Axxila Space Station - Goliath
The space station was massive and hulking in nature, well guarded though with its critical weaknesses in defense. A squadron of imperial starfighters was en route, as well as Imperial Transport shuttles which already landed into the hangar while legions of heavy troopers stormed out. While a majority of the station's forces were preoccupied with the frontal assault, a trio of Sith Operatives had managed to sneak onto the station already, through way of cargo shuttles. The Pantoran sith slithered into a corridor with two other acolytes with her. Turning towards them, she held out a hologram of the blueprint, "Let us disable the main security protocols and allow our soldiers entry into the control room.." She suggested, waiting to see what the reactions from the other two would be.

The Trio were inside a darkened corridor near linen closets and janitor supplies, about 100 meters away from the doors between the station and outside hangar.

Shere looked at the fat Twi'lek in confusion, "What do you mean you're out of Glitterryll?" He'd come all this way because he'd been assured this dealer would never run out and yet here he stood empty handed. He didn't have the shivers yet, but he also knew that they'd be there in a couple of hours and that there was nothing close enough to this space station where he could get his fix in time. "Kriff-" he said, but was distracted when a distraught worker ran passed, crying "Sith Invasion!" and weeping uncontrollably. Shere sighed. It wasn't the first time he'd run into a situation like this when he least desired it. "-you're killing me, you know that?" he berated the fat Twi'lek before slinging his deck sweeper from his shoulder and loading it.

Figuring he'd best head towards the control room to watch on the security feeds what exactly this invasion force entailed, Shere began his walk towards it. He kept his eyes open and mind unoccupied by things not concerning the fact there were possible Sith hostiles around every corner. He could probably buy a lot of Glitterryll if he looted some lightsabers today.

Rayne had been on the Axxila station for a few hours, mostly just killin time when she heard the commotion of some passersby screaming something about Sith. Rayne leaned her head to the left, then the right, a couple pops coming from both sides, and took her Renegade Heavy Blaster Pistol, into her right hand, and her Chanti Blaster Pistol into her left, it was time to kick the Sith out of some people...

Rayne headed to the security control room, her pistols raised at ever corner in case there was someone around it who wanted to catch a few bolts to the face, since then only commotion in her immediate area was civilians, she needed a better idea of where the threat was coming from, it seemed another had had the same idea as her as she rounded the corner in time to lock eyes with a Cathar boasting Mandalorian sigils of the Solus clan. Oya! Brother.. Rayne announced in greeting, as she moved into the control room, Whatta we got? She asked to see if he had any more information than she did.

With the Sith Empire unified, it was only a matter of time until they go on the attack again. They could attack Mandalorian controlled worlds, go after Rebel held worlds, or expand into unclaimed space. Today it was the latter wit Axxila, decently close to the former Old Empire and very close to Mandalorian controlled space, and a strategic choice for it's hyperspace lanes and industries.

Tyler Ward was on the space station, elsewhere from the Mandalorians and the Sith. He was with a Rebel Lieutenant Tycho Draykon (@Nommie), the Sith were attacking. Civilians were getting to safety while the station's defenders are attempting to fight them off. "Should we get to the control room? Make sure it's secure?" Tyler was quick to suggest to the lieutenant. Sith agents, and/or even force-users could try infiltrating the place at moment. The Rebels should act quickly. The space station authority wouldn't just leave the control room unattended even in a situation like this, but they will probably get slaughtered by laser-sword toting Sith.

The Alderaanian born Rebel is equipped with his usual armor, weapons, and equipment. He is also ready for action should he encounter any Sith.

Armed with his usual gear and wearing his usual armor. Tycho stood next to Tyler Ward as the two were on the space station. With the newly merged Empire now clearly becoming a threat to both Mandalorian and Rebel controlled worlds it is imperative that they stop the Sith and their soldiers from gaining control of the station. It is a strategic location that will give anyone who controls it access to the hyperspace lanes as well as the industries that use them.

With the civilians getting themselves to safety as what defenders have mustered hold off the enemy for as long as they can, they should not have to worry about civilians accidentally or purposely targeted. Well depending on how low the enemy is willing to go. He certainly does not want a repeat of an incursion the rebel officer did a short time ago.

