Smuggler's Run: A Han Solo & Chewbacca Adventure is an upcoming novel by Greg Rucka (who is also writing the Shattered Empire comic series). It centers on Han Solo and Chewbacca and is set between Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope and Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back. The novel is part of the Journey to The Force Awakens series, so it will contain hints as to the story of Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens. It will be released on September 4th, as part of Force Friday.

In this story, set between Star Wars: A New Hope and Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, Han and Chewie must fly the Millennium Falcon on a top-secret mission for the Rebellion, while evading ruthless bounty hunters and a relentless Imperial agent.
