rolled from the attack coming to his feet ready to attack again. The Sith smiled as he pulled his own robes off and summoned his blade back to his hand.

"You are no match for me Jedi."

"We'll see."

The red blade ignited as the Sith rushed towards him.

While Jollas plan was brave, heroic, noble and the stuff that legends were made of - it was also utterly insane.

"Aye I think that way is best." Rathru called out to Gol. Rathru trusted the Duros's judgement having fought beside him frequently. If he thought he could take the Sith alone then in Rathru accepted it as if it were his own reasoning.

Unsheathing his greatsword with a battle cry Rathru charged headfirst at one of the armoured Sentinels. The helmeted figure spun brining its axe to meet Rathru's sword the titanic metal implements meeting in the air with a resounding clang that vibrated of the walls. Several more times the weapons met in rapid succession each strike more fierce than the last. Finally the blows did not meet and the blows connected with armour. Neither were lethal as it was the pole of the Sentinel that caught Rathru and the flat of Rathru's blade that caught the sentinel in turn. Both however were thrown back a distance by the sheer weight of the blows.

Neither were content to stop there however and swiftly they sprang back to the fray. This time blade and axe locked and each side began to push at the others strength neither wishing to give any ground.

While Rathru was large and immensely strong the Sentienl was bigger and had might born from dark magic. The Maelibus would have to pull something fast if he wished to become the vanquisher instead of he vanquished.

A Wave of force power would be felt exploding from Ignis, the kind that many Jedi do not reach in two lifetimes, he had drained a substantual sum of power from Rathru's blade, potentially weakening it for the length of the fight, though to such an extent it would probably revitalize after with more to spare. The eyes of the Jedi master turned purple, and then blew as he clasped his mouth shut, he clothing and his hair wavering and seperating into individual strands and floating as if submerged underwater.

Rathru charged, Ignis prepared, physically enlightening his body to the point that he would be able to possible contend with two of these things in an actual fight. Rathru was knocked back before colliding with one of their weapons, clashing in such a sense which neither of them gained any ground, and Ignis exploded into action, running up behind Rathru audibly, before leaping up his back armour and entering a near death corkscrew spin, before finally letting out a single leg and with a crushing force of metal on metal the Sentinel's durasteel head armour impacted, before cracking and causing massive concussionary force to the Sentinels' head. Causing it to fall backward, Ignis would leave the rest to Rathru...

Ignis followed through breaking into a roll as blaster cannon shots began to let rip in his direction, his force signature discernable, ducking a poleaxe and letting another powerful reverse roundhouse to the knee of a second sentinel, Ignis was suprised to find the monsters' knee barely buckled, leaving him to dodge the point blanc blaster cannon bold by sliding between its legs. and coming up behind it. Drawing both of his swords and plunging one of them deep into the creature's back, through its very armour.

Jolla smirked as two of the Jedi joined the fray and killed one of the sentinels while distracting another, it was about time they had grown some balls. The only problemw as that the odds were still against Jolla, three to one, but the Tethan didn't show any concern it would seem as if he did not care about the odds. Instead he backed into a corner, not because he was a coward, but because he had a plan, and waited for the axe-bearing sentinels to approach him. He grinned as they surrounded him, puffing on his cigar, blaster in hand, he showed no fear, instead he showed delight, for these sentinels were not going to know what hit them. As soon as they approached close enough, Jolla shot his blaster at the left most sentinel's eye, blinding him if only for a second, while doing the same to the right one, as he charged the middle one. The middle sentinel immediately reacted by slashing downward on the Tethan, hoping to hit him without harming its allies. The attack failed once more, and once again Jolla ran up the vibroaxe as it hit the floor, climbing towards the sentinels face, but instead of just jumping off, Jolla pulled out one of his frag grenades and tossed it into the sentinel's robe-armor, before pulling out two of his concussion grenades and tossing them to the sentinels on his flank.