The criminal looked to his comrade as Tyler made a suggestion that made perfect sense, "Yes we should make our way to the control room. Quickly." Lieutenant Draykon verbally agreed. He doubted that the room is unattended. But intense, dire situations can cause men to abandon their posts due to their desire to live. So it is of great importance that they make sure that is not the case here. Ready for any encounters with Imperials or Sith, with his rifle in his hands Tycho will lead the way towards the control room. Weapon raised with his finger on the trigger incase the two happen to encounter any opposition as they make their way to the control room.

Brolo stood hunched and looked over the Hologram of the station. He wasn't the best for tactical decisions as he liked to describe himself best as a wrecking ball. Though even he had reservations about rushing directly to the control room. "Yeah I suppose, probably have most of that in the control room though wouldn't they? So how we gonna get into the control room, probably the most heavily defended karking point on this tub, to let others into the control room?" He looked over the hologram again and thought of their objective. If they could just blow the mutha karker it would make all their lives so much easier, but the station was an important staging ground for the ground invasion.

"Damnit why could't we just blow the karker up." He shook his head as he wasn't the best for this kind of planning, though he paused and looked at the hologram closer. "Would taking out just a piece of that big ol reactor here," He pointed to the powerplant of the station, "shut down the security stuff without blowing this place out of the sky?" He'd see what the others thought but it seemed to him like a decent course of action if it could work.

Shizuo followed the Pantoran woman, his footsteps thudding while hers barely made a whisper. The sith stood at 7 ft, and was wearing his set of customized medium armor. Lightsaber on one of his hips, and the VBP-11 Blaster pistol on the other, Shizuo looked down at the hologram with glowing yellow eyes, silent as his slightly wheezing breaths betrayed the only sign of life in the seemingly walking dead sith.

He let his ally ramble for a bit as he studied the plans. Looking back to his comrade as he spoke, "Cutting off the power would slow our own troops down as well..." Shizuo said, knowing they'd need to cut and hack their way through depowered doors if the station went dark. He thought for a moment, "The control room will be fortified...but their forces are already split against us. If we approach from above, and cut our way down into it...They will likely not see it coming."

Approaching the station from a different way was always a solution, not to mention with their weapons that could cut through most anything, making an alternate path inside would be easy.

Victoria moved forward slightly and peaked around the wall of the corridor they were standing in, seeing the back side of the armored Shere Solus and Rayne Kelborn as they headed in the other direction (presumably towards control room). As the trio of Sith were silent and still considerable distance away, they didn't make any movements or noise to alert others of their presence. Victoria slithered back into the shadows and whispered, "Seems we already have hostile company on board. If we take the control room we can de-activate the defenses, though it may be more fortified. Taking out the reactor's generator will plunge the station into loss of power, allowing our fleet to easily destroy their defenses.."

She carefully slid out of the corridor's opposite side and peered around the wall, into another hallway where the two Rebel warriors were walking albeit in the same direction as the Mandos. She crouched unseen, allowing their armored forms to pass on by without notice. Her ebony shrouded form was well hidden in the darkness around, a wicked smile coming to her face as she moved forwards to make her kill.

Drawing the force around herself, she pulled the hilt of her saber in her hand and suddenly took off in a full sprint, augmenting her movement with a quick burst of force speed as she covered the distance of 15 meters between her and the Rebels in a near matter of 1-2 seconds. The Pantoran wore her marauder robes and had no armor on her legs, her approach silent and unknown as she thrust forward with her unignited weapon, only activating the blade an instant before the hilt would make contact with Tyler's back @Faster Than Light . In case her assassination did not pan out, she was ready to activate her weapon earlier if necessary, and fully confident that her teammates would cover her in case the Rebels somehow figured the looming predator stalking them prior.

She knew that the Mandalorians would be hostile but luckily they were in the other Hallway, and would likely not be notified of this skirmish between Sith and Rebels. At least not unless Tyler screamed very loudly...and he looked like a screamer.

MEANWHILE, ELSEWHERE ON THE STATION...

Irma Kinton was having... a day.

The Tintinna had arrived on Goliath only a few days before, following up on a tip she had received as to the whereabouts of one of the elusive Ossein fleets. In a hunt that seemed to have taken the former librarian from one end of the known Galaxy to the other, she was searching for information about an elusive member of her family tree, a mysterious ancestors who - if the information she had uncovered thus far was to be believed - had been a general badass, fighting her way through the rise of the Sith Empire some 500 years before. Irma, in the present, had visited Corellia to find out more after a genealogy study she had been performing in her spare time had turned up some discrepancies, and her search through the archives of her family's ancestral home-world had turned out to be quite the rabbit hole indeed. She had gone down it, and now she was out in remote space, trying to track down the whereabouts of the one group of people who might be able to tell her what official channels could not.

Unfortunately, Irma had missed her quarry, apparently by only a few days. Upon arriving on the station, she had been informed the that transient Laogot Fleet had gotten wind of something, and had left for parts unknown. Crestfallen, Irma had taken the opportunity to perform maintenance and repairs on her small starfighter, hoping to stumble across another tip; and only a few hours ago, she had.

Keith Fennig was the lankiest human Irma had ever met, and the young Tintinna wasn't sure if that was down to his natural build, or to the way some Ossein grew up in reduced-gravity environments. Keith, as it turned out, was Ossein, a straggler who had come to the station following after the Laogot Fleet, but unlike Irma, he had some idea of its itinerary. He had promised to help the young Tintinna find is people, if in return she flew escort for his scout ship in her starfighter. The two had just sealed their agreement with drinks from one of the station's cantinas, when the poodoo, as it were, hit the air circulation system.

"Y-You think if we threw away our blasters, the Imperials won't shoot us??"

Irma, glancing back at the tall human, sighed to herself, holding her E2000 blaster pistol with both hands, peering around a corner as emergency lights blinked red above them and panicked civilians streamed past. For a culture that had once produced legendary star warriors, the first "real" Ossein Irma had ever met hadn't impressed her much when the bolts started flying. Neither of them had so much as seen a Sith trooper yet, and already the tall human was talking about surrender.

Irma, for her part, had never considered herself a fighter, and in fact still didn't. Nevertheless, her adventures thus far had taught her a bit about how to handle herself, both in and out of the cockpit. She still felt fear mixing with her adrenaline, but she damped it down as best she could, hoping that if she at least acted tough, she could get through this latest ordeal.

"Look." Irma replied. "That isn't gonna work, and I'm not getting captured before I know Eider is alright."

Irma's droid, ID-3R02, had been left watching the two spacers' respective ships. The droid and the vessels were located in a small ancillary hangar near the main one. With the main hangar currently under assault by Imperial troops, Irma could only hope that the smaller hangar had been left alone.

"And besides... if it's all the same, I'd rather not get captured at all. I'd rather get out of here, and the only way we're gonna do that is with our ships."

With a slightly manic grin, she looked back at Keith.

"And who wants to live forever, anyway!"

Irma rounded the corner, illuminated by flashing emergency lights as she jogged down the corridor. Keith, meanwhile, gave a slight whimper, before following.

"I do, frankly!"

It didn't take long for Shere to reach and gain entry of the control room. Clearly no one was interested with picking a fight with a Mandalorian from the Mandalore's own House while the Empire was attacking the station. Naturally they were more inclined to accept his... well, his "help".

"Who are they?" the Cathar asked the present security officers as he pointed towards one of the screens, depicting two men and one of which held a rifle. It was rather obvious that they weren't Empire, but then they didn't wear the local guard uniform either. "Ehh-" the sergeant of the guard said, "-I don't know." Great, Shere rolled his eyes underneath his helmet, bloody vigilantes. Those guys always made his life hell when he was still an outlaw robber and somehow they even existed on a far-off station like this.

Turning to Rayne, Shere nodded towards the door, "Go check it out. I'll keep you updated over the comms."

It was at this moment that the Sith jumped out from the shadows and charged the vigilantes, causing many gasps of shock in the control room. "Kriff they've breached the station. Put it on lock-down." the Cathar ordered and although he had no formal authority on the station the sergeant of the guard followed immediately.

Red lights went on throughout all corridors and a statement went out over the internal comms. "<<Attention: Sith agents are inside the station. Non-assigned personnel lock yourselves in. Security forces and everyone with a blaster will be needed on->>" he read the designation code for the hallway with the Sith, "<<-corridor three-Alpha-Dash-Six.>>"

Rayne agreed, they needed to follow up on the Sith attack in the nearby corridor, so keeping both her blaster pistols in hands, she began to make her way down a hallway that led to that corridor. The hallway was a brightly lit area, and put Rayne to the left side of the two rebels, and the right of the Sith woman, roughly twenty meters from the melee. And thirty or so meters from the hallway the Sith had slithered out of.