Jolla then proceeded to jump off the middle sentinel's back, just as before, but this time landed in a roll, thus minimizing the impact. In the end, the middle sentinel's face would have been blown to shreds, while the flanking sentinels would be merely stunned, for while a concussion grenade would kill an average human, these sentinels were made of sterner stuff. Still, the stun would give Jolla enough time to charge the sentinel on the right while shooting it's knees from behind, causing it to fall to the ground, holding itself up with its knees. In a vulnerable position like that, the Imperial Sentinel was most likely going to die, but right when Jolla was going to do the finishing blow, the other sentinel recovered from its stunned state and swung its massive vibroaxe at Jolla, causing him to roll away and miss his opportunity to finish off the vulnerable sentinel. Instead he was forced to focus his attention now on the attacking sentinel, so he quickly got up from the ground and turned to his attacker, still smoking his cigar. He then blasted away at the sentinel's knee cap, reloading when he ran out of ammo, but not stopping until the sith spawn fell to the ground, even when the sentinel charged him, bringing his vibroaxe to bear upon the Tethan who responded by rolling aside once more, but continuing to lay fire upon the Sentinel's knee, eventually making it fall to the ground on its knees.

Once more, Jolla came in for the finisher, but once again the other sentinel recovered and came in to attack, thrusting its vibroaxe at Jolla, thus making a huge mistake. Because when Jolla dodged the thrust by dropping to the floor, the vibroaxe entered into the other sentinel's chest and pierced its vital organs, killing it in a matter of seconds. Now there was just one Sentinel left.

While the titanic battle unfolded around him Gol's own battle flowed in micro the Sith alchemist was fast his blade flashing in powerful strikes as he sought to batter through his defences, he in turn was delivering swift parries and counters but never managing to score a strike himself, his mind shifted to a sparring session he'd taken place in recently against a fellow Padawan called Thur'hars, the Cordu-Ji had tried to use his strength to smash aside his defence and he'd turned he blow aside instead of parrying.

He stooped low as a powerful overhead strike came at him and using his cyan blade he brushed the strike down his right hand side stepping up and round behind the Sith his orange blade flashed out racking across the alchemist's back between the shoulder blades. Gol folded his arms round himself in a closed stand right hand blade behind him following his leg while the left blade cut directly down his front. The Sith turned to regard him nothing short of hate in his eyes.

"Anger leads to hate."

Gol said calmly as the Sith roared coming at him lightsaber held in two hands he rained low after blow down on Gol pushing him back several paces as their lightsabers sparked. He dropped low under a horizontal slash that would have cut one of the sentinel legs clean off and leapt up and over the Sith landing behind he turned catching the red blade between his own the man frothed and spat as he tried to force the blade down into Gol's face.

"Hate...."

He deactivated his blades taking a step back and letting the red blade slash down into the ground, his cyan blade flashed on and cut through the Sith's right forearm sending the limb twisting away the orange blade flashed up and claimed the fingers of the left as it cut through them and the lightsaber hilt the two parts bouncing a few feet away.

"Leads to suffering."

He finished as the Sith dropped to his knees pain sending him into shock and with his grip of his force powers lost his link with the sentinels cut off the monolithic beats froze mid strike, the Sith turned his hateful eyes up to regard Gol.

"Kill me."

Gol lowered his lightsabers and extinguished them.

"That is not the Jedi way, we do not kill for pleasure, we do not kill the unarmed."

The Sentinel fell propelled by the supernatural force of Ignis's kick. Rathru had little time to mull over exactly how the Jedi master had drawn the strength to topple such a great foe as he was already taking the springing leap to plunge his forceblade deep within the ancient warriors chest. It connected with armour wrenched for a second as the armour provided resistance and then finally penetrated into the alchemical soldiers organs and the jutted out it's back.

Taking a firm grip Rathru wrenched as he pulled the blade back out and then severed the puppets head from it's body trailing a bright stream of blood in it's wake. Rathru turned to see which warrior was next but froze at the rather pleasant surprise of the rest of the Sentinels having been deactivated.

"It seems that either Ashla or The Allfather smiles upon us this day. That and no shortage of skill of arms and wit on our behalf of you my comrades. Let us completely destroy these sentinels before they yet again awake and carry out their black deeds."

Ignis in the time it had taken to kill the Sith, had managed to actually somewhat guard against a blow from the massive man, knocking him meters to a side and bending his very bone, near to the point of cracking or breaking even though he had guarded with his second sword. The strain forced him to switch hands, blood leaking from his forehead as he charged the beast a second time.