Her pistols were already raised, and Rayne squeezed off three total shots at the saber wielding psychopath, two with Rayne's Renegade Heavy Blaster Pistol sailing toward the woman's waist, and the third from her Chanti blaster pistol toward her right arm. With Rayne's years of experience, and dedication to the art of warfare and the tools used in it, the three shots were very well aimed, the Sith would have a very hard time avoiding them as Rayne was not only far to her side and out of her peripheral sight, but also her presence was currently unknown to the Sith.

Rayne's reaction speed and reflexes were sharp, rivaling that of a trained Jedi Knight, meaning that if anything came in between her and her current task she would be able to adjust and fire the same or more number of bolts into anyone attempting to rush at her.

"I'll watch your six" he quickly nodded his head in affirmative of his superior's orders. With that, he would draw out his vibroblade and his blaster pistol. He would hold his blaster pistol with his right and and hold his blade with his left. He also took a quick at his wrist-controls to make sure this jetpack was in still combat mode. With that, he would be with Tycho making his way to the control room, with his blaster leveled and ready to fire at a moment's notice, but he keeping watch of the rear with his back facing Tycho, and Tycho has the front covered. Tyler already suspected that during the Sith attack there could be Sith force users or their agents, and Tyler isn't going to rush forward with no care given to caution.

Then from where the Sith woman was hiding in the shadows, she came out and exposed herself and then suddenly increased her speed, presumably with the aid of the Force. There was no second thought on what Tyler did after. Barely needing to adjust his aim, he fire two shots from his blaster pistol aiming at her lower torso with recoil carrying the second shot up just a little bit higher. To say it frankly, the Sith Assassin's attempt at assassination was heavily rushed and that will be her undoing. Tyler is a talented and experienced agent who has reflexes on par with a Jedi Knight, so the Sith woman's increase of force speed will not be an issue for him.

The blaster shots would land before the Sith woman gets into lightsaber range (which would negate her attack). Because the Sith woman committed to a burst of speed, she would be trapped in her momentum (being unable to dodge) and the blaster shots would land pretty much instantly after they are fired as she would be running into them, meaning that the woman wouldn't be able to defend with her lightsaber which isn't ignited and she wouldn't have time to activate and bring it to her defense.

The two shots he fired should be able to put her down, but just in case it doesn't work and if she is still able to carry out her attack somehow, Tyler would also pivot to his right to avoid any attempt at a strike at him.

Suffice it to say, this rushjob of a stealth kill wasn't going to work and the Sith woman wasn't as stealthy and subtle as she thought she was. The patient hunter catches the prey, as they say.

The blaster shots would surely alert Tycho. And Tyler would also be on alert for other Sith. They usually just don't send just one of them. If the other Sith show up, then Tycho should be able to deal with them.

Tycho looked to Tyler, giving him a nod in confirmation when the other soldier told him he is going to watch his back. He will make sure to keep an eye on the surroundings in front of him as his comrade watched kept an eye on behind the pair. There was no telling if they are going to confront Imperial Agents or Sith. So being on high alert and watching their surroundings is their best defense right now. Taking a deep breath the lieutenant cleared his mind and steeled himself for the fight that will happen. His hands tightning on his rifle, ready to use it when it is required.

The Lieutenant had no idea how far they got before he heard the dreaded sound of blaster bolts being fired from behind him after he saw Rayne approach from the left of the two rebels. His mind raced towards concern for Tyler as the officer quickly spun around, which moved him a bit to the right. Moving him out of the way of the Mandalorian's bolts she fired from her pistols.

However the officer will not jump to going on the offensive. If this one crazed Sith slithered out of the shadows there has got to be more. How many? Who knows. Besides with the Sith having to face a battle seasoned Rebel and Mandalorian, she will have her hands full and possibly bitten off more than she can chew. With the two warriors taking care of the crazed woman the officer aimed down the hallway, ready to unload his rifle if any Imperials or Sith came down the hallway. However he will remain on his toes, ready to get out of the way if Victoria came for him or if his comrades need his help.

Shizuo had followed Victoria as she led their group to the control room, drawing his lightsaber and his blaster pistol in his cybernetic hands. The saber was in his right hand, and the pistol was in his left, remembering his past battles and the value of carrying both to sure up his offenses.

Shizuo waited for his partner to take the lead, seeing her reach for her weapon as he readied himself for combat. Shizuo started gathering the force within himself as he waited for a signal to strike, feeling the darkness welling up within. As victoria broke from cover, Shizuo followed behind her, stepping into the hallway as she burst out with her force enhanced speed. Saber igniting in his right hand, Shizuo’s tall height combined with Victoria's sprinting posture gave him a good view of the adversaries Victoria was aiming for.

The world felt slow to Shizuo, the adrenaline of battle and the excitement in the air pushing his senses into high gear as the Kyuzo took aim for the man Victoria seemed to set her sights on, Tyler with his weapons already drawn, facing them directly down the hall and appearing ready for a fight. He aimed with his left hand, VBP-11 sailing up and training on the rebel the instant he had a visual on his foe. He fired twice at Tyler and aimed center mass, shooting just before the young man could fire off his own blaster bolts at Victoria. He'd need to get out of the way of Shizuo's shots before even thinking of opening fire on Victoria, lest he take 2 hits to the chest.

A new opponent seemed to enter the fray as well, 30 meters away and to the left of the others, take aim as well. The force that Shizuo had gathered was meant to bolster himself, but Rayne required his attention now. With a warcry, Shizuo unleashed his gathered force power towards Rayne, reaching out with his right hand, fist curled around his saber, and forcibly turned her to face the other armed rebel. The forced movement had no finesses, and was more akin to being hit by a landspeeder then the elegant manipulation of others. Most likely, it'd knock her off balance before she could fire her shots at Victoria, and either send her blasters shots off course, or merely see her not fire at all as the telekinetic energy hit her.

He readied his saber, shifting to a defensive as he began to walk backwards, ready to retreat back to the corridor he had come from for cover, should he need it.

Victoria may have underestimated the Rebel that she stalked, however, if Tyler believed that the Sith Assassin was as foolish as she was aggressive, he would be sorely mistaken. She had her lightsaber already drawn and simply required a flick of a button to ignite the blade; her sights had been on Tyler from the start and so as the warrior seemingly noticed her and began to engage, her lightsaber suddenly hissed to life and coated the hallway with its brilliant, crimson light. Her comrade had interrupted the Rebel's own shots on her however even if he could pull them off, she was ready to simply bring her blade into a defensive arc and bat them away if necessary.

It was true that the burst of force speed gave her momentum and she gladly utilized it to rapidly close the melee gap between her and her adversary. She sent a force push towards the other Rebel @Nommie to create separation while simultaneously pivoting to her left. Her new positioning would place her in between the two rebels but would also mean that the line of sight to her would be disrupted for the Mandalorian. If Rayne Kelborn wanted to follow up after her initial attack on the Pantoran Sith, she would have to shoot through Tycho first. As for Rayne's initial shots, she was confident that her teammates would prevent them from hitting their mark. If they failed, her force speed guided movements and rapid pivoting would likely mean that her positioning was significantly altered compared to her previous location where Rayne had attempted to fire.

Lightsaber held in a defensive minded position while the force wrapped around her as she paced approximately 1-2 meters away from Tyler now. The Sith was a bastion of courage and strength, if there was any indication of a true challenge, this would signify it. The rebel had spent a large portion of his life wanting to fight the Empire, now was his chance. Her eyes studied his movements, ready to engage and defend as necessary to what came next. In the periphery of her vision field, she kept her guard up for the other threats, namely the second Rebel as well as the powerful Mandalorian warrior.

The difference between the big cyborg alien dude firing at Tyler and Tyler firing at the Sith woman was a matter of split second timing. Despite the alien's shots, Tyler managed to squeeze the trigger of his blaster pistol as intended - only once though - and hit Victoria Everett right in the lower torso, burning through her armor and leaving a nice burning hole in it. The Sith woman might have lit up her lightsaber and been ready herself to defend with it, but she didn't actually do it. The blaster shot hitting her clean canceled out her force push and every other action she planned, as the force of the blaster shot would cancel out her momentum. A darksider might thrive off of pain, but still a blaster shot to the lower torso would very much slow her down;, even with armor, bleed through damage is a thing.