Starting out in a walk, it charged him with a low horizontal swing, Ignis channeled the power of the force into his cloak to defend himself as he rolled over the blade, and the pole before breaking out into a sprint, side stepping quickly as it fired its laser cannon in his direction, blowing out a large chunk of the ground, Igniz still sprinted, running to its side and taking two steps up the wall behind it, it turned, and Ignis kicked off, grabbing his sword in its back and using it as a pole to swing upward, and high.

It turned feeling the pressure, but it was too late, looking up, before it had time to react the songsteel blade went through its head, just as the Alchemist was defeated. The sentinel stalled, falling to the earth as ignis stood upon its shoulders. Removing his blade on the way down and stepping off onto the ground on impact, retreaving his other sword and sheathing it.

Not badly done, Hand the prisoner over to me, I'll take him into custody, credit to you Gol Ignis said moving over to the Sith, looking at the sith lightsaber, before using his blades to slice the two of them open, revealing the inside and taking the sith's crystals within them. He would have no use for them, and he knew exactly where these would be able to go safely.

He bowed his head tucking his weapons onto his belt he pulled the alchemist to his feet ready for Ignis to take him.

"Yes master, I hope I didn't damage him too much for am immediate interrogation."

He looked at the sentinels as Rathru and the stranger deal with them.

"Any idea who he is, this could have ended a lot worse."

One of them was left.......... or so Jolla thought, the stabbed Sentinel arose from his injuries and picked up his vibroaxe once more, causing Jolla to become stunned, he could have sworn that would have killed him, but then again these things were not human, they were not natural. The old and worn Tethan sighed, knowing that now he would have to deal with both now, still he showed no fear and simply twirled his pistol in his hand, ready to fight on. Surprisingly, the sentinels did not charge him like they did before, instead one of them launched itself in the air and jumped over to Jolla, swinging his vibroaxe, horizontally, with stunning speed, not giving Jolla a chance to dodge. Luckily, however, he was not hit with the axe blade, instead he was hit with the hilt, still the swing sent Jolla flying into the wall, causing him to crack it slightly before he fell to the ground.

The attack caused Jolla to crack a few ribs, and start bleeding from the mouth and nose, still he was alive and that was all he needed to get back up, slowly. "****ing hell...." he groaned as he arose from the freezing sewer water, coughing up blood. At this point a normal person would have quit and surrendered, but not Jolla, he was trained to ignore pain and to get the mission done, no matter what it takes. So all Jolla did to heal his wounds was use the FastFlesh medpac, before picking up his pistol and looking at the two sentinels "Come on, you cowards!" he cried out, blood running down his cheeks and chin, as the two sentinels immediately charged, one of them using the jump charge, while the other charged on foot. Jolla expected this, however, and thus had pulled out his breaching charges just before they charged.

As soon as the jumping sentinel landed in front of him, Jolla rolled forward, causing immense pain, but getting between its legs before placing tossing the charges onto the sentinel's ankles. Jolla then limped, grabbing his side and cringing from pain, forward, towards the second sentinel while the charges went off on the sentinel behind him, causing blood to splatter all over the walls and it to be permanently disabled. Now with one last sentinel to deal with, Jolla pulled up his blaster pistol and fired at it, aiming at its shoulder, but it did not stop until it was upon the Tethan, pulling back his axe in order to deliver the final blow upon the injured Jolla. It was only then did Jolla switch tactics, pulling out his flash-bang and throwing it at the giant's face, exploding moments away from it swinging its axe. Now stunned, the sentinel was open for Jolla's next attack. Immediately Jolla pulled out one his thermal detonators and tossed it into Sentinel's armor, causing the sentinel to implode and splatter into millions of small bits of flesh, and covering Jolla in blood.

Now finished with his duty, Jolla fell to his knees and coughed up blood, only now showing that he was truly injured. It was obvious that this battle, more than others had taken its toll on him. His face was bloody with a constant flow coming from his nose, while his coat was torn, and his torso showed cuts and signs of deep bruising, but even then Jolla still had the strength and time to lite his cigar before saying "Well that was fun, eh?" chuckling a little bit, as he breathed heavily and began treating himself so that he could at least walk.