With heightened reflexes and awareness (Level 2 can fight multiple enemies in front of them) Tyler would start to pivot to his right as soon as his own first shot rung out. With that, Tyler wouldn't be able to avoid the alien's first shot, it would graze his chest armor piece badly. He would be able to feel the burn of the blaster bolt and the impact. As he attempted the pivot, the first blaster bolt connecting would almost cause him to spin as he tried to complete his pivot, but at least he avoided the second shot fired by the alien and caught his footing. He didn't get in the line of fire of his Rebel superior either.

As an experienced Rebel Agent though, Tyler could bare through the pain. When he caught his footing, he would put his focus where it belongs with the fighting going on in front of him. He will have to be more careful with that blaster toting tall alien however.

Shere was still watching the screens when the first shots were fired and was still more interested in the station's floorplan than in the fate of the Sith. He smiled, after a few seconds and then spurred away. Initially running to the opposite direction of where Rayne had disappeared, Shere eventually took a right and then another, putting him conveniently near the spot where the Sith had hidden in shadow.

Before he turned the corner he had his quickdraw in his right hand and the violator in his left, with both ready to make a quick end to any Imperial dogs. Sure enough, when he turned the corner he spotted a someone examining the station's floorplan projected in holo. At this point he wasn't visible to the other Sith, the Vigilantes or Rayne and neither could he see them. It took less than a second for Shere to recognize the Kiffar as a Sith and thus he aimed the violator at the figure (@Okoju). Two seconds of screeching later, the pistol fired.

Since Tycho was not committed to attacking the female Sith, the rebel officer was able to see Shizuo coming. And with his Westar Rifle already aimed down the hallway, coincidentally straight at the tall Sith. He will squeeze off two bolts at the second attacker. Careful to make sure his own bolts will not become a threat to Tyler. It may not stop the bolts that Shizuo had already squeezed off with that split second reaction of his. But it will stop him from forcing Rayne to turn to face the criminal, preventing her from shooting him if that was Shizuo's plan. It will also allow her shots to be fired off without hinderance as they go towards Victoria, with the move on Rayne canceled the bolts will kill Victoria.

For added measure to prevent himself from becoming a target purposely or accidentally, Tycho took four steps backwards, all the while keeping his rifle aimed at the tall Sith. Allowing the bolts that the female warrior had fired to continue on their path without the Mandalorian having to worry about accidentally injuring the Lieutenant. This also put him a bit more out of Victoria's reach if she managed to dodge the bolts. As he stepped back, the rebel officer will try to prevent Shizuo from using force abilities or from going on the offensive by firing off two more bolts aimed for the Sith's center mass.

Of course in the event the bolts are deflected back at him the criminal was on his toes ready to move out of the way. Being a seasoned warrior Tycho does have tuned enough reflexes to get out of the way of fired or deflected bolts.

With the rebels now out of the line of fire, Rayne's bolts found their mark, striking the female Sith, twice in the waist, and once in the upper torso. The Sith had thought she could hide behind the rebels, however she had made a critical mistake, two actually. First her cover had moved, and second, she thought Rayne would not fire through the rebels to get to her. Luckily for the rebel who had been in the way, he was now no longer, and Rayne's bolts flew unimpeded.

A second Sith had tried a space witch move on her, however her training and experience with battle against force users, made evident by the phrik vambraces that adorned her forearms, Rayne was easily able to adapt and avoid the less than perfect attampt to push her arms off track, by simply stepping back a few steps, avoiding the force push from the Sith man, and his loud yelling and arm waving, avoiding the brunt of it, and resisting what little was left with her natural strength, and skill.

With two heavy and one medium bolt smashing into the body of the female Sith, it was certain she would not survive, but Rayne was not a gambler, and she fired two more bolts from her Chanti Blaster Pistol toward the womans frame, before turning her attention to the hallway the other Sith had slithered out of, and firing two heavy bolts from her Renegade Heavy blaster pistol toward the Sith who was retreating in that direction (@Shizuo Aramusha) as she used the corner of the hallway opening as cover.
